Sehr freundlicher Empfang, nachts angenehm ruhig, um auch mit offenem Fenster schlafen zu können, gute Nähe zum Bahnhof St. Lucia. Würde ohne zu zögern wieder hier einchecken.

Ideal für Bahnreisende
In Gehdistanz vom Bahnhof Santa Lucia entfernt ist dieses Hotel ideal für Reisende die mit dem Zug ankommen und nicht noch mit Kofferträger oder Bootstaxi durch die halbe Stadt wollen. Frühstück ist okay, aber nichts besonderes. Personal ist sehr freundlich und diverse Restaurants sind ebenfalls in Gehdistanz

I'm highly recommending this hotel. Especially when you are travelling as a single and being a female. In this case the hotel gets an extra plus. This hotel is managed by the owners and their friendlyness and helpfullness overwhelmed me. My single room was small, but absolutely clean. It's a pleasure to stay in this tidy and very clean hotel with the friendly and polite people. The walk from the main train station is really as short as described. On TV I only found Italian speaking channels. But perhaps I did not search long enough for German or English channels. The positive things in this hotel are so great that smaller things like TV only in Italian do not matter.

Perfect for a weekend trip
The hotel is located near the train station and a waterbus stop, it is easy to get everywhere you want. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is not big but you have everything you need (croissants, biscuits, yogurt, fruits, jam, cheese, chocolate cream). The rooms are simple but clean. We had a nice stay and felt comfortable. (Attention: many mosquitos!)

Hotel ist absolut ok. Kein Luxus, aber alles da, was man braucht. Auch das Fruehstueck war so, dass man erstmal gut in den Tag starten konnte.

Hübsches kleines Hotel in Bahnhofsnähe
Zunächst ist zu sagen: Es ist ein 2-Sterne Hotel und kostet (für venezianische Verhältnisse) echt nicht viel für eine Nacht. Wer für diesen Preis den Luxus eines 5-Sterne Hotels erwartet, sollte entweder sein Budget,oder seine Ansprüche anpassen. Preis-Leistungs-mäßig ist das Hotel echt top und ich kann es eigentlich jedem nur Empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind groß genug und sauber. W-lan ist vorhanden und auch ein kleiner Fernseher. Das Personal ist sehr nett und stets hilfsbereit wenn es um Tipps oder den Flughafentransfer geht. Das Frühstück ist auch in Ordnung, auch wenn es für deutsche Verhältnisse vielleicht etwas spartanisch wirkt, da es nur süß und kein herzhaftes Frühstück gibt. Die Lage ist mit maximal 5 Minuten zum Bahnhof sehr praktisch auch wenn wir die kleine Gasse ohne Google-maps und GPS wahrscheinlich verpasst hätten. Zusammenfassend: Wer ein günstiges Hotel mit einem guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis such, dem kann ich das Hotel Caprera nur Empfehlen

Kleines Hotel Nähe Bahnhof
Das Zimmer war extrem klein. Das Doppelbett war nur von einer Seite zu erreichen. Keine Ablage für die Koffer vorhanden. Da das Hotel ausgebucht war haben wir den Verdacht, dass wir ein Einzel- anstatt eines Doppelzimmers erhalten haben. Es war zwar eine Klimaanlage installiert, aber ohne diese wäre das Zimmer nicht verwendbar gewesen, da es direkt unter dem Dach extrem heiß war.

Nice clean hotel in a quite street. Room was small but ok. After a long day walking in Venice, just fell asleep easily... Breakfast is Italian style (sweet), which was fine for me (cappuccino and cookies)

Zentral gelegenes Hotel und trotzdem ruhig.
Bin öfters in Venedig, beruflich. Und habe bisher verschiedene Hotels gebucht. In diesem Hotel war man gut aufgehoben. Nur das Frühstück war sehr bescheiden.

The hotel was very cute, and the staff were super friendly and very accommodating. They let us leave our luggage there after check out for a few hours until we had to leave for our flight. The staff at the front desk knew us within the first day by sight and knew which room was ours since everyone has to leave their door key at the front when you leave. Highly recommend!!

Off the Main walkway
Excellent stay. Very close to the Train station which made it easy with our luggage. Down a little walkway which was nice . You're away from the main walkway. Arrived early, was able to store our luggage. Friendly gentleman at the front desk. Cute dog, Mativ I think. loved to be petted. Over all, it was exactly the way I expected the room to be. Some people forget you are going to another Country, and most likely the building was constructed a long, long time ago. Would definitely go back.

This was a good stay- our room was right above the entrance so could be noisy in the morning, but it was extremely clean and the staff were so nice! Their dog, Matisse, was a big hit too! I would stay here again but further from the front door!

Above Average Experience
The rooms are tiny. And there is no elevator. Also the breakfast selections were very limited and they ran out of fresh fruit one of the days we were there. The front desk people are friendly. Overall the hotel is in a convenient location within Venice and a walk from the train station.

Trevligt Hotell nära tågstationen
Ett hotell som ligger nära tågstationen och Ferrovia Santa Lucia station för kanalbåtarna. Mycket trevlig personal som var hjälpsamma. Rummen är av lite enklare karaktär men bra sängmadrasser och rum och dusch var rent och snyggt och väldigt lugnt. Var uppmärksamma på vart ni svänger in i gränden till hotellet det är inte tydligt skyltat.

Hotel Caprera is a traditional Italian boutique hotel, in a historic building, conveniently located near the Grand Canal and walking distance from the train station. There are countless shops and restaurants within a five minute walk from the front door. The family that runs the business is friendly, courteous and provided us with excellent communication leading right up to our stay. The continental breakfast provided was simple, yet adequate, including fresh rolls, yogurt, cheese spread, expresso, etc. Things to note for your stay at Hotel Caprera: This is a nicely designed older hotel. As is common in Italy, not all rooms are air conditioned. The rooms without air conditioning have fans. If it is important for you to have an air conditioned room, make sure you request it when you reserve your room. Also, there is no elevator, but you will only need to get your luggage up the stairs once and the location would be very difficult to beat! The front desk assisted us with our luggage, which we did not expect, but absolutely appreciated. We were so happy with our experience here and will absolutely reserve a room here again if we make it back to Venice.
