Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sowie Restaurants sind zu Fuß sehr gut erreichbar. Das Hotel hat ein sehr nettes Ambiente.

Gute Lage. Vieles ist gut zu Fuss erreichbar, vieles ist auch mit dem leicht verständlichen 1$-Bus-System gut zu planen. Sehr hilfreiches und freundliches Personal. Unser Zimmer hatte ein Bad mit stufenlos begehbarer Duschkabine, für uns eine sehr viel angenehmere Lösung als die oft vorgefundenen Badewannen mit hohem Einstieg. Leise Lüftungs- und Klima-Anlage.

Schmuckes Hotel, mit Abstrichen.
Die Lage des Hotels ist recht gut. Es ist ein Historisches Gebäude, schon in die Jahre gekommen. Das Hotel ist gut unterhalten und die Qualität der Betten ist sehr gut. Was ein no go war, ist die Tatsache, dass mir ein Leder Armband aus dem Zimmer entwendet wurde. Ansonsten war das Personal sehr freundlich.

Charming historical building remodeled as a quaint hotel within 15 mins walk from the museums. Rooms are small and dated but the staff is wonderful who provided excellent service. We’re light sleepers and asked for a quiet room. Our room was on 3rd floor facing the street. First night was completely ruined from construction and police siren noise. Staff was responsive and moved us to another room for the second night. But we could still hear the police car sirens. Should’ve packed earplugs and sleep meds. Suggest that the owners consider noise proofing exterior walls and windows and adding coffee machine and smart feature on TV. Metro is great and cheap in DC. Next time, we plan to stay in the suburb, away from the noise, near a metro station.

We only stayed one night here, but we had an incredible experience. All of the staff were extremely kind and helpful. The only negative is the parking. There is no where to park around the hotel. They do have valet parking but it’s hard to find a spot to park and check in. Other than parking, INCREDIBLE experience.

One fo the Manager has a bad attitude. Even though they had the wrong check-in date due to their ineptitude, he assumed I was wrong and cursed me severely. I immediately sent that feedback to expedia, who then pressed me in the lobby to rescind the bad rating. It was very embarrassing to be talked to like a complainer. Furthermore, he didn't admit their fault until the very end and insisted that we had changed our itinerary over the phone. Even though we have proofs of check-in date. It was a very unpleasant stay, and we were afraid that we would get involved again at any time during our stay. By the way, the free breakfast coupon he gave us as compensation for canceling the bad rating was unexpectedly missing one and we had to pay for one. I was screwed...!

Highly recommend this renovated gem in a great central DC location. Staff is most accommodating as they smooth out a few timely service deliveries. Bar not staffed by time of posted opening, so had an awkward 15 minute wait. Lovely boutique experience that will be 5 Star in a few months.

Hotel was unique with an cool interior courtyard. The staff was friendly, and everything was clean. Good location with stores and restaurants nearby. I ended up walking to the Capitol from the hotel, others may opt for transportation though. As for negatives, I felt that the bed wasn't as comfortable as other hotels, and getting to the front with your car can be a hassle due to the large volume of traffic. The traffic can also cause a lot of noise with the honking, again not the hotels fault. Price was very good and everything considered I give 5/5, it exceeded what I expected for the price.

Nice easy check in. Friendly staff and service. We did not get to eat breakfast at the Inn but everything was wonderfully decorated. Its was also nice to read a little history about the site in our welcome binders.

Two doormen greeted me as I approached the entrance to this unique property with its Victorian/Asian architecture. Staff was extremely professional, location is great. Short walk to the Convention Center Mount Vernon Square Metro stop. There's a small bar in the lobby and seating areas for casual dining, and a gorgeous dining room for a more formal experience. My room was fine for me, a single traveler. The rainfall shower head gave a great massage! I highly recommend the inn. (I suggest Expedia swap the main pic - window shot - for an exterior that conveys a better sense of the hotel's charm).
