Nicht ganz so toll, auch wenn das Zimmer ok war
Hier war es wirklich nach dem Motto: Man bekommt, was man bezahlt. Das Hotel und das Zimmer war zwar Sauber und OK, der Zustand des Gebäudes und die Umgebung aber grauenhaft.

Nur zur Übernachtung...
Wir haben das Motel aufgrund des Preises gewählt. Check-In ging relativ schnell, jedoch nicht gerade freundlich. Zimmer war im ersten Stock (über Außentreppe erreichbar) in Richtung Hauptstraße gelegen (leider war es dadurch etwas laut). Das Zimmer an sich war absolut nichts Besonderes, überwiegend sauber und das Bett einigermaßen gemütlich. Die Abluft im Bad war allerdings mehr als laut. In der Gegend gibt es einige Supermärkte und Fast-Food-Restaurants. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Leider wurden am frühen Morgen nach unserer Übernachtung die Hecken und Bäume geschnitten, sodass wir sehr früh durch Motorsägen etc. geweckt wurden. Ich denke, das ist aber die Ausnahme und wir hatten einfach Pech. Check-Out ohne Probleme.

2 day stay, first day had no hot water in the morning to shower. 2nd after I checked out I had a need to stay one more day, requested a lower level room to accommodate a medical need, (person was not to climb stairs post surgery), they were unable to accommodate the request. We requested a a couple extra pillows, to support the person in medical need, was told yes but they never returned with them, when I tried to reach out to the check-in counter there was no one available, had to make due by rolling up the blanket for support. Room was noisy, but expected since it faced the main street. reservation for 2 adults but only had one chair to sit.

Easy public transportation. Quiet. Clean. Fair price. Downside rundown, shabby. Things missing. Patch jobs for repair, unprofessional. Toilet had to hand manipulated every other flush. Remote had to be replaced. No clean towels or trash emptied when requested until following day.

Unbelievably poor experience and management. I was asked to leave after twice reporting what I believe was a pervasive mildew odor that was untenable. Manager/Owners didn’t bother to come up and review/remedy the concern (a health hazard) and refused to accommodate another room in what appeared to be an otherwise (than me) unoccupied property, which they lied about. Substandard lodgings. Beware.

Very minimal room. Heater didn't work well. Slept in my clothes and sweatshirt. Thin, thin, thin blankets and no back up blankets in room, no beside lamps, walls with with paint caulking different colors. Very depressing room to be in.

We sincerely apologize about this experience. But we have provided portable heater to you. Also we are working on paint all the rooms but we have to patch the damage area before we paint. Process got delayed because business is very slow. I hope you understand.

My stay was great
I was a guest at the Budget Inn for a little over a year and the staff was great I had no problems with room or the staff. Once in a while whoever was in the room above could be a problem and the staff would handle it. Overall I had a pleasant experience at the Budget Inn in Redwood City

The bed was good, the shower was hot and the woman managing the property was very helpful. It's not flash but if you have a problem the manager will do her very best to help you. There are a number of food outlets in easy walking distance.

Very happy with this property room was very big and clean. Staff was quick to respond when my key didn’t work for the door I believe this is a family run business and they take good care and making sure that the rooms are adequate uncomfortable.. just be aware there are no coffee pots in the rooms no hairdryers and if you arrive late, there will be no parking but you can park on the street. This is probably the dirtiest room I have ever seen! Actual holes in the bathroom to the ground. The dust and hair on the base moldings was years old. Holes in the walls, no art on the walls but holes where the pictures used to be. The bedding was the worst. I have never had to walk back in and say I can’t stay here and canceled my stay.

It was a very hot day when I arrived at the Budge in 1 1/2 hour before check-in. I had hoped I could check in early but was told that even though the room was ready, I would need to pay a $10.00 early check in fee. I decided against paying the early check in fee and instead used the money on something to eat at a restaurant across the street while waiting for check-in time. It was an unpleasant experience since I have stayed at several other hotel/motels in Redwood City where I have been able to, not only check-in early many times, but also never been asked to pay an early check-in fee. That, along with another negative experience, made it a not-so-pleasant stay.

Quality / safety of the building itself was old, in poor repair, and dangerous. Electrical outlets & appliances in the rooms are in disrepair & dangerous. Building itself is judged to be ' sick ' with no ventilation & probably not up to code. Believe the cleaning staff have done an adequate job of daily cleanliness, but it doesn't make up for the lack of proper quality that remains. Sorry, won't be back under any circumstances.

Basic, Budget, but Good.
The quality is reflected in the price. With this being said, the check in was easy, the room was clean and comfortable. No amenities. Does have wifi. I would stay there, again.

Fully OK for a budget price
Descent for the price. An economy choice we have also made previously. Rather noisy, particularly one night when a very loud compressor worked for a few hours outside the motel. But the establishment could not help that. May return if we visit Stanford again.

The only issue was the toilet paper dispenser had come off the wall and so the paper was on top it the toilet. This is really a maintenance issue and didn’t cause me any problems.
