Durch die doppelt verglasten Fenster kann man den Verkehrslärm ausschalten, wenn man bei geschlossenem Fenster schlafen kann. Es geht um das Schlafzimmer zur Str. Der Sitz im Höfchen ist nur für 2 Personen. Die Matratzen sind sehr gut, die Zudecken zu warm. Moderne Küche mit allem, was man braucht. Ideal für 2 oder 3 Personen.“

„The Beach Hut is in a great location - really close to the beach, and a short drive from Rye and Hastings. The Hut was in great condition - very clean and the comfortable. The resort has lots to do (we had a lot of fun playing bingo!). Great for a family holiday or short break.“

I understand the furniture has been chosen to fit in with what the owners are trying to achieve with the look of the property However I do have one complaint. Jeani's gorgeous property is light, bright and eclectically quirky - an accurate representation of the Camber/Rye area. We visited for a family celebration with 6 adults, 4 kids and a dog, and the space swallowed us and more. „Having stayed in many places locally this is a great location but numerous issues ruined our stay. Arrival is anything but welcoming with the heating left off and taking in excess of 16 hours to get up to 17 degrees. A log burner is provided but single match we were left blew out on it's way into the stove! The stay was tortuous with a fridge which beeped solidly for the 5 days we were there, largely in unison with a fire alarm whose batteries were running out (unreachable for us). The bathroom ...

„The house was beautifully presented but.There is an overriding smell of damp particularly in the basement and attic bedrooms. There is major work being carried out in the sea defences and the main work storage site is between the house and the beach.Wirk noisily started at 7am. The front door lock really should be replaced. It was a nightmare to open the door from outside“

„Just returned after a long weekend celebrating our daughter’s 30th birthday. We were a party of 9 adults and 3 small children. The house was cosy and plenty big enough for us all. Happily stay there again, although we had to be super vigilant at all times as our grandson is only a year old and already walking, so the stairs and the fireplace were very hazardous to him. I would definitely recommend with older children. We were shown around the lambing sheds by Annie and saw some lambs being born. ...

„Bee cottage is a lovely cosy place, well equipped to stay for even weeks. Located within short walking distance from the centre of Rye, it was starting point of several incredible walks and hikes through the amazing countryside. We’ve all enjoyed the stay and the kids especially loved the video games :-)“

Da Chris und Jenny das Haus auch selber für Urlaube nutzen, fehlt es wirklich an nichts. „Overall a nice property, there is quite abit of furniture in the house. This can be difficult if there is 10 people staying in the house, we had to keep moving stuff around to make surfaces available to use, which made me nervous in case anything got damaged. Really well located and close to the beach. Nicola was a very helpful host and responded quickly to messages“
