Good location: many restaurants within walking distance and walkable to the Metro. Hotel itself is clean and quiet. However, the pool area was a mess! Huge stacks of towels, glass bottles, garbage everywhere.

Insgesamt gut und gut gelegen, aber nicht günstig
Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt im Hotel ok. Zimmer sauber und groß genug, Betten und sanitäre Einrichtung gut. Allerdings gab es das gebuchte Frühstück im Hotel nicht, sondern nur Gutscheine für ein Frühstück außerhalb. In einer für uns ungeeigneten Location. Wir haben diese dann erst auf intensive Nachfrage beim Manager mit der Parkgebühr verrechnen können. 50 Dollar pro Nacht für einen Parkplatz im Hinterhof sind zudem ziemlich teuer. Overall the stay at the hotel was ok. Rooms are clean and big enough, beds and sanitary facilities are good. However, there was no booked breakfast in the hotel, only vouchers for breakfast outside. In an unsuitable location for us. We were only able to offset this against the parking fee after intensively asking the manager. Also, $50 a night for backyard parking is pretty expensive.

Hotel in die Jahre gekommen
Insgesamt enttäuschend: das Zimmer war sehr in die Jahre gekommen und müsste renoviert werden. Die Klimaanlage unter jedem Zimmerfenster ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Sie war sehr laut und im Zimmer war ein ständiger feuchter, unangenehmer Geruch. In unserem Zimmer kam das Wasser kam aus den Wasserhähnen nur tröpfchenweise, leider wurde beides trotz mehrmaliger Meldung nicht behoben bzw. kein anderes Zimmer angeboten. Das Restaurant war geschlossen, man bekam einen 15$ Voucher und konnte damit in anderen Restaurants der Gegend frühstücken. Das Parken in der Tiefgarage ist mit über 50 $ pro Nacht sehr teuer. Positiv zu erwähnen ist der Pool auf dem Dach, der auch geöffnet war. Ebenso die Lage mit guter Infrastruktur.

1. Nur wenn man Trinkgeld gab, wurde das Zimmer anständig gereinigt, das sollte nicht vom Trinkgeld abhängig sein 2. Beim Frühstück muss man den Serviceangestellten auch Trinkgeld jeden Tag geben, obwohl sie eigentlich nichts gemacht haben. Es steckt immer der Kellner ein, der gerade vorbei läuft. Findet ein regelrechter Run auf die Trinkgelder statt und es wird direkt vor dem Gast geschaut, ob und wie viel man bekommen hat, das macht man nicht, sehr unprofessionell. Während man sich vom Buffet Essen holt liegt schon die Rechnung für das Frühstück da. Sollte eigentlich am Schluss erfolgen, wenn man fertig ist. Es geht nur um Trinkgeld in diesem Hotel. Möchte der Gast wirklich mal was haben, kümmert sich keiner darum!!! Es wird von den Kellnern gejammert, das man zu wenig verdient und nicht von leben kann. Hier gibt es widersprüchliche Aussagen, die einen sagen sie bekommen 2$ die Std. und der Rest muss über Trinkgeld reinkommen, andere sagen sie bekommen als Kellner 2000$ Fixgehalt. Ich denke hier passt was nicht. Glaubt nicht alles, was gejammert wird. Trinkgeld steckt sich der ein, der es findet, es wird nicht aufgeteilt, was ich natürlich für die Kellner sehr frustrierend finde, sollte geteilt werden, dass jeder was bekommt. Ein Kellner, der den Tisch reinigt, bekommt nichts, weil die Damen schneller am Tisch waren. 3. Die Damen und Herren an der Rezeption sind sehr unfreundlich, jede Frage war zuviel, lachten untereinander die Gäste aus, NoGo!!!! 4. Hotel sehr hellhörig

Schönes Hotel in guter Lage!
Wirklich ein tolles Haus in gutem Zustand. Schöne geräumige Zimmer mit bequemen Betten. Rekordhitze in Washington aber der Pool war leider schon leer. Die Klimaanlagen laufen auf Hochtouren und sind dabei leider unerträglich laut. Das scheint aber ein generelles Problem zu sein.

Really good hotel if you want something practical. The staff are really lovely and will provide you with a list of recommendations for dining if you ask. The property is a bit dated but it is comfortable and they provide all the essentials you need including an iron in the bedroom.

The hotel is located not too close, but not too far from the White House and the National Mall. It's clean, has a friendly staff, and close to other conveniences. Nearby are a lot of restaurants with a Johnny Rockets in the lobby. The DC Metro is a short walk.

Stayed here for a quick birthday trip and I gotta say I loved this place. The hotel was very clean and the rooms somewhat spacious. I had to work on Friday and the wifi did not let me down, it worked fast and it was reliable throughout the day. The Johny rockets restaurant in the lobby is very convenient and the food is great. This hotel is also very centrally located, giving you quick access to major tourist attractions. I did not have a chance to check out the pool or the gym but I’m sure it was also great! The staff was also very friendly and willing to assist. Highly recommend this place for your stay in DC. Will definitely come back :)
