Great location close to Camana Nay shops/restaurants/bars, sleek modern design, spacious rooms, big bathroom with a great walk in shower. Breakfast was amazing with different choices and coffee. Tyler provides amazing customer service. She is a star. Would recommend and book again.

Family room and staff were perfect for our needs! Also - great location to launch explorations - easy to drive about anywhere and the hotel provides lots of amenities - from towels to chairs. There is a beach a short walk away - it’s alright. The pool is ok - quite small - we preferred the beaches! A few places to grab food and a short walk to Camana Bay - which is definitely worth checking out.

Definitely a great place to Stay for a short visit. The rooms were absolutely amazing so clean they look brand new and they were huge. People were amazing But it’s definitely not a place you would take your family to. The pool was very small maybe 10 chairs total, no gym. I highly recommend it just not for a vacation stay.

We had the two level family suite and it was so well appointed. Great for our family of three. The included breakfast was fantastic, goo options to choose from. The hotel is centrally located to alot of walkable places.

We had an excellent stay at Locale. Our Room was comfortable, well designed and very clean and large. It was great to have the loft space in our room for our teenage daughter. The staff was highly professional, welcoming and helpful. The restaurant was convenient and the food was good. The location is walking distance to the beach and some restaurants. We stayed at a resort on the beach for the first part of our trip to Grand Cayman and then at Locale. This was a nice contrast - it was low key and more informal.

Property is nicely decorated with a beach vibe. I stayed only one night for business but the place as easily accesible, close to shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast that was included on the fare was delicious. I will come back for sure!

The Locale Hotel was a nice surprise. We wanted a less expensive property and one that had a beach we could use. The beach was about an 8-minute walk down the street and was NOT crowded. We sat under a tree on the beach every day and only saw people walking past for exercise but hardly anyone sitting near us on the beach. They provide you with beach chairs/towels, so it was worth the brief walk and to have sand underfoot, which some of the resorts no longer have much of, and nice to have space around you. The rooms were nice and spacious. You could hear a little night traffic as the rooms face the street side but nothing that would keep you awake at night. the bathroom had a nice sized shower. The breakfast was nice, although you have a certain section of the menu to choose from...again it was certainly adequate. Nice restaurants to walk to from the Locale and the people were helpful and friendly. They have a pool (4' deep) on the side of the Locale; not large but nice size to take a dip after the beach and sit around on the lounge chairs. All and all, we were very happy with our choice and would stay there again in the future. We didn't feel that we sacrificed much at the Locale vs. a larger resort on the island. You won't be sorry.

Wonderful and super helpful staff, central location, clean and comfortable rooms. I had second thoughts about not having direct beach access, but Ms Tyler went above and beyond to give us tips and point us to the right direction, we ended up exploring so many great spots and places in the island that we would otherwise not have gone to. Everyone on the staff was so lovely and helpful, and the central location made it easy to access all the must see spots!! The rooms were super clean and comfortable..Will definitely come back!! Thank you Ms Tyler for your wonderful hospitality!!

This was a great property and after having spent 10 days at the Sunset House (where almost everyone was consistently sullen and unfriendly), I was happy to be at a location where I was greeted at the front desk with smiles, helpfulness and kindness!

Great little boutique hotel! Quaint pool, funky rooms. 3ish blocks to the ocean and shopping. Peppers across the street was a cool spot to eat but the hotel restaurant “Bonfire” was delish too! Hotel had free access to beach towels, chairs, umbrellas to use. Wish the pillows weren’t so hard. Otherwise no complaints.

Locale Hotel was a perfect place to stay in Grand Cayman. The hotel is in a great location. Walkable to the beach, dining, and shops. Parking is in back - easy to park - always had a spot. Property is clean and well maintained - daily. Staff (front desk, breakfast, and cleaning staff) are friendly and very helpful. Beach chairs are fantastic, with a cooler pocket in the back. Staff can offer you ice for the cooler if you go to the beach (bring a ziplock bag to hold the ice). Beach towels are clean and thick and soft; available clean as needed. Rooms are a great size. Perfect for relaxing after a long day outside and a nice dinner. Beds are comfortable there's a good selection of comfortable pillows. Breakfasts were fast and there is a good variety of breakfast options included in your stay, with extras available at a cost. Dinner at Bonfire was good - the pizza was yummy (dinner is an extra cost). And there is a dessert/ice cream place in the same building as the hotel, which is a nice stop after a good dinner at one of the very near Seven Mile Beach restaurants (and a walk). Short walk to Camana Bay. Will definitely stay again and again.

Hi Scott, we're sorry to see your 1-star rating! Flight issues are of course beyond the hotel's control, so we always recommend travel insurance in case of the unexpected. While refunds are not possible if a reservation is cancelled on day of arrival, our manager did provide the option of a penalty-free date change.
