WE stayed at this hotel for about 5 nights. as soon as we stepped into the building, it smelled very moist in the worst way possible. And then when we stepped into our room, there were so many staines on the bed sheets. it all just felt so unclean. as we stayed through out the days, spiders started showing up in the room and in the bathroom. The floor is terribly dirty, you are not able to take your shoes or socks off because you will get literal black feet, disgusting. Room service would never come to clean no matter how may times we'd asked them to come and change or clean something. Anytime we asked for something for the room to be added on, we were given the information that it will come today or tomorrow, but it only came when it was almost time for us to leave the hotel.

We were looking for a cheaper hotel for the night that would be safe for us and our cars outside. This hotel was great and the staff was very friendly. Checking in/out was quick and easy. Compared to other hotel reviews seen around the St. Louis area, this one was better by far. While there is no complimentary breakfast, there is a coffee bar by the front desk which was nice too.

Staffs were very nice & welcoming. But property is very old. There was this smell in the room which made all our stay so difficult. We booked this place for the graduation week, location wise very convenient & safe as well. But room condition is not good for us.

A nice hotel for a great price. The rooms are a little dated and the chair had a huge stain in the middle of it with the curtains half hanging off the bar. Lots of painted surfaces covering up an old hotel.

The bed wasn't made it had obviously been slept it the room wasn't clean at all and there wss blood stains all down the side of the bed went immediately down to check in and they said oh we will get housekeeping to change the sheets and we told them no way staying this is nothing like what was described or photographed online please give money back and i will go somewhere else they replied you will have to take that up with expedia because you purchased it there

This is a good value if you're looking to stay in the Midtown/Forest Park area. It's right off I-44 and close to so many things. I had the chance to meet the owner who is (as of April 2024) updating and renovating the property. The hotel is clean and in good condition, and it's adjacent to The Hill (the historic Italian neighborhood of St. Louis). There was no breakfast, which didn't bother me since I never eat it anyway. And I had a few issues with my key card during my five-night stay, but it was nothing the front desk (a) wasn't aware of already and (b) couldn't fix immediately. Staff was overwhelmingly friendly and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I was really shocked by just how poor of an experience this hotel was. I knew it was a budget hotel, but even at about $100/night, you still expect certain things. The room had carpet coming up in the corners. Our toilet didn’t flush properly, and we had to take the lid off and manually flush about 1/2 time. The sheets were stained. The chair was stained. The towels were stained. There were hairs everywhere in the bathroom (like on the ceiling everywhere). Stuff all over the walls. We stayed for 3 nights, housekeeping never once went into our room. The elevators feel medieval. We ran into other folks around the elevators and all the other guests would joke with us about how sketchy the elevators were. However, every staff member I interacted with was lovely. Kind and helpful, which makes me think this is a lack of resources issue. I checked in on a Friday night and there was only one woman getting a line of people checked in with no help, but she was still answering everyone’s questions about the area with kindness. It’s definitely not the staff making this place feel more like a $50/night motel than $100 /night.

The hotel was run down, it had wall paper that was peeling off the walls in lobby and hallways. It definitely needed some renovation. Rooms were like the pictures, very clean, only complaint was toilet was in middle of the bathroom and was crooked.
