Hatte ein Businesszimmer angeboten bekommen, dafür war das Mobiliar aber etwas mitgenommen und ein zwei Decken-Spotleuchten hingen schon halb runter. Das ist jetzt aber meckern auf hohem Niveau. Das Hotel ist in einem sehr guten Zustand, das Personal ist sehr diskret und hilfsbereit und die Lage ist absolut nicht zu schlagen. Genau an der Metrostation Peoples Square und keine Min Gehweg zur berühmtesten Einkaufspassage East Nanjing Road.

Gute Lage, Zimmer ok; Bar und Restaurant naja
Personal am Frontest und Conciergedesk sprechen kaum englisch und haben keine Ahnung. Weder von den Hotelleistungen noch von den Möglichkeiten in der Umgebung... Erschreckend für ein 5 Sterne Hotel. Die Bar ist schmuddelig und sollte dringend mal geputzt werden... Aussicht und Lage sind toll; Restaurant hätte vor 5 Jahren schon mal einen neuen Teppich und einen Eimer Farbe gebraucht...

Lage des Hotels ist super, aber leider ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Internet ist nicht sehr stabil. Klimaanlage ist im Winter auf Heizung eingestellt und lässt sich nicht umstellen. Angebot in der Business Lounge ist sehr bescheiden. Service ist sehr unterschiedlich von super bis schlecht.

Classy Hotel, Great Location
Very easy to get to from Hongqiao airport (1 hour after landing) only 6-8 stops on the Metro. Quick check in and check out. A few quibbles: Wifi signal still terrible (reported this 2 years back & no better) and nice pool but water far too warm - do a few laps and you get out sweating. Epicure restaurant far too expensive for great revolving Shanghai views but only very average food.

Stayed with my family for 8 nights. Hotel is an old Shanghai iconic and is in best location for sightseen. Hotel satff was very friendly and supported our son with extra service ( DVD player ) without extra charge. Very nice I can highly recommend this Hotel for family and sightseen. We will come again

Wir konnten leider nur 1 Nacht in diesem tollen Hotel verbringen. Das Zimmer im 21. Stock mit Blick auf den Platz des Volkes war sehr großzügig geschnitten mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten. Das im Preis inbegriffene Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Metro-Station, die riesige Shopping-Meile und der Platz des Volkes mit dem schönen Park liegen direkt vor der Tür. Besser geht es nicht. Das Hotel bietet für 80 rmb einen Shuttle-Service zum Pudong-Flughafen. Haben wir nicht genutzt, weil wir unbedingt mit dem Transrapid fahren wollten.

Wir besuchen bei unseren Städtereisen gerne unterschiedliche Hotels, auch innerhalb eines Aufenthaltes. So auch geschehen bei diesem Shanghai - Besuch. Unmittelbar aus dem wenige hundert Meter entfernten Marriot-Hotel gewechselt, fällt (spätestens jetzt) das nicht mehr aktuelle Design auf. Zwar ist alles Gesehene in renoviertem Zustand, kann jedoch aufgrund der Ausstattung, Abnutzungen und auftretende Defekte das Alter nicht verbergen. Wäre dieser Umstand als noch zu akzeptieren zu bewerten, so gilt das keinesfalls für das Servicepersonal :War ein allzeit freundliches und kompetentes Erscheinungsbild der Mitarbeiter im Marriot der überaus angenehme Standard gewesen, so wirkt der bestenfalls sachliche, aber keinesfalls einladend freundliche Auftritt der Radisson-Crew als unangenehmer Gegensatz. Empfehlen können wir nur die Aussicht, die das sich drehende Restaurant im 45. Stock bietet. Dafür braucht man jedoch nicht und werden wir auch nicht mehr in diesem Hotel ein ( bzw. wie in unserem Fall : zwei) Zimmer beziehen.

It’s our first visit to Shanghai, Stayed at Radisson Blu New world for 6 nights 2 adults, 2 kids in a Family Suite. The hotel is very conveniently located to Nanjing rd shopping area, a short walk to people square train station, tremendous amount of dining options. Very lively area. We absolutely loved the amenities, kids loved the swimming pool, jacuzzi and great breakfast every morning. Beds were very comfortable, housekeeping did a great job. Will highly recommend this hotel. Absolutely loved Shanghai will be back for sure
