Tolles modernes Hotel mit super Team
Neues und modernes Hotel mit sehr engagiertem und hilfsbereitem jungem Team. Sehr moderen (Bedienung von Licht und Tag- bzw. Nachtabdunkeluung mittels iPad) Zimmer, etwas klein aber top konzipiert. (zB: Safe in Ausziehlade unterm Bett, ebenso die Gepäckslade) Parken ist direkt am Hotel nicht möglich, jedoch gibt es in der Nähe (5 min zu Fuß) Abstellplätze um 9 USD /Tag. Die U-Bahn ist gleich in der Querstraße vice-a-vice. Frühstück ist nicht berühmt aber okay. Es gibt eine Wasserauffüllmöglichkeit mit und ohne Kohlensäure, und wird dazu sogar, im Sinne der Nachhaltigkeit, aufgefordert sich zu bedienen. Alles in Allem ein tolles Hotel mit überragendem Preisleistungsverhältnis. Ich mach das selten, aber in diesem Fall ein 100%-ige Empfehlung.

I did not go on my trip because my sister died and I went to the funeral. I was disappointed that I called the hotel to explain the situation and they said to contact Expedia which I tried for hours finally giving up because there was no way I could find to talk to someone. Kind of disappointing.

This hotel is beautifully designed and makes the most efficient and comfortable use of a small space that I've seen in years of traveling. It's an amazing value relative to other hotels in the District of Columbia.

Room was great, staff were really helpful, room was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I have had. Hotel doesn’t have a laundry service. Location is okay, residential with some shops and food service, only one stop away from union station on the metro.

Very nice and clean hotel- looks different then the others hotels. Perfect for one person or couple. Not recommended for the family with small children. I will come back for sure!

Overall, the hotel was fine, but we requested a sheet since there was none on our bed. We were told housekeeping would bring it to our room, but no one ever came with it. Also, when our room was cleaned, we were never given hand towels and washcloths, so we went to the front desk to get them.

A shortage of staff and poor quality food for breakfast. Room is very small but fit my budget by booking through a third party. When booking through the hotel it's priced too high for a small room where you have to climb over someone to get in and out of the bef.

There was trash on the sidewalk right outside of the property. No effort made to pick it up by hotel staff. Very convenient to the Metro station.

I totally disliked this hotel. My room was like a cruise cabin - very narrow. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were 2 feet long and extremely thick making it difficult to get comfortable. Good thing I was sleeping in the bed by myself because it is surrounded on three sides (2 walls and a window) so you cannot walk around the bed. If someone was in bed with me, they would literally have to crawl over me to get out of the bed. The TV turned on with an I pad, guess a remote control is too old fashion. On my final morning there, the TV wouldn't turn on. The bathroom was also very tiny. The shower had a weak spray and the towels were rough. Don't expect your trash to be picked up between days you are staying there. I saw very few staff there - you even check yourself in.

The hotel was very cute with all of the decor. I loved the check in time which was at 2 o’clock.The room was perfect even though small.I loved the way the iPad connected to the lights and tv. I felt safe at CitizenM because no one could get up the elevator without a keycard and when they locked the doors outside you had to use your keycard to get in. The only thing was upon requesting our room to be cleaned it wasn’t. But other than that would recommend this hotel.

My family of five adults had three rooms at the Citizen M for four nights. It was tastefully decorated, with a hip vibe and nice lobby/bar area. The location was a little out of the way, not near most attractions. However, the biggest issue was the size of the rooms. I travel extensively, spend a lot of time in nyc which is known for cozy rooms, and I’ve never seen a room that small. We had carryon bags and couldn’t leave them open because they took up most of the space in the room. And what’s with the bed wedged with walls on three sides and access on just one side? I literally had to climb over my husband to get in the bed. I liked the techie features and the room was surprisingly quiet but we’ll never stay in a Citizen M again. Never.

Great property. Enjoyed the stay. The rooms are very modern. The only negative is the bathroom It’s a glassed walled toilet and shower. No little privacy and leaves very little to the imagination when you or your significant other uses the restroom. Not a big deal if you’re in a long term relationship, but I can’t recommend it to a new couples first outing together.
