Trip to the paradise
Top Location für einen Traum Urlaub - das Essen hat Hauben Niveau Empfehle all inclusive Nachtleben nicht vorhanden, keine Party Location Achtung: die Zimmer sind ohne Klima und statt Fenster gibt es fixe Rollos mit fliegengitter. Dh man hat einen Panorama Blick in den Urwald und aufs Meer. Ab Sonnenuntergang fängt der Wald zu leben an, die Lautstärke über Nacht ist atemberaubend aber für jemand der es still braucht um zu schlafen sicher ein Horror. Es gibt keinen TV im Zimmer, das stört aber nicht bei der Aussicht

Bei unserem seit langer Zeit wiederholten Aufenthalt haben wir erfreut festgestellt, dass das Hotel seinen romantisch-karibischen Stil beibehalten und das Service- und Freizeitangebot erweitert hat. Als Urlaub für Paare, die Karibikfans sind, und insbesondere für Taucher zu empfehlen.

Genialer Rückzugsort um zur Ruhe zu kommen
Sicher eines der besten Hotels, die ich bisher gesehen habe. Der "Four Diamond Award", den das Hotel im vergangenen Jahr erhalten hat, ist sicher verdient. Der Strand ist sehr schön und da abgelegen sehr ruhig. Das Zimmer mit der zugehörigen Veranda/Terrasse ist sehr grosszügig bemessen. Einzige Unschönheit: Keine Klimaanlage in den oberen Zimmern. Der Deckenventilator reicht zum Teil nicht ganz aus, um ein angenehmes Raumklima hinzubekommen.

Sehr schöne Anlage mit hervorragendem Essen und Service. Wichtig zu wissen: - Unklimatisierte sind trotz 3 Fans sehr heiss - Frösche sind während der Nacht sehr laut Wir hatten keine grösseren Probleme damit und können das Resort 100% weiterempfehlen.

Das Anse Chastanet, ein Resort für den ganz besonderen Urlaub
Das Anse Chastanet ist ein Hotelresort für den ganz besonderen Urlaub. Alles dreht sich um den Gast und kaum ein Wunsch bleibt vom hilsbereiten und freundlichen Personal unbeantwortet. Wir haben für 7 Tage im Superior Bereich gebucht und waren voll und ganz zufrieden. Unter anderen auch mit der unberührten Natur die direkt hinter den beiden Privatstränden beginnt. Hierzu zählen intakte Korallenriffe und Dschungel der vom Resort behutsam mit landestypischen Bungalows bebaut wurde. Die Anlage selbst ist einige Hektar groß und war über 200 Jahre eine Zuckerrohr und später auch Obstplatage, die mit dem sehr freundlichen Guide Meno besichtigt werden können. Weiteres plus ist das wirklich hervorragende Essen, das in verschiedenen Örtlichkeiten eingenommen werden kann. Unter anderem auch am täglich stattfindenen Grill am Strand: Catch of the Day oder bestes Grillfleisch. Ein Großteil der Gäste sind Amerikaner aber auch Deutsche und Briten waren mit uns dort zu Gast. Es herrscht im übrigen auch unter den Gästen ein sehr nettes Miteinander, da die begrenzte Anzahl der Bungalows schon gewisse Vertrautheit schafft. Zu guter letzt hat dieses Hotel auch schon etliche Preise eingeheimst und liegt direkt an den beeindruckenden Petit und Grand Piton die zum Unesco Weltkulturerbe zählen. Eine Anlage die man voll und ganz weiter empfehlen kann in der Hoffnung das sich die natürliche Schönheit dieses Ortes auch und trotz Turisten auf diesem Niveau erhalten lässt.

The resort is beautiful. Excellent location for beach, snorkel, diving, sailing and relaxing. Staff are all professional and strive to be engaging, friendly and service oriented. Good food, great chefs, estate grown organic farm, all leads to exciting daily menus. Sailing excursion with snorkeling was super fun.

I was initially unsure about a property that did not have air conditioning and required guest to climb several stairs to access either the beach or their unit. Fortunately, my husband and I are in good physical condition and we're able to manage the climb and decent of the stairs multiple times a day. A shuttle is also available for guests who are unable to do so. As for lack of air conditioning in the majority of the units, we surprisingly adapted fairly quickly. The nights are cooler, and fans are provided in the units for added comfort in addition to the ceiling fans already installed. The views are to die for in the dining options. Our superb. I will definitely visit again.

Beautiful and serene location. Easy access to beach and nice clean beach. Burgers at second beach are amazing. Rooms are nice but need AC it was too muggy with the rain to be able to sleep without AC. Restaurant Staff was hit or miss, they tended to be rude and inattentive, we had an all inclusive plan so maybe they were disappointed with tips, not sure, but as soon as I started giving tips things got a little better, which shouldn't be the case because I paid a lot for the all-inclusive plan. Access to sister resort, Jade Mountain is limited which is not what we were told at time of booking. Dinner needs more options, especially for vegetarians, it was same menu all 4 nights and food quality could be better. For the amount of money we paid hospitality and meals could be better.

As the only resort with an entirely vegan restaurant on the island, we would have hoped that the vegetarian and vegan choices available to our guests would have exceeded your expectations.We will review our menus to see where we can do even better. Whilst some menus are a la carte, there is also a daily changing menu made available in our Balawoo restaurant, including vegetarian options. Our sister resort Jade Mountain does not have public facilities that can be accessed without prior reservation. Anse Chastanet guests are able to make reservations at Jade Mountain for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and also, they may book sunset cocktails on the Celestial Terrace. Anse Chastenet is a slice of paradise. We stayed in a beachside room for convenient access to the beach, which we enjoyed for hours a day on comfortable lounge chairs under the protection of huts. The housekeeping staff was excellent in cleaning up the constant presence of sand and wet towels, and they're very professional and friendly, too. All of the dining options were fabulous, from the large spread of fresh and delicious food at breakfast to the beachside lunch service to various evening options, including vegan, Indian, and Creole. We also enjoyed the special meals which featured a buffet of exquisite, local food with many items to choose from. The property is small enough that you get to know staff members and others whom you see frequently but large enough to feel private. Be sure to do the Anse Mamin plantation walking tour, snorkel near the dive center, and take advantage of the best scuba diving the Caribbean has to offer. We'd come back in a heartbeat!

The hotel was wonderful, the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The welcome drinks and the concierge taking your bags to the room is a nice touch. As this was a VIP hotel we had a bottle of wine chilling in the room fridge. We were also able to get an upgrade from the superior room ocean view to a garden view room which is down on the beach. The upgrade was lovely to have a larger room with outdoor socializing area. Food was very tasty and enjoyed dinner each evening at the beach restaurant. The gourmet burger at the beach bar on Anse Mamin is very tasty and highly recommended. The stairs to the treetops restaurant for breakfast is a good morning workout but you can call for the shuttle bus at any time to take you up and down to the beach. We did some snorkelling which was enjoyable. Would highly recommend this hotel. The only downfall is it is a little remote but they do offer a water taxi into soufriere daily which we utilitied

They Remember You!
Amazing how much of the staff remember you from year to year, and the service and perks grow with each visit. Love the view of the Pitons. If you like to snorkel or dive this is the place. Also the sunset sail was perfect. We recommend it, especially on an evening when no one else has booked. The sailboat only takes 6 guests, but you can book private, of course. The menus in the 3-4 restaurants are varied and have the Treehouse has a special menu each night.

If you're looking for a quiet, intimate, setting for an island getaway then Anse Chastanet should be high on your list! The resort is wonderfully integrated into the hillside and surrounding rainforests and the amenities were wide ranging and exciting! The food was amazing, and only made better knowing it is all sourced locally. I'd highly recommend Anse Chastanet and I hope we have a chance to return.

If you're looking for more than just a typical vacation this fits the bill. The property and beaches are gorgeous, the food is outstanding and the staff is fantastic. We honeymooned here 12 years ago and had such a nice time coming back. It takes a few hours to get over no AC, but we are coming from SC where it is much hotter and was not an issue. Book a premium room here and get meals included. Take the helicopter upon arrival; it will save you time and the ride is gorgeous. We'll be back sometime again and hopefully sooner than 12 more years.

This place is great….very secluded and unique….great staff….great food….great drinks….and especially great, top notch scuba facilities…..and you don’t need to be a diver to enjoy the reef….there is a reef right in front of the resort where you can snorkel see an abundance of reef fish, octopus, crabs, eels, ect

We absolutely loved our stay. St. Lucia is so beautiful. The resort staff is so nice and accommodating. The view from our room was beautiful! There were quite a few stairs (about 200) to get from our room to the beach, but we even loved the walk through the mountain every day. There was no air condition in the rooms and I usually can't sleep when its warm, but I didn't have an issue falling asleep. We stayed busy during the day, so I was pretty tired each night. We definitely recommend Anse Chastanet and we hope we get to visit again!

I had a great room with a beautiful view both in front and back. 2 thing I did not like: 1) No air conditioning in the room, so it was very difficult to cool off until after dark or when in the water. 2) In order to dive we had to do their shore dive, which included taking off mask and regulator. I only wish it had not been a shore dive, it was not worth it. I've was told everyone had to do it no matter what or how many dives they had.

Our scuba centre takes safety very seriously which is why we feel it is beneficial for all of our divers to start with a check out dive first to settle in and check out equipment and buoyancy. This has been our policy for many years and we are sorry you were disappointed.
