The receptionist was extremely unfriendly; when I asked to speak with the manager he pretended that the manager was in a meeting; afterwards, Also, the valet parking was not at all helpful when I asked to charge my electric car.I checked out after only one night and went to the Lavender Inn which was cheaper and people whrere welcoming and friendly.

Das Hotelzimmer und auch der Aussenberwich waren sehr schön und sauber. Das Personal an der Reception war sehr unfreundlich, die Angwstellten für das Parkieren der Autos waren freundlich.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat für uns nicht gepasst. Das Zimmer war gut eingerichtet mit Kühlschrank und Safe aber keine Mikrowelle. Zudem wird kein Frühstück angeboten. Sehr postitiv ist der kostenlose Fahrradverleih, die Lage und die Poollandschaft.

Lage des Hotels ist top, alles andere eher mäßig. Zimmerreinigung gibt es nur nach Aufforderung, innerhalb der ersten 3 Tage ist es gar nicht vorgesehen. Erst nach massivem Protest und täglicher Erinnerung an der Rezeption wurde diese durchgeführt. Pools klein, aber ok. Bei Einchecken wurde erst ein Zimmer einer niedrigeren Kategorie als das gebuchte gegeben, gebuchtes Zimmer wurde dann nach Protest sofort gegeben. Alles in allem gibt es für den Preis bestimmt Besseres.

The hotel room seemed outdated. When I arrived in my room the fridge and other appliances were not connected. The bathroom shower door seemed to be missing part of the sliding door. It just seemed like I got a room that had not been checked on before provide it to a guest. I loved the location and access to the beach, restaurants, etc. I could really enjoy the seating area outside due to the window and also didnt seem welcoming.

The front desk clerk cancelled one of our two reservations when I told her the other couple couldn't make it. Unfortunately, she cancelled the wrong one and then couldn't do anything about it. We were forced to find a new place to stay. If they make a mistake, they should make it right. Period.

Very disappointing! They had a very good photographer but this in person appears run down and overpriced. The lobby was nice enough but rooms were in rough shape. The furniture looked tired with knicks and dings, small rooms, tiny bathroom with only one shower door so water spilling out during your show. It really needs to be re-plumbed. We ran out of hot water and had water pressure issues. As if that wasn’t bad enough, they price gauge for drinks they sell in a fridge. My husband paid 35 dollars for an individual size bottled margarita. They sell them at the store for 13 dollars! Not worth the money - if you want ocean front there are better options on that street - the harbor inn for starters.

Expensive for what you get. Hotel is very tired. Rooms are tiny, cramped and dark. You can hear people above you very easily. The front desk and valet staff were the best part but I would not recommend this hotel! Parking also very expensive and free at other nearby hotels.

Milo is ocean front and close to everything in Santa Barbara. Our room was fabulous, clean and well maintained property! The staff lacked a bit of initiative in terms of customer service, pe did not offer to help us get the luggage upstairs but otherwise, location alone is perfect!

This is definitely a two star hotel, and the room smells exactly like you would expect a two star hotel to smell. The room I was in was 204. I was right next to the custodial room, and overlooked a parking lot. Like another reviewer said there’s no actual carpet in the room. The shower was tiny. I was taking a walk along the beach right by the hotel early in the morning about 9 AM and the sheriffs department was putting a homeless man in a body bag. Needless to say I don’t love Santa Barbara.

We checked in for 1 night. Mentioned the check-in on Yelp which was supposed to give a feee room upgrade. At checkin they said oh I’m starting to hear that a lot now but that isn’t available. We were put in a room (102) in the far corner down a hallway when they had plenty of rooms available that weren’t in such a bad spot. The housekeepers closet was right next to our room which woke us talking loudly right outside of our door at 7am!

It's a block-long collection of old hotels along Cabrillo Blvd, all brought under one management. It successfully preserves the lovely vibe of the Santa Barbara waterfront and is a walkable distance from the Funk Zone. What it lacks in modern amenities, it makes up with location and vintage charm.
