Nice hotel, nice roomes, mediocre receptionists
Nice modern hotel. Very nice rooms, yet not very big rooms. Nice view onto the harbor. All modern and good condition. Reception was not up to the task. Checkin was bad - official checkin time is 3 PM and they had us and dozens of other guests waiting exactly till 3 PM. Pretty bad.

Room was directly next to the elevator shaft. Rooms not very well noise isolated. You could hear the elevator every time someone used it. Sleeping without earplugs therefor not possible. Food in the restaurant very expensive and plates were not full. Booked a taxi via the reception twice and both times it didn’t show up.

Meinen Wüns hen gemäss hatten wir ein helles Zimmer.Die Betten waren getrennt, die Aussicht auf den Hafen war super. Das Hoetel ist zu empfehlen.

Ein typisches Holiday Inn, schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, war das Bad neu gemacht. Allerdings war das Zimmer im 1.Stock zum Parkplatz mit Sicherheit eines der weniger attraktiven. Das Hotel liegt in einem Hafengebiet. Nicht so schön.

The staff were pleasant and accommodating.The room was clean and comfortable. The town of Southampton was in easy, safe walking distance. It was a 5 minute walk to the cruise ship.

Needed to leave 2 days early to get to London. Asked at desk if there is a penalty fee and was told it is 60GBS. But since i made the reservations thru Expedia they would not refund anything so the fee was basically $600 for the already booked room. Never staying at a Hoiday Inn again

I didn't like that the gate from the cruise ship really close was locked and I had to walk a long way around to get to you, not your fault. Elevators were slow. People were very nice and helpful.

The room and bathrooms were very clean, but the hallway carpets have stains and are a bit run down. There are only 2 small elevators for the guests, so it takes time to go up and down the building.

Karol at reception was excellent and really made our stay exceeding expectations. My partner was sick and Karol was most helpful. Surprisingly restaurant had good food and wait staff were friendly and helpful given staff shortages

Het hotel ziet er aan de buitenkant armoedig uit, maar eenmaal binnen is alles prima. De kamers zijn schoon. De badkamer is wat aan de kleine kant. Het ontbijt is geweldig (ook continentaal). Je wordt keurig naar een tafel gebracht. Vanuit het hotel steek je zo over naar een groot winkelcentrum. Treinstation is op een kwartier lopen.

This IHG Holiday Inn is brilliantly located nearvthe Southampton Cruise Terminals, Westgate Shopping Centre, and Soithampton Central Station. MORE importantly, this hotel exemplifies superior customer service! Staff sre warm, friendly, snd go out of their way to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. The on-site restaurant offersa deliciois buffet breakfast, all-day food, and evening meals. There is a direct line to the local taxi company. A multitide of shopping opportunites and assortedrestaurants of every type are within easy walking distance. The manager, Warren, and his well-trained staff are ready to assist in any way. Confortable, spacious rooms and great beds ensure a terrific night's sleep. 10 out of 10!
