„We had a great stay at this cabin! My husband and I traveled with our 6 month old baby and our friends who have an 18 month old to New York for the total eclipse, and this rental was a great home base for us during the trip. It had a great location and was only a short drive from Old Forge. The wood stove kept the cabin cozy at night and our hosts were so communicative and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place to other travelers looking for a rustic but cozy cabin experience.“

„Cute little place. Easy check-in and good communication with the host. We were not aware that there would be no towels, so bring your own if you stay here. The front door is weird and three of us pinched our fingers in the door. Also, the water smells a little funny. We had no cell phone service here, but the WiFi worked great.“

„I needed a space to write my dissertation This was a a great place for me to focus. It's truly a cabin in the woods tucked away, but close to the fire department and a gas station. I was a little surprised to see 2 other cabins close by, but no one was there while I stayed. Cabin is equipped with all the things you need to function. I would just say the propane heater fumes were hard for me to deal with. I had to keep the window open a lot Also, the throw blankets had dirt in them. Housekeeping ...

Only complaint was there was just a 1/4th of a toilet paper roll when we arrived and no other TP there for us to use. Caused us to have to make a late night run to get some more. Also, only had one garbage bag for us.“

„We loved the property and once we got sorted out about being able to bring our dogs everything was great. The area is lovely and the fenced yard was a plus. The house was comfortably furnished and well stocked. Eclipse day was cloudy but we were able to get views from the back yard. We used extra days to explore some natural areas, awesome and I got to hang out with both my sons and DIL in a roomy house on a beautiful lake.“
