Hotel ist überteuert
Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt bei diesem Hotel nicht. Wir waren Ende März 2018 nach Abschluss einer Aida-Kreuzfahrt für ein paar Tage da. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Meer. Weil das Meer hier ziemlich wellig ist, kann man nur selten direkt vor dem Hotel baden. Generell ist dies aber kein Problem, weil beim angrenzenden Nachbarhotel (ca. 150m dem Strand entlang) baden gut möglich ist. Leider hat aber gerade dieses Hotel 2x in der Woche bis ca. 01:00 sehr laute Musik, die ein Schlafen im Zimmer (wir hatten Zimmer mit Meerblick) verunmöglichen. Um ca. 06:30 Uhr beginnt dann bereits wieder der laute Betrieb mit dem Sonnenschirmaufstellen. Der Preis für das Zimmer mit Meerblick (direkt oberhalb Bar) ist mit über CHF 200 pro Nacht für diese Hotelklasse überrissen. Auch die Preise für Frühstück und Nachtessen sind zu hoch. Wir haben günstig in angrenzenden Kleinrestaurants gegessen.

Sehr nett, wunderbare Lage, am ruhigen Ende von St Lawrence Gap, an einem sehr schönen, nicht zu kleinen, nicht zu grossen Strand. Gut geführt, alles transparent und klar, sehr nett, sehr entspannend. Falls nicht eh gebucht: Auf jeden Fall am Empfang einen "Breakfast Plan" buchen, sonst kann's ein bisschen teurer werden, weil dann jeder Toast à la carte gezählt wird.

Die Zimmer im EG sind nicht zu empfehlen. Unser Zimmer und Bad waren zwar groß, aber unpraktisch. Z. B. im Bad absolut keine Ablagemöglichkeit, nicht mal auf dem Waschbeckenrand. Kein Meerblick. Service sehr, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf Nachfrage haben wir gleich am nächsten Tag ein Zimmer im 2. OG bekommen. Hier war alles super.

Perfekte Lage am schönsten Strand von Barbados
Aufgrund der Nähe zum St. Lawrence Gap und den vielen dort vorhandenen Restaurants für Selbstversorger gut geeignet. Das Hotel-Restaurant ist auch nicht schlecht, allerdings entsprechend den ortsüblichen Preisen nicht sehr günstig. Straßenhändler und Buden in der Umgebung grillen auch sehr gut und günstig... Der Dover Beach vor dem Hotel ist gepflegt und sauber. Liegen sind für Hotelgäste kostenlos und ausreichend vorhanden. Sonnenschirme gibt's für 5 US$ pro Tag zu mieten.
So würde ein Fisch das Hotel sehen...

Gute Lage, nettes Hotelteam
Das Hotel besteht aus zwei Gebäuden. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk mit Ocean View und waren daher im Gebäude direkt am Strand (und am Kinderpool). Das zweite Gebäude ist auf der anderen Straßenseite und hat einen Pool. Unser Zimmer war schön eingerichtet und auch geräumig. Wir hatten dort einen Kühlschrank und eine Kaffeemaschine. Das Bad könnte erneuert werden. Das Waschbecken z. B. war nicht sehr sauber und auch verfärbt. Mittags und am frühen Abend ist Happy Hour an der Strandbar des Hotels (2 for 1). Das Hotel ist ziemlich hellhörig und in unserem Zimmer war die Musik der umliegenden Bars gut hörbar. Das Hotelteam ist sehr freundlich und die Lage gut. Denn der Strand ist schön und man ist mit dem Bus auch schnell in Oistins oder Bridgetown. Es gibt zudem viele Restaurants, Bars und Essenstände in der Nähe. Die Liegen am Strand können kostenlos genutzt werden, allerdings sollte man nicht zu spät kommen, da dann schon alle besetzt sind. Der Sonnenschirm hat pro Tag 5 US $ gekostet. Es gab kostenlose Strandtücher, die aber ziemlich klein waren und nicht immer verfügbar.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand, Liegen sind inklusive, Sonnenschirm kostet 5 USD pro Tag. Insgesamt kann das Hotel noch etwas zulegen, allerdings würde ich es wieder buchen. Die Rezeption ist sehr bemüht, wenn auch nicht immer alles klappt. Das sollte man mit der karibischen Gelassenheit sehen! :-)

Nachdem wir unser Hotelzimmer mit Standard Oceanview gezeigt bekommen hatten (Zi 116) waren wir erstmal mehr als enttäuscht: Das Zimmer liegt im Erdgeschoss und die verglaste schmale Zimmertür war gleichzeitig "Haustür" und einzig vorhandenes "Fenster" des kleinen dunklen Hotelzimmers mit Zugang über die Mini-Terrasse! Beim Betrachten der Anlage fiel uns auf, dass wir definitiv eines der beiden schlechtesten Zimmer erwischt haben mussten, den alle anderen hatten große "normale" verglaste Balkonschiebetüren als Fenster. Wir haben also bald an der Rezeption nach einem anderen Zimmer derselben Kategorie gefragt und umstandslos auch bekommen! Das Zimmer 204 war deutlich größer, mit Balkon und großen Fenstern ausgestattet und hatte ebenfalls seitlichen Meerblick. Die Zimmeraustattung entsprach amerikanischem Standard. Das Hotel hat eine Top-Lage: An einem schönen Sandstrand gelegen und gleichzeitig am "Ende" der Flaniermeile St. Lawrence Gap mit diversen Restaurants und Bars und Bridgetown ist in wenigen Minuten mit dem Mietwagen erreichbar.

The room was great and the property was well kept. The major problem was the extremely noisy outdoor bars around the area with people playing music exceptionally loudly quite late into the night and very drunk singing. Just to be aware if you plan on staying here.

I went to have breakfast on Saturday 13 about 8:30am, I was immediately seated to the rear right side, close to the juice dispenser, Another couple came in about five minutes after me , and was seated immediately behind my table , the couple that was seated five minutes after my arrival, got served before I was even ask for my order, After this happened I immediately got up , left the restaurant and went to the front desk to lodge a complaint , From then to the end of my stay I started having breakfast on the outside, at other guest houses

Everything was excellent. Everyone was very helpful. Staffs are very kind helpful and professional. Only thing is the beach towels needs to be actual beach towel instead of regular big bath towels. My one-night stay went ok until 8pm when the loud live band/karaoke/party started which ended at 1pm, without a word or warning from the hotel staff. Never again

The location is ideal for a quiet getaway with friends or family. A definite option for beach lovers. The upgrade was appreciated but inconvenient. Reserved two queen beds, got a king bed, a sofa bed and a single bed. The sofa bed should not be an option and not considered an upgrade. Very uncomfortable accommodation for a few days. No elevator in this walk up. Not for older folks. We were told that the room upgrade type was not available on the ground floor. Pray that there is no storm during your stay. I planned a lovely dinner for my group at the restaurant near the beach. Relocated indoors due the weather. Food was very delayed and unavailable, service left a lot to be desired. My group of at least 4 women over 65 waited for more than an hour to receive service. Guests arrived after our group and were served before us, despite our reservation way in advance. Overall stay was good, but customer service training needs to be considered.

Once there are orders prior to yours, that will delay the service. Thank you for also understanding that in some cases four full meals will take more time than a portion of finger foods. We hope to better our service still, even as our closure date approaches in July. Your feedback will be used to ensure this. The upgrade was not ill intended, and we understand from your feedback that it was unwanted. We will be more careful when offering complimentary upgrades to larger rooms for stays. Close proximity to the St Lawrence Gap. Friendly staff. Hotel room were a bit outdated. Overall stay was great!

The hotel was clean and at a great location on the beach. Only downside was towel availability. We had to call house keeping on one occasion. The other 6 days were fine.

Had a two bedroom, comfortable beds but had to wait to get blankets, bathroom taps and shower drain were gross, v dirty, bedroom window was permanently open, couldn’t be closed so it was noisy and the air cond ran continuously. Furniture very worn and shabby - NOT worth the money

Good location, quiet. We loved being able to walk to many restaurants and shops. Some of hotel could use some updates but overall very pleasant place to stay.

Our fault, but we were surprised to learn no elevator for 3rd floor room. The staff kindly moved us to their building across the street in a ground floor room. Good area with several dining options within short walk.
