Dieses Hotel ist ein altes Gebäude, aber neu renoviert und innen sehr stylish eingerichtet. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon hinten raus, das war recht ruhig. Alles war top. Die einzige Kritik, die man anbringen könnte: es war kein Kasten da, nur eine Kleiderstange. Da wäre noch ein Regal zB für Jeans, T-Shirts etc. hilfreich gewesen. Und die Kaffeekapseln im Zimmer waren abgezählt, täglich nur 2! Aus dem Zimmer ober uns hat man öfters Schritte gehört, das ist wohl bei alten Häusern so. Das Bett war riesig und sehr bequem, auch das Bad hatte eine angenehme Größe. Die Lage zwischen 2 Strassenbahnlinien war auch OK, 2 Stops vom Hauptbahnhof. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Hotel und sehr zu empfehlen!

Every aspect of our stay was exceptional. The front desk staff were all absolutely wonderful- friendly, kind and helpful. One of the front desk staff, Telma, particularly went out of her way to help us and did so with a constant smile while humming a happy tune. Highest possible recommendation for this awesome hotel.

Staff was very friendly and very accommodating! Nice personal touches with the personalized welcome note in our room and record player with music. Would have rated this higher except there was loud music nearby on several nights which interrupted our sleep.

Great long weekend
This is such a beautiful little hotel. The room was so stylish and a great size. It's also walking distance to a lovely street of shops and restaurants so perfect for a little city break.

One of the best hotels that I’ve stayed at. A very pleasant 4 night stay. Close to trem line. Walking distance to Euromast. The optional breakfasts were excellent.

Overall, great stay!
The hotel is a stylish boutique. It was easy to find and located on a quiet street. It is nearby public transit and a short walk to terrific restaurants. Check-in was fast and friendly. The room was clean and had nice amenities. The biggest issue occured on a Sunday afternoon. Despite extending the stay and reconfirming with front desk that we did not want to be disturbed to sleep in, there were several knocks on the door from staff. When I opened the door, the attitude of the front desk staff was icy, "Did you know check-out is at noon?" And I said, "Yes, and we extended our stay." She responded with a scowl, "When?" And I said Friday (also I had sent a message to the hotel a month prior). I could not fall back asleep after a very tiring day and was upset at the unpleasant and unprofessional exchange and poor attitude of this woman. Would I recommend the stay? Perhaps. I'm undecided whether I would want to return next year.

Gem of a hotel. Room was large and well designed with a quiet back garden. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. If NOTK is taking over the kitchen for the evening when you are there do not hesitate to book a dinner with them. Truly excellent wine and food. Would stay here (and eat at NOTK) every time I visit Rotterdam.

We had a spacious room which was well worth a few extra Euros. Bed was great, and room had a decent sitting area and lots of windows. Staff were great and having free bikes was perfect and we had a nice trip to delft. There are lots of small steps in unit - which was fine for us. Just be aware. An upbeat vibe to the hotel and check out at noon worked well.

Cool and slightly edgy hotel in Rotterdam
This is a nicely styled, quirky hotel slightly out of the tourist areas. My room was excellent with plenty of room for my bicycle, but there is an outdoor storage shed I also used. The staff was very nice and helpful when they could be. Downside was that the hotel does not provide satellite/cable TV, but does provide access to stream from your mobile. This is awkward for most Americans. Excellent value.

Good hotel - terrible breakfast
Very sweet staff and very nice deco in the hotel. The breakfast setup was terrible. Instead of a buffet the hotel offers a very limited selection of breakfast served at the table. Unfortunately it takes way too long. First morning we waited 25 minutes and that was tht tikme we have expected to use on the entire breakfast, so we had to eat in a hurry in order to get to our meetings. Next morning we waited 45 minutes and all orders was wrong.

Hi Jens, thanks for your nice words about our staff and the deco. Unfortunately, you had to wait too long for the breakfast. Last week we had for the first time every day all rooms having breakfast in our lobby. Normally quite some guests having breakfast somewhere else in the city but now everyone came down at the same time and were and wanted breakfast at the same time, so you were unlucky with this. For us also a good moment to see how we should improve these kind of mornings. We didn't choose for a buffet since we can throw a lot away when people having breakfast somewhere else which is quite often the case.. But im very sorry to hear you had a bad start of the day. Hopefully we can make your start of the day better a nice time.
