Es war alles gut: der Zustand, die Ausstattung und die Sauberkeit des Zimmers, die schönen Rosen, der Blick hinten aus dem Fenster, der freundliche Empfang am späten Abend. Ich würde wiederkommen. Das einzige, was mir nicht gefallen hat, ist, dass sie Radio im Gemeinschaftsbadezimmer spielen. Es wäre schön, wenn sie es abschalten für mehr Ruhe.

Größer als erwartete Standardcabin auf einem ruhigen Campingplatz direkt am Meer. Gut ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche und netter Aufenthaltsraum.

Die Ruhe am sehr schönen Strand
Sehr schön gelegen. Die Gezeiten sind sehr gut hier zu beobachten und nicht hoch. Wunderbarer Strand zum spazieren und baden. Wirklich ein wunderbarer Ort wer es ruhig mag.

No running water or toilet in the room; had to walk 1/2 block to the building housing the toilets & showers. As well, room had a way to boilet water but no coffee or tea was provided. Entry into the grounds was difficult after hours (what defines "after hours" unless you had a phone; i did but was having problems dialling long distance. Luckily i came across another customer of whom i could use his phone to contact the owner/operator to find out how to get my key etc

Hello Sir, thanks for your review, you booked a standard cabin which was shared facilities not included in your room, thou you did have a jug, toaster dishes etc in your room, perhaps a motel would have been a better choice? please enjoy the rest of your stay in New Zealand and hopefully we see you back another time to stay Kind Regards Ivy

Great place to stay. Price was reasonable. Bathrooms/showers are kept really clean. Property is well kept & has a beautiful view in a good location. Staff member I dealt with was friendly & helped me with a few things on different occasions. Laundry on site was a bonus! Would definitely stay here again.

This property was very clean and well kept. The check-in process was easy and quick and the room was ready. There were just two things that were missing. The heater/ac was not working properly in the room. There were no instructions and it was confusing to figure out the remote. The second thing is that there was no knife available. The room only had butter knives and then the kitchen did not have any cutlery either. It would have been nice to cut my carrots with something sharper than a butter knife!

This is a cross between a hostile and a campground for us. Single room cabin with a hot pot for tea/coffee and a set of dishes to use during our stay. Toilets & showers in a separate building 100 m from our cabin. Shared kitchen even further away. Plenty of fridge space in common fridge. No surprise, but folks don't leave things in clean conditions, so had to clean before and after using the kitchen. Price was right for the level of comforts and we were grateful to have a place to stay since we were booking so soon to the start of our trip.

At check in staff greeting was poor and blunt. Other things observed. poor to non- existent wifi The tv in our room played only 1 channel, Staff were approached about this, but didnt seem to care so nothing done to fix this. The hot water in the kitchen always ran luke warm to cold,and the same for the hot water in the mens hand basins in the morning was luke warm. The Toilet Block appearance is excellent and rest of the camp impressive

Toilets and showers clean and pleasant. Cooking facilities adequate. Cabin quite cramped. Walk into town was along main road with limited pavement. Check-in poor. No-one around during advertised check-in times and no response for some time to bell or phone. When someone did appear she seemed annoyed with us for calling her!

Great place
This is a hostel-style accommodation and we had booked a room for the three of us. We had one twin bed and an upper bunker of a single bed. The room was small, as can be expected from a hostel. The restroom was pretty close to our room and had both showers and toilets. What I really liked was that the showers were really clean. We used the restrooms for 2 days and I really appreciated how clean it always was. There was also a division/ space inside the stall to dry ourselves and wear our clothes so that it doesn’t get wet. The restroom also had 2-3 hair dryers attached so people could use those as well. This place made me consider using hostels more often. It cost us ~ NZD240 for the 3 of us for 3 days. The only problem we encountered was that the wifi network was very poor- at least for our room. We were also not able to get the one NZ connection so we truly had an off-the-grid experience for the evenings. The room had free bravo TV subscription- so we enjoyed watching the Paul movie and Mamma Mia movies. Overall I would recommend this place, but just beware you may not get internet connectivity (which is not always a bad thing).

The rooms were tiny & the beds so uncomfortable some of our party slept on couches elsewhere the 2nd night rather than wake up so sore. I apologised to the rest of our group for choosing this place.

Property was very clean and well managed and gardens very well kept. My only negative was the volume of the music that was played in the shower and toilet block which also played all night (way too loud)

Disappointing stay
The cabin itself was ok, however there is zero soundproofing and we could hear both a cycling group and a young family through the adjoining walls - no privacy. We also had an issue regarding the security gate. We tried to leave at 8.30am and our swipe card wouldn’t work to open the gate. No one at reception or answering the phone number on the door with multiple attempts. We had to borrow a card from another guest in the end and it took almost 20mins to get out so then we were worried about missing our Milford Sound Cruise. Disappointing response from staff when they were informed of the issue later about how unacceptable it was they couldn’t be contacted, just gave a new security card. Wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The holiday park felt very clean and tidy. The shower and bathroom facilities were particularly good. A nice large kitchen with three cooking stations and separate eating area (with a nice view).

The lady that works here is extremely rude for no reason. She should not be working in customer service if she doesn’t have the patience to. Although the amenities were nice and clean. Wifi also doesn’t really work. Stay somewhere else!

Hello Hailee Reckless, In regards to your review, you were pressing the bell consistently for 6 to 8 times non stop and had no respect for our equipment, it states clearly press once and wait 2 mins for service, instead it rang constantly and you were asked to stop pressing as I made my way to reception. In regards to wifi many others are using it at present and have no problems, if you are advising guests to stay somewhere else we take it you are not happy to stay here yourself and we like our guests to be happy with their stay, therefore we take it you wish to cancel your second night with us also?? We were happy with the accomodation. Well kept, clean, ok location. Extremely unhappy about our neighbours who were up late making all sorts of noise despite there being written in the hotel guide that noise should be minimised by 10pm. We have young children who thankfully slept through all of that racket. Disappointed that nothing was done about this by the holiday park staff.

This property I have to say was great very clean and very friendly staff. We stayed in the standard cabin with shared facilities. The shared bathroom was so clean and so modern felt like a fancy hotel bathroom. I really enjoyed my stay there and would definitely recommend anyone to go.

オートキャンプ場に個別コテージが併設されている形です。 トイレそしてシャワーは共用です。ただし良く清掃されており快適に使用できました。 キッチンは広くて良かったです。ただ、コテージとちょうど反対側にキッチンがあるため、電子レンジを使ったり、料理を運んだり皿を洗いに行くのはちょっと不便でした。 時間外の場合、入口の扉をカードキーで開ける必要があります。
