Tolles Hotel mit spektakulären Dachterrasse
Das Hotel ist frisch renoviert und wird mit viel Liebe geführt. Sehr nettes hilfreiches Personal. Spektakuläre Terrasse auf dem Dach! Grosser Pool, das Wasser war leider etwas kalt. Insgesamt tolle Erfahrung.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit hervorragendem Service. Herr Antonio und seine Kollegen waren beim Frühstck ganz toll. Ein Problem waren sehr laute Jugendliche, die in der Nacht in dem vor dem Hotel liegenden Park eine Party veranstalteten.

Schönes und ruhiges Hotel
Vom Hotel aus sind Zentrum und über Treppen oder Lift (kostenpflichtig, aber eigentlich auch unnötig) Hafen und Wasser sehr gut erreichbar. Man kann wunderbar bummeln und zwischen vielen Restaurants im Ort wählen. Tipp: Statt Richtung Zentrum/Hafen kann man in Gegenrichtung noch schneller das Wasser und urige Restaurants erreichen. Über den Hafen ist Capri schnell und einfach erreichbar, am besten per Schnellfähre (25 min) und dann in Ruhe auf Capri weiteres (Bootstour um Capri, Blaue Grotte, ...) buchen. Aber auch weitere Ausflüge per Boot oder Bus sind genauso einfach möglich. Hilfe und Buchung über Rezeption möglich (teilweise auch deutschsprechend). Alles nicht billig, aber imho auch kein Nepp. Empfehlung: Bootstour nach Amalfi und Positano für ca. 100,- pro Person (geht auch billiger, aber so hat man ein kleines Boot mit max 15 Personen). Neapel, Pompeji und Vesuv am besten per Bahn (Circumvesuvia) machen, schneller als mit dem Bus oder Taxi. Station zu Fuß vom Hotel gut erreichbar.

Sehr gutes Hotel mit Dachterrasse und Meerblick
Am Empfang wurden wir sehr freundlich begrüßt und dann auf unser Zimmer begleitet. Ein schön eingerichtetes Zimmer, Bad mit Badewanne. Das gesamte Hotel sieht sehr gepflegt aus. Im 5. Stock befindet sich eine Dachterrasse. Von hier kann man super auf Stadt und Hafen sehen. Die Lage des Hotels ist optimal, am Wasser gelegen und nach wenigen Minuten ist man mitten im Stadtzentrum. In einem eleganten Frühstücksraum ist ein großes Büfett aufgebaut und drei Kellner erfüllen weitere Wünsche der Gäste. Am Abend kann im Restaurant vorzüglich gespeist werden. Wir haben uns in diesem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt.

Perfekt gelegenes, ruhiges Hotel.
Waren vier Nächte da. Guter Startpunkt für Pompeji, Vesuv etc. Tolle Lage am Strand, direkt neben der Altstadt. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Einzige Kritik: Frühstück zwar reichhaltig, aber kaum frische Artikel.

Excellent location, excellent rooms, excellent staff! What else can you expect to make your stay in Sorrento an unforgettable experience? The rooms of the hotel Continental have a breathtaking view and are spacious and elegantly furnished, with a beautiful taste of the area. They leave nothing to be desired. And yet the best part of the hotel is the staff: from the reception desk to the breakfast room, from the room service to the valet parking - they are all professionals in the best sense of the word, extremely friendly and attentive, always at your disposal. We have seldom been made so welcome at a place away from home.Thank you all again. You're doing an excellent job, every single one of you! We'll sure be back one day.

Den 4 Tage Aufenthalt konnten wir genießen bei schönen Wetter mit Besuchen in Pomjie, Amalfie, Positano und Capri. Der Aufenhalt wurde abgerundet durch die abendlichen Besuche der schönen Altstadt von Sorrento.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Continental. The rooms were beautiful and we had a nice sea view. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating, and they even repaired the handle on my suitcase for me! What a relief! The breakfast was phenomenal, and the service was outstanding. Stayed here for a week in May . The staff were very nice . Breakfast buffet was great. Had dinner one night in the rooftop restaurant, it was fantastic . Our dessert was served in a wooden musical box ! Location is perfect for everything.

The Hotel Continental is now the only place we will stay when visiting Sorrento. The hotel is excellent in all respects. The Hotel was so much more than I expected. It has beautiful old world charm and the staff are just wonderful. The breakfast ambiance blew my mind! The only downside was the bed comfort which is why I took away one star. I would stay again regardless.

Lovely breakfast, but noisy
Nice hotel. Breakfast and staff service in top notch. Breakfast really good. However, if you want want to sleep, you need ear plugs. Very noisy. We had to be moved because of a party upstair. We could have joined it, and should have, it sounded like a blast but unfortunately we and a few other guests couldn’t sleep. In general hard fault but because it’s old, it’s noisy.

Above and beyond service
World class hotel, as evidenced by the amount of service the front desk/concierge staff doles out to first-timers…..likely all. They even arranged a dinner for 10 when the bride decided at 7:15 that she was uncomfortable with her 7:30 dinner arrangements. Went above and beyond to find not only and opening but one that could accommodate the many, many food preferences and allergies. Thank you Luca in that one and everyone else on other requests. Will stay again when in Sorrento.
