The Motel was nice and practical to enjoy the various sights and activities in the area. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The handmade cupcakes in the morning were a great start for the day. The cottages were a bit older. The entrance door to the cottage didn’t really fit to the frame you could see light and feel the air coming through the slits. Also the door was missing a deadlock or a securing mechanism. Although it was a safe area, being able to secure the door at night makes me sleep easier.

The ice machine is outside , thats not a problem, but its in back of the office and there is no lighting what so ever. You can hardly see the machine let alone find where to fill your bucket.And finding the motel in the day is no problem. But at night its very hard to find the motel,there is no lighting , the only way I remembered was the restaurant across the street was lit up, there is 2 small white picket fences on each side of driveway, as a marker.Other wise it was clean, safe and friendly.Would recommend.

The property was beautiful! Totally kid friendly with the two different play areas as well as the fenced in pool area. The rooms were so quiet and the area was very nice. A convenient location to walk, ride or a quick drive to the beach, and the options for food were so close and easy to access! The free breakfast was better than I anticipated and the staff were very welcoming and kind. Will definitely recommend and/or return!

Very affordable stay. Only area I could see that might use improvement is with breakfast. Just cereals, pastries etc. Would be nice to have eggs and some breakfast meats as an option. First time to the area and would definitely recommend overall.

Hi Jean, the pool was a surprise for us as well! We had more unexpected damage from a winter storm and are waiting on new parts. As soon as we knew we updated the amenities on Expedia, however it seems that message did not get to you. I take responsibility for that and I'm sorry. Motels are not always the best places to stay, as they are not very luxurious. But this one makes up for that in service, hospitality, and cleanliness.

Motel was OK. Probably appropriate for the cost. Just like the motor motels of the 60s. It was clean and parking was very convenient. Room was a little tight on space but OK for 2 people. Didn't use the breakfast as no seating. For a 2-3 star motel, 4 rating estimate.

Very happy
Breakfast was very good. Breakfast area is clean and organized. Tables are outside under umbrellas. They have several gas grills outside. Table and chairs in your room. Microwave and refrigerator.
