B&B in Upstate New York finden

„Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Haus hat seinen Charme bewahrt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und groß, allerdings für meine Begriffe wäre etwas mehr Blick aufs Detail angebracht. Der Hinterhof ist sehr idyllisch eingerichtet und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Beim Frühstück ist Selbstbedienung, wobei die Küche groß, modern und gut ausgestattet ist. Nachts war etwas Strassenlärm zu hören, was uns aber nicht groß gestört hat. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.“

„Adorable bed and breakfast in a great location. An old squeaky house but did feel clean. Bathrooms are nothing to write home about and the furniture is pretty basic. The manager (Matt) is very friendly and helpful although he works at both properties so you won’t see him much. Breakfast was fantastic and overall happy with our stay. “

The location was great , about a 3-5 min walk to the main strip, just far enough to be peaceful and quiet. The mansion is absolutely gorgeous and well cared for. „The B&B itself was excellent! Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, attentive friendly hosts, and superb four course breakfast each day. The only drawback was the neighborhood. It is a short walk to many restaurants but there were a lot of vagrants along the way and we did not feel safe. The city of Buffalo can do a better job of supporting such wonderful establishments. “

„Felt like a living museum! It was very cool to experience a stay similar to how it would’ve been way back when… The house is full of unique surprises and authentic decor. The hostess is wonderful and considerate. The outdoor porch is a nice cozy place to read a book, have some tea, or just enjoy the breeze. The room rates are great for all that you get. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone, but especially those that are fascinated with history.“

„The casino is definitely in walking distance IF you feel safe walking down an unlit alley. The area is sketchy to say the least but the property was ok. This is a historic home for sure and not modern by any means but we loved it!“

„Much of the typical Lake George activities were closed since we visited during April, but we were very happy to stay here and will definitely return! It was the perfect space for us two (with extra to fit an additional friend or 2). Owner provided towels, pans, grill, coffee, etc for the stay which is greatly appreciated. It was close distance to anywhere we needed to go for groceries, activities, stores! Sad to go but I look forward to future travels here :)“
