Gute Lage, großes Zimmer; ultralauter Nightclub
Das Hotel mit über 100 Zimmern liegt sehr gut im Außenbereich Stockports. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und sauber. Ganz negativ: Aus einem Nightclub, integriert ins Hotel, wummern und dröhnen abends die Bässe. Samstags war eine Hochzeit (wie oft der Fall) mit ebenfalls sehr lauter Livemusik. Wir konnten nach Beschwerde gottseidank umziehen von Zi 303 in Zi 323 am anderen Ende des Korridors, wo es okay war.

Schönes Hotel für Touristen und Geschäftsleute
Eine beeindruckende Anlage im Landhausstil mit historischen Gebäuden und viel Grün in der Umgebung. Man hat das Gefühl, auf dem Lande zu sein und wird vom Vogelgezwitscher sanft geweckt. Hervorragend ist das Frühstück an Sonntagen. Der Speiseraum überzeugt mit seiner festlichen Ausstattung. Das Haus ist trotz der hohen Zimmeranzahl überaus gemütlich.

Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig gelegen, obwohl es bis zum Zentrum der Stadt nur etwa 3 km sind. Es besteht
Das Hotel hat den Charme eines altenglischen Herrensitzes und überzeugt durch die stilvolle, gemütliche Einrichtung. Es entsteht eine fast märchenhafte Atmosphäre schon beim Betreten des weitläufigen Geländes. Im romantischen Speiseraum wird man von ausreichend Personal umsorgt und verwöhnt. Das Frühstück war überaus vielfältig und üppig.

I didn’t realised that immigrants are staying at that hotel. Kids are wondering around at the car park and playing. Security are all round. I didn’t expect security at the hotel. First when we enter bit worried. But later we are fine inside our room.

Not what it once was
having stayed here many time pre covid and had some great times, the place is NO LONGER what it was, it is now used to house immigrants. The days of old are gone it is no longer the Bredbury Hall of great repute and known nationally as a great place to stay. Really saddened and disappointed but all good things.........

The mattress was terrible. There are a large number of families who appear to be staying long term. They were using the outdoor facilities of benches and gardens which of course is fine BUT they also had children going up and down the car park on trollies and scooters which was not only dangerous but incredibly noisy. Huge amounts of screaming and crying until10pm. I did complain and hotel staff did persuade them to lower the noise but only for about 10 minutes.

Very pleasant staff. Dining was good, well stocked breakfast. Some hallways were outdated and in need of re-paint as the doors and woodwork was dinged up quite a bit. Room was stuffy at night, too warm. Stay was late April through first week of May and already too warm in the room. Overall a nice place but for the price, really should give some attention to the hotel hallways and doors. Consider fans in rooms since no AC.

The room shower cubicle was quite dirty around the screens. The evening room service was a disaster getting the order incorrect and requested myself to pay for the food I did not order. The breakfast lounge was adequate however the volume of staff communication (in a foreign language) was loud and destroyed the ambient atmosphere sadly.

Avoid hotel if you want sleep
The room was very noisy there was banging doors and loud noises till nearly 12pm. I think it was very unfair as a paying guest not to be informed, that this hotel was being used to house refugee families, and that there would be security staff in the corridors. It made me feel very uneasy needing to have security staff present. I had a room with a double and a single bed. I slept in the single as the bedding on the double bed, had green pen or a green stain right across the top sheet. The food was good and the staff where helpful but i definitely would not choose to stay here again.

The hotel is nice but the staff attitude was bad and the food was so bad got wrong order to my room and I asked the waitress to change it because it’s not what I want but they refuse to change it things was so expensive as well I don’t think I will visit this place again

Staff are very good and the hotel is great except that the shower room gets flooded every time you use it because of the water splash from the shower itself. Nonetheless, great stay!
