Had a 1 night stay there. Check in at 1:40PM was not possible. Exec suite was quite big but really outdated and had a few damages on floor and furniture. Parking is 15AU$/day and is a few minutes far from the hotel. The distance to Esplanade by foot is nearly 25 minutes. All in all not the best but good value for less money.

Room smelled like an ashtray when I arrived and when I told cleaning service all they did was spray air freshener. When I told the reception desk they didn't care as I was leaving a day early because of the smell. Worst stay in Townsville

Aircon and bathroom exhaust were extremely dirty. Dust and dirt under door, in wardrobe and behind the tv. Tv didn't work, kettle was electrically unsafe and faulty - when turned on did not turn off. Check in was delayed and room wasn't ready by 230 - the reception did change our room on check-in so we could get in.

The condition of the room was poor, and the cleanliness was well below standard. I was shown two different rooms which were equally poor. The receptionist was lovely, and did offer to have the room seen to by the cleaning staff, but I opted to clean myself.

It was comfortable enough but i wouldn't stay again as we had to walk a fair distance to park our car and we told them about a light that wasn't working and the were going to fix it and they didn't, the tea was stale and in the photos it doesn't show steps up to the bedroom as i need a walker it was a bit of inconvenience.

Full of mould and filthy. Serious health issues associated with mould. Leaking air conditioner. Stinky damp carpet. Stinky spare blanket. Picture covered in dust. Paint peeling. Walls are so thin you can hear everything, like it's in the room with you, both inside and outside the hotel.
