Einfaches Motel, nicht weit zum Strand, sehr ruhig
Sehr freundliche Eigentümer, Supermarkt praktisch vor der Haustür. Toll ist auch das man sich Handtücher für den Strand im Hotel ausleihen kann. Mt Maunganui ist schon wegen der tollen Strände eine Reise wert.

Für eine Nacht ok, mehr aber nicht
Hotel liegt an der Haupteinfahrtsstrasse.Dementsprechend laut. Auch die Eisenbahn ist zu hören. Freundlicher Besitzer. Saubere , einfache Zimmer, die an eine umgebaute Garage erinnern. Für eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp ok, aber definitiv nicht mehr.

Hi there Thanks for taking the time to write a review Maybe should check your booking as our motel isn't on a main road and certainly has no converted garage space.Yes train noise can be heard on wind direction as can the sound of the sea but much less than motels situated on the main Mount road Cheers Craig

Nice smaller building with good size rooms. Walking distance to amenities including the beach. Wi-Fi is not too good. Owners are super friendly and helpful.

The property was well located. The staff very courteous. The room whilst part of an older motel had been updated and you could not fault the cleanliness. It was comfortable and although we were only there for one night, I would recommend this motel to all.

Very handy to large supermarket just across the road, dining options just up the road, unit was very clean tidy and comfortable, could do with a fan as very hot inside at night. Happy with facilities and cost.

Girls weekend was wonderful. Our stay was very pleasant. Room was large and comfortable. Walkable to beach and New World. Only downside is the water pressure could have been better but didn’t spoil our stay.

You can walk to the beach. Very easy to drive to the sites. Love the private spa tub that each unit has. Full kitchen had everything we needed. Nice outdoor garden to enjoy.

Okay little Motel with a nice room for a family. Great place if you want to explore the beach. A bit pricy for the quality though. Needed to call the owners to get the room as they were away. Not okay when you're a foreign tourist and it costs 3 dollars a minute to use the phone.

The nicest people and a good location close to a few restaurants, walking distance to the beach, and a quick ride to the mountain or run if you feel up for it. Definitely do the hike for sunrise. Close to a bit grocery store and convenient to some takeaway spots as well. They offered me a beer as I ate my takeaway dinner and also gave me milk when I arrived plus a small bag of chocolate. Thoughtful details. Loved Tauranga and would come back in a heartbeat. I also forgot a necklance and they are sending it to me. TYSM

Quiet, residential location close to the beach. Lovely clean room, tea and coffee facilities, comfy bed, and great wifi. Everything spotless. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Loved the free washing machine and dryer. Close to a grocery store. Perfect for our stay in Tauranga.

We were in unit 2. Didn't notice much traffic noise. Close to shops and restaurants. Off-street parking. Good basic motel. A few minor inconveniences. Couch wasn't comfortable, cushion had a weird bump in it. Bed sheets were scratchy. Power plugs were not in convenient places e.g. expected to be next to bed but they were on the other side of the room so had to stretch cord across the room.

Hello Alicia, We're glad you found the location of the Motel, and our all stay good. We are an older motel so unfortunately power points are not in the modern place you would expect them to be, sorry for the inconvenience, we provide extension cables were possible. I will let our linen provider know you found the sheets scratchy, but this is the first compliant we have received out the sheets.

Very friendly welcome for our one night stay. Clean and well equipped. We were only a couple, but the unit had spacious accommodation for 4. Would be great for a family.

This is a well maintained property to a good standard. The only problem was on the first night of my stay the wi-fi became unusable. The second night it was okay.

Overall okay stay
Room was spacious and comfortable. But it would be nicer if basic housekeeping was done at least every 2nd night. Like cleaning bathroom and kitchenette, replace towels and throw out rubbish. Also they ran out of milk and didn’t bother to get one for us.

We're glad you found the room spacious. Housekeeping is done daily, if you hang towels up, we assume you do not want them to be changed, as per the environmental notice in each bathroom. Rubbish is removed as part of the service. If you are in the room at the time of services it is more difficult to do a full service, but we always ask if there is anything you need, unless it looks like you are still asleep. We hope this helps.
