There was significant renovation occurring that was loud and disruptive and not disclosed on the reservation platform. After checking in, I did not feel safe staying there given the surrounding area, broken windows in units, and construction crews. The majority of units were vacant and in rubble-state surrounding the room. I consider the condition of the property to be false advertising and am requesting a full refund. I decided not to stay there.

The hotel looked nothing like the pictures online. There was no comforter on the bed. Only sheets. And a very uneven mattress. every room was being renovated so there was equipment and white dust everywhere including in our room. Definitely a breathing hazard for people with asthma. There was a giant leak in the shower so we couldn’t even shower after a long day. there was a ton of baby roaches in our room. The elevators were so dinky and rickety so we only took the stairs after going up once in the elevator

Hello Ms.Chaidez, thank you for your feedback. I see you visited us back in February of this year. First, I would like to say I am sorry for your experience you had. Since then, we have completed the renovations on that floor and in that room. We have new bedding and new bathrooms. We have also made sure the elevator is clean and in perfect order. If you come back to this area, I will be happy to book your reservations personally so you may stay in our new rooms and make the stay a much better experience!

It’s good if you just want to stay somewhere cheap. The room was kinda dirty and I was pretty hesitant on using their blanket to go to sleep. The room was simple, it had a fridge and a tv. Just the basics but not exactly my husband and I wanted for our anniversary get away. The staff was really nice and friendly though.

The hotel was clean and close all the San Diego attractions. Sea World is really close and you could walk to it. The price was very nice for the hotel too.

They have tried to upgrade / remodel a bad motel but they haven't lost the bad clientele. I have been clean since rehab in 2008 but the same old hookers and drug dealers I knew in 2006 were still roaming this property. Staff was good but seemed to be friends with them. Bad for me so I left. I spent considerably more to do so.

As many properties experience issues with the residentially challenged we have as well However, since the last 3 years we do our best to make sure we keep people like this of the property. I can assure you that there have been improvements, and we will continue to make them. I hope next time you visit you will see that difference.

This motel is under construction and very noisy and they accuss people of braking the property and I would not stay here it's cheap but when u book a room they don't give you what you booked

Nice and cozy. Have me a summer vacation vibe. Fully renovated, glass-wall shower, clean, well equipped bathroom. Friendly staff. Sea World rollercoasters visible from corridor and room. Power outlet next to the bed only worked when the lights were on so overnight charging of phone was only possible in the other side of the room at the TV stand.

The clerk tried to charge me more than the quoted price, she was rude to my son while he was standing outside smoking a cigarette. The towels were dingy and there was only one working light in the room. Ice is not free, only microwave was in the lobby, fridge had no shelves. Only good difference between 3 years ago is that all the transients are no longer hanging out in the parking lot.

I appreciated that the bed was turned consistently each day for my 5 night stay, however, there were many demerits to this location. On my first night, I witnessed a 5 on 1 assault in the parking lot. NOT a safe area. This place also had horrendous wifi. Not to mention, the lighting and plugs in the room were ridiculous. You could not turn on the lamp next to the bed without turning on the switch for the ceiling lights at the front door. The interior decor was also extremely drab. Furniture appeared decades old (i.e., from the 70s) and there was ZERO art on the walls. Lastly, the hotel itself was seemingly under renovation.

Thank you for your review, I am sorry to hear about your experience I have taking note of these issues and will personally address them. We are still in the process of our renovation with all new case goods being placed into our rooms. Unfortunately, we cannot control an incident that a guest provokes which was the case you are referring to. But we can address as we did and not the guest being assaulted as stated. The guest was removed from the property immediately.

Thank you for your comments, Kylor, I apologize for the issues. Please know that if there are any challenges with the room, we will be happy to move you to another room that will not have any issues. Since your comments, we looked into the Spa and found out the blower was out and replaced immediately. The pool is cleaned every morning. But sometimes we do get debris (leaves etc.) that fall into it. I will inform our crew to keep on eye on this. Thank you again.

Do not come here
This place was lowest of low budget there was no blanket on the bed the pillows were the size of tic tacs. The room I was initially given ac unit didn't work so slept in a freezing cold room with the thinnest blanket made. Also there was construction and 7am every morning they start banging n talking loud. For this hotel to be so close to sea world n mission beach I was highly disappointed and would not recommend

The overall experience was fine, but the property wasn't in the best condition. The room was very small, but was fine for one person. It didn't feel the safest, and I was uneasy being a woman traveling alone. The carpets outside the rooms were covered in mud and had tracks everywhere. I would say the price was a bit much, and for having to have a 100$ deposit too, I think was a lot.

My stay was decent
The jacuzzi was not working for most of the stay. Also the floors outside my place were very dirty and messy. Lastly I did not like the microwave being communal and not in the room.
