Das Hotel ist an guter Lage an der Main Street. Das zugewiesene Zimmer war grosszügig aber der Hundegestank war sehr störend und ich musste ein anderes kleineres Zimmer beziehen.

Gutes Stadthotel zur Erkundung
Wir haben das Hotel als Start für unsere Wohnmobil Reise gebucht. Wir konnten uns vom Flug perfekt erholen, da es im Stadtzentrum lag. Whitehorse war da sehr gut zu fuss erkundbar und auch Restaurants lagen da in der Nähe. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Parking meters in front of hotel, and literally everywhere else....not impressed. It would have been nice to be alerted of their operational times and what app I needed before coming up. For being an older building it is a little noisy but it isn't in bad shape, the food and staff make up for this!!!

Although I overall enjoyed my stay, the Hotel lobby is VERY small and cramped. If there are 4 people (and luggage) checking in/out, you can hardly get around or in the door. The seating/waiting area is the same. The elevator & hallways are also small, narrow and cramped, but to be expected I suppose, in a hotel of this age. Staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. Parking is not great; expect to pay per hour for parking in front of the hotel (and the city DOES have parking ticketers!) up until 5pm each day. And the conditions (winter) are very icy and rough, so hard to wheel any luggage.

Although the listing says there is hotel parking, there is not. There is street parking (metered during business hours) along with the report from check-in that there have been break-ins. So leaving a fully laden Jeep with a motorcycle and belongings on an open trailer was an unpleasant prospect. We initially parked in front of a bar but later on a 1-am stroll to check on the vehicle, my husband found the police station. They very kindly allowed him to park in front of the station until morning. I thought for $168 it would be more luxurious, convenient, and safe, but it was less of these and more tired than many $100 or cheaper hotels we’ve stayed at on this trip. This place is overpriced for what it is.

This was a great property for our short stay but it’s not a quiet hotel. We could easily hear the people above us and beside us during the night. The building sounds a little old and creaky. Other than that the staff were great and the amenities of the hotel were nice. Loved the restaurant as well and the shuttle service from the airport.

It was good for the one night. The restaurant inside is not very family friendly and they don’t make it feel very welcoming to families with small children. BUT the restaurant across the street was tasty. The parking situation is a disaster though. Prepare to walk unfortunately. There is also no close place to let your dog use the restroom.

The staff were fabulously welcoming and overall we were very happy with the stay. It was convenient to have breakfast available downstairs. The construction next door was not overly loud. If the shower curtains were just a couple of inches longer, they would stay inside the tub for showers. Can’t say enough about the warm welcome from the front desk when we arrived at 11:30 at night: so nice after a long trip.
