It’s a great place to swim year round as the pool was so warm. The hot tub was a little too low on the water level in it and the jets would just bubble around and not do anything. If you are wanting to sleep well, be careful of sleeping here, it has a lot of night life and people are super loud all night long.

Everything -- facilities, staff, cleanliness -- was fine. The only drawback was the high level noise in the restaurant at dinner time, which force me and my friend to shout at each other across the table to carry on a "conversation". In particular, the disco music that came from the dancing room next to the restaurant was particularlly annoying.

Loved the pool, hot tub, lounge, and gym. I wish they offered a no cost breakfast, given the price, however the restaurant had good food for purchase. I also wish the gym was available much later(closed at 7pm on Saturday). Room has a tea pot and pitcher for tea and coffee and ours still had water from the last guest, so obviously not cleaned. Overall, was an ok stay-just a bit pricey.

The room was LARGE, bed and bath were uber comfortable and CLEAN. Large windows with blackout curtains AND sheers, for a great atmosphere. Restaurant is pricey (really a glass of chardonnay for $19.00!). Only other reservation was getting extra towels: Called the front desk in the morning--no answer--three times! Called again and got an answer--ordered 3 bath towels. By late afternoon, no arrival of towels. Went to front desk and asked PERSONALLY for three towels. Finally, they were delivered. There is nothing egregious here, but you DO look for prompt service in a facility that calls itself a "resort spa" hotel. In the grand scheme of things, would we return. ABSOLUTELY. Flamingo is just too iconic to pass up.

The property was fine, but the the front desk does not answer the phone - we had a few questions prior to check in on 3/14/24 and called several times with no one answering. I usually stay here every time I come to Santa Rosa. The first night I went to the outdoor hot tub around 8pm. There were no clean towels, at least 8 dirty towels strewn all over the place, and the water level of the hot tub was so low that the jets didn’t work and the water was too low to reach the filter. I had to go to the front desk freezing and sopping wet to ask for towels and to let the front desk know the condition of the hot tub. He didn’t seem interested and offered me a towel. Then, I did not sleep because the guests room next to me would exit and enter their room, slamming the door, on the hour, until 5am to smoke cigarettes, right outside the door. which made my room stink like an ashtray. The resort was good about switching my room the next morning, and offering me a refund for the resort fee that night, but I didn’t get it yet since I booked through a third party, expedia. The next day I went to the hot tub inside the Mendocino sports club which is a part of the resort. There were huge skin chunks in the hot tub. Also, I booked an ADA accessible room to accommodate to my disability. There were zero electrical outlets near the bed in either room, so if I had a cpap machine, that would have been difficult. But it required me to get in and out of bed several times to check and answer my cell phone, which was challenging, totally defeated the whole purpose of booking an ADA accessible room. Couldn’t use my pad. For the amount of money, I am so disappointed.

Poor noise wall insulation therefore noice inside the rooms from outside. Reception area often has only one person assisting clients so people have to wait in line for long periods. Checkout time is too early otherwise you have to pay a penalty and even when you do you still get locked out of your room and have to spend time at the reception having to reprogram your card key.

Cute place, staff seemed unhelpful, and rude to be honest. My room was surrounded by hallways and so loud it was impossible to relax and enjoy myself. The adjacent room had a few barking dogs they left unattended all evening, mind you I’m trying to rest because it’s nye and I’m there for a party that night. I called the front desk but the dogs never ceased to stop barking. I orders food from DoorDash and I didnt know they couldn’t bring it to my room and they called for me to come get it at the front desk, I couldn’t. I’m diabetic and was about to pass out from low blood sugar and the front desk was quite far from my room. So DoorDash didn’t end up delivering to me, I had subsist on an energy bar and a candy bar, so I felt sick from low blood sugar all night and couldn’t really relax or enjoy myself And the DoorDash wouldn’t refund me the $40 something dollars I spent. And I couldn’t reorder be as I was broke from the unexpected $100 deposit on the room. Which was I was told I would get back upon check out, but it ended up taking 17 days. Parking was not good either. Bed and coffee in room was good though.

The hotel added on almost $100 in charges for parking, the pool and gym. We didn’t use the gym and it’s January so we didn’t go near the pool. They’ve also remodeled the rooms so the floors are cement, they replaced chairs with stools. We won’t stay here again.

My friends and I stayed here for a girls birthday weekend. The staff was nice and the spirit of the flamingo was awesome. However, there were people partying all night long, i called the front desk and they said they would send a maintenance person. I guess they never came. At 7am, I myself went to the hallway and told them to shut it down. 7:30am still going strong. Needless to say that my friends and I got no sleep. I mentioned to the front desk and got a oh we will notify the staff. No note of my call. In my opinion our stay should have been discounted or a round of drinks or something to make up for our lack of sleep. Seriously the noise was out of control. Otherwise we loved the hotel grounds and the theme.

This was a fun property with a retro 50’s vibe. Great food for dinner (although I was disappointed at the limited variety for “brunch”, but the food we got was good). Fun bar with live music. I’d go back

Absolutely loved this property! Beautiful updated rooms. Beautiful pool area. Very nice restaurant and bar with a wonderful outdoor area with heaters and fire pits. Very happy with my stay! And I plan to come back!
