We had a late arrival and used the email from their website to try and message but the adress was incorrect. Left voicemal as no one answered the phone but hotel could did not call back. Upon arrival receptionist was obsolete to this. When booking it was not apparent that parking cost $15,unpleasent surprise here as other hotels had rooms vacant for a lower fare and with breakfast. The room did not have a vintage flair but was rather outdated,a rug quite stained,air conditioning quite loud. The ratings are overrated, we do not recommend staying here.

Dieses Hotel hat soviel Charme und macht den Savannah-Aufenthalt wirklich zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Zentral im Historic District ist alles zu Fuß zu erreichen. Und die Stadt ist so schön - hier sollte man laufen. War jetzt zum zweiten mal in dieser Unterkunft und komme bestimmt wieder.

I loved the location and the bar was fantastic. However, I noticed a few areas that could use improvement. The handrailing outside the upstairs rooms needs to be fixed, and the carpet's pattern made it difficult to see some significant trip hazards. The staff was mostly unobtrusive, which wasn't an issue, and most of the bar staff was friendly and welcoming. I would probably upgrade my stay next time, but it was okay for what it was. The food at the restaurant was great.

Very friendly staff, Grumpy helped with our bags. He was very helpful. 2nd floor room. Very clean and quiet. Only a few shirt blocks to shopping, dining, and waterfront. Fun and friendly bar and restaurant. Highly recommend!

I booked at this hotel for a short getaway with my boyfriend while we were in town for a true crime convention at the Savannah Convention Center. From the moment we arrived, we both knew we would enjoy our stay. Grumpy was a nice handyman who was cordial and helped me with my bags, and the front desk folks were friendly and clear on the reasonable hotel rules. The room my boyfriend and I had (317) was the perfect size for our needs and its age was charming (though our bed was a little creaky and the room was slightly musty smelling, but these things don’t bother me). I loved having the soaking tub after a long day of activities, as well as the shower with a built-in seat. Overall, a great place to stay to fully feel in the vibes of Savannah! I can’t wait to come back and stay again :)

Great location, the inn is made from several historic buildings combined into one structure making for quirky charm. Staff were amazingly friendly and location was great. Room itself didn't have an exterior window, looked into the hall instead. Room also a bit dated with worn couch and bathroom in sad shape.

Great location in the heart of Savannah’s old town with beautiful, quiet rooms. Beds were very comfortable. If you eat at their restaurant be sure to book through “Open Table”. I had booked through their website a good month before we visited only to find they did not have our reservation and were booking through Open Table. The restaurant looked very nice and from what we saw looked like a great place to dine. Unfortunately we ended up having to go elsewhere. Overall I would recommend this establishment. The staff were great.

The staff from the front desk to the bar was very friendly and helpful. The inn is a in great location... very walkable. We didn't eat at the restaurant because we didn't have reservation... heard it is very good. We were actually in a guest house, not the main inn building. It was great, very large with a bedroom & sitting room, a fridge, a large bathroom... just perfect. All in all, it was a great stay.

We had one of the inn's rooms without windows, so right away the dark room was off-putting (it is a renovated 18th century inn, thus the interior guest rooms, but I wish it was made clearer when I made the reservation). There were stains on the carpet & settee, and the bathroom looked ready for a re-do, although the huge four-poster bed was comfy and the location couldn't have been better for exploring the city.

Loved our stay except we were very disappointed that we were not able to dine in the restaurant, even though we were staying there. No one mentioned how busy they get and that you needed a reservation when we checked in. We had plans the first night and thought we would dine in on our second and last night and that didn't happen. They didn't even try to accommodate us even though we paid to stay there, very disappointing.

The property is very old, which is what makes it charming. The restaurant is always packed but the adjoining pub usually has some availability with food service from the restaurant. The pub is very warm and charming. The whole place is warm, charming and comfortable.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Inn. The staff were friendly and always responsive to any needs or questions. The property had the charm and character we were looking for and added to our experience in Savannah. The bed was extremely comfortable and the a/c kept our room cool.The WiFi was reliable and having a smart TV was nice touch. We would definitely stay again on future visits.

I know we chose to stay in a 230 year old Inn. The atmosphere fit the bill but some amenities could be updated. Minimal hot water to shower, maybe put some tissues in the room, any type of breakfast would be nice, bedding was poor, room furnishings were not nice at all. Staying in an old historic inn is fine but not living like it’s 1790.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Linens and towels were clean. The only window in my room looked out on a hallway, which had lights on all night. Even with curtains, the light made it hard to get to sleep. Noise from the bar downstairs, and the staff areas, comes into the room and echoes in the halls. Everything creaks due to the age of the place. Location is very good. Altogether, not worth the price.

Beautiful historical inn close to amazing restaurants (including restaurant and tavern on site). Our room (317) could use a bit of tlc while still preserving its historical charm. Staff was wonderful! Our room definitely had some strange energy but I wouldn’t expect otherwise considering its age. :)

Our room was so run down. Huge black stains on the beige (dirty) wall to wall carpet. Light switches that fell off the wall. One Bulb in the duplex fixture was burned out leaving lighting low and dull. Furniture was so worn I did not want to sit on it. Ceiling had an access panel that was very water damaged and looked as if it was ready to fall down into the room. Thankfully the toilet worked and water came out of the shower spigot when I turned it on. I will not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone I know.

While staff and interactions were welcoming, the facility is in dire need of a refresh- carpet in hallways and staircases not regularly vacuumed and need to be shampooed. Room and hallway wall painting scuffed and stained, curtains likewise in need of cleaning. Upon checking in we were told that rooms were not cleaned daily- ??? We never would have booked had we known this. Do not recommend for the price. Disappointing.

Great location and Grumpy is amazing. I wish he would accept tips and maybe donate to local charity? Room was clean and comfortable, however overdue for an update. Couch was way past its prime, blinds didn’t work, there were curtains we could close instead. Would still stay there again. They were little things. The people made it great! Didn’t have time to try the restaurant, but it was packed and smelled delicious.
