Zimmer sehr geräumig, gut eingerichtet, Topper auf den Matratzen - man schläft wirklich gut. Das einzige ist, man kann die Fenster nicht öffnen und ist nur auf die Klimaanlage angewiesen. Es war sehr bedrückend für uns. Der foodmarket statt Frühstück ist eine gute Idee, unsere Tochter,die hier studiert,könnte so ohne Probleme mit ins frühstücken.

Alles war soweit super gewesen. Bis auf das die duschtüren sich nicht richtig geschlossen haben da die linke Tür etwas lose ist und in der Dusche aufm Boden das Silikon schon schwarz ist. Ansonsten war alles super gewesen.

Das Hotel ist sehr nah am Bahnhof (eta 15 Gehminuten), außerdem ist gleich neben dem Hotel eine Einkaufsstraße. Man erhält beim Check-In Coupons zum Frühstücken, da es vor Ort kein richtiges Frühstücksbuffet gibt. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr freundlich und uns hat man immer gefragt, ob wir noch etwas brauchen.

The James was right in the middle of thr City. You can reach it easily by Car or with Public Transport. The room was clean and better than expected . The Staff was always friendly. The only downside ist, that you can't book a breakfast, but there are really good alternatives within 5 minutes Walking. If i will visit Rotterdam again i will choose this Hotel again.

Unser Aufenthalt im The James war einfach perfekt. Unser Zimmer hatte einen tollen Ausblick, war wunderbar ausgestattet und absolut sauber! Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Lage des Hotels könnte nicht besser sein. Alles war in kürzester Zeit zu erreichen.

Sehr gut hat uns das Zimmer gefallen mit dem tollen Blick auf die Stadt. Es war auch größer als gebucht, da wir ein Upgrade bekommen haben. Ein Kühlschrank und eine Kaffeemaschine waren auch erfreulich.

Bestes Bett, Bad, und an sich schöne Aussicht
Habe inzwischen 13 Hotels in Rotterdam bewohnt und verglichen. Dieses Bett und die Bettwäsche waren 10/10, ebenso das Bad. Die von außen nie geputzten Fenster sind tagsüber ok, abends angestrahlt sind sie ein Wehrmutstropfen.

Super Zentrales Hotel wenn man rein kommt riecht es wie bei Rituals, anfangs ganz nett aber auf Dauer schon ein starker Duft, das Zimmer hatte einen großen Flecken an der Wand, der Föhne war leider kaputt. Mini Kühlschrank war zum selber befüllen(sehr gut) Würde wieder hin Fahren.

The pro : i had a large, nicely furnished room and bathroom, with tea & coffee making equipment. Windows unfortunately don‘t open. I walked to the hotel from Rotterdam Central (approx. 1km). Reception bordered on impolite, organizing a taxi is obviously not so common for them these days… You can have netflix in your room, but if you want to watch simple TV you have to make your own channel set-up - I gave it up after few tries…. Breakfast is organized on a „supermarket“ system : you take what you want from the shelfs and then you proceed to payment to a cashier equipment reading the barcodes, you pay with your cc. It takes quite a time for everybody to find out how that works - it‘s not for those in a hurry… On the other hand : during breakfast I encountered the only friendly and helpful employee… Overall : a strange do it yourselves experience

schönes & sauberes zimmer / grosse lounge mit guter verpflegungsmöglichkeit (selbstbedienung 7/24) / parking ca. 50m um die ecke… nur 11.- euro für 24h / gute lage… shopping, sehenswürdigkeiten (hafen, etc.) haben wir alles gut zu fuss erreicht (mit kindern 11 & 13)

Stilvolles, zentral gelegenes Hotel
Modernes, stilvoll eingerichtetes Hotel, freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal, gute Preis/Leistung. The James ist super zentral gelegen, ob zu Fuss, per Tram oder Metro unterwegs, es war perfekt für uns. Anfangs waren wir etwas irritiert, weil wir „mit Frühstück“ buchten, das Hotel jedoch über kein Restaurant verfügt; könnte beim Buchen klarer geschrieben werden. Allerdings gibt es die Möglichkeit einer Selbstverpflegung oder man such sich ein Café / Restaurant in der Nähe - was wir machten und hervorragend, gesund und speziell speisen konnten. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch werden wir wieder im The James absteigen, es hat uns (Eltern mit Teenager) sehr gut gefallen.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in einem Hochhaus. 10 Minuten zu Fuß vom Bahnhof. Viele Restaurants sind ganz in der Nähe. Bekam ein Upgrade auf ein größeres Zimmer. Modern, sauber, schön. Mit Klimaanlage.
