My friend and I spent 6 nights at Hipstercity in Singapore before and after our trip to Bali. The affordable price, friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the facilities, and ease of the check-in/check-out process were all EXCELLENT! I would recommend Hipstercity to anyone who wants to stay comfortably in Singapore for a great price. I’m so glad I found this place on Expedia. Thank you, Hipstercity!

Too noisy to sleep
Unfortunately this lovely hostel is located next to a night club. Felt like i was trying to sleep in a club. Earplugs didn’t help at all - Not even noise canceling earphones. If you want to sleep more than 4am to 9am I can’t recommend this place. If you don’t mind a 5 hour sleep then this place is very lovely and nice.

The hostel itself is really nice, clean and well run but their is a club that places music across the street until 4 and then other venues play music through to the morning as well which made it impossible to sleep even with earplugs. We had the double room on the 3rd floor with the street-facing window. Other roomprobably aren't as bad.

For a youth hostel, the place is fantstic. We all have a locker and a lot of space to place our stuff. The breakfast is not big but ok. And it's situated on the best street ever

장점: 최고의 위치, 친절한 스텝, 가성비 최고, 힙한 휴식공간, 모든 시설이 깨끗함 단점: 커튼으로 나눠져 있어 소리에 취약, 샤워시설 남녀공용 및 반투명유리 모든 단점을 고려해도 최고의 숙소였습니다. 방문전에 숙소측에서 호스텔로서 커튼공간등 충분히 설명했고 귀마개도 제공해 줬고 제가 둔해서인지 불편함 전혀없었습니더!

Worst experience I had in my life in any hotel. I was sick with hard diaharrea and I had to share a bathroom, that was out of paper very early in the night. I had to change to another hotel I order to not disturb the other clients of the hotel and to have a normal bathroom for somebody with diaharrea. I tried to talk with the hotel and have a refund but it looks that for the hotel is more important 200 USD than the commodity of the other people sharing the bathroom, they prefer somebody threw it up or having to go to the bathroom every 30 minutes and no paper to clean than returning those 200 USD and have all the clients happy. Really knowing how they treat me while I was really sick ( with proofs) I will never recommended nobody to stay here cause you could have in your shared room someone like me bordering you the whole day and the hotel doesn't care. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE the only black point in my excellent visit to Singapore

Delayed Planes, Hipstercity made sure the stay was
For a solo traveler wanting to explore two days in Singapore, Hipstercity fit my need perfectly. Unfortunately, my plane was delayed a day from overseas and I didn’t have a way to inform them. Many hotels would cancel your stay if you wouldn’t check in at the reservation time, but they left me a late check in form as well as a key when I arrived at 2am. Such a delight! Free earplugs, but there’s a chance that you may hear some really bad karaoke singing or throbbing bass from the bar downstairs late at night. There’s lots of activity in this area. FANTASTIC coffee in the lobby and some cereal and bread for breakfast. Hotel staff is super.

A lot for a little
It is simple and cheap, but kept very clean, always friendly and attentive. Ok, so breakfast is not the greatest - but I was just happy it was included. Can't beat the location either! Downside is a lot of street noise; better accept those ear plugs the offer you!

Good location and interesting setup
This hostel is a bit expensive for the area and type of accomodation. Nonetheless i would recommend it. The setup is tight with a bed and shelving all stacjed on top of each other, but it still feels like you have privacy. The hostel is clean and centrally located. The breakfast is solid and self-serve (cereal, fruit, toast). My only concern would be around security. There isnt anywhere to store luggage securely and the door to the shared rooms us only locked at night.

Awesome place, they gave us ear plugs on check in. Room was a little warm at that time (but I don’t know any hostel in SEA that’ll air condition mid day) Decor was creative, bed was super comfy and location was very walkable. Would definitely stay here again. Liked it better then my last trip when I stayed at Arab street area.

Me encantó
Todo estuvo perfecto. Tanto los cuartos como los dormitorios están en perfecto estado, es un hostal en el que dan siempre el "extra" para que estés súper cómodo y feliz. Tiene café delicioso y gratis. El staff es super atento y amigable. MUY limpio, además huele rico. Un lounge area divino y super a gusto. Muy buena ubicación.

When we first arrive in the evening, the street are very noisy. However, it is amazing when we step in the hostel. Everything is clean. We saw a little working corner which is quite cute in the first floor. The bed is in the second floor (connecting by a ladder). There is also complimentary still water at the working corner. Everything is clean and nice. The host provided us with an earplug to reduce the noise at the street outside. Next morning, when we get up, a free breakfast is provided with cereal, apple and milk. The dining room is clean and very nice with a window looking down to the street. In the morning, all the shops are closed. We love the peaceful moments from the windown of dining room. I think it worths to stay there. The bathroom an toilet is small but clean and nice with little leaf decoration.
