Perfekte Lage mit super lieben Inhabern
Sehr herzlicher Empfang und Service der Besitzer dieses kleinen Gästehauses in perfekter Lage! Alles, was man gesehen haben muss, ist schnell zu erreichen. Kleine Lokale, Bars und und und in gemütlichen kleinen Gassen. Da man wusste, dass das Zimmer zur Straße zeigt, kann man sich über ein bisschen Lärm der Straßenbahn nicht beschweren. Die fährt aber ja auch nicht durchgehend :) Alles in allem waren wir mehr als zufrieden. Wenn nun die Liebe Inhaberin noch unsere am hektischen Morgen der Abreise vergessenen Sachen nachschickt, gibt‘s nochmal einen extra Pluspunkt :) Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt!!!! Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert, wenn man nicht auf spießige Hotels im Touristenviertel steht :) Und obwohl das Gästehaus ohne Frühstück oder sonstige Verpflegung gebucht wird, gibt es trotzdem jeden Tag Kaffee und kleine Snacks umsonst. Großartig! Sauberes, modernes Bad! Nix zu bemängeln :)

Wie zu Hause gefühlt!
Falls wir nochmal nach Rom kommen sollten, dann auf jeden Fall wieder hierher! Super freundliche Gastgeber, haben uns gleich sehr wohl gefühlt. Beim Einchecken wurden uns Tipps über Rom gegeben. Die Lage ist perfekt, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Die schönen, typischen italienischen Gassen von Trastevere sind direkt vor der Tür. Ich kann das Hotel jedem wärmstens empfehlen.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in Trastevere. Restaurants und Bars liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in Rom kann man von dort fußläufig erreichen. Das Zimmer war sehr ordentlich und sauber, wurde jeden Tag gereinigt und wir wurden herzlich empfangen und mit Tipps ausgestattet. Obwohl wir kein Frühstück gebucht haben, wurde uns als kleine Aufmerksamkeit kleinere Snacks und Kaffee frei zur Verfügung gestellt. Ich würde auf jeden Fall noch einmal dort hinfahren.

Our apartment was very clean and spacious for a family. The kitchen was fully stocked and there truly was space for five to sleep. We could easily walk everywhere and we would happily stay there again if in Rome.

窓から教会が目の前に見え鐘楼の鐘が聞こえてくる。バチカン、コロッセオ、トレビの泉など名所に歩いて15分から30分で行ける。バス、トラム、タクシー乗り場が近い。カフェ、美味しいレストランが周辺にたくさんあって便利。スーパーも近い。部屋は清潔で心地よい。5階のドアの内側にレセプションがある。人がいない時間は、隣の部屋にいるオーナーさんのベルを鳴らしてみよう。親切なオーナーさんが対応してくれる。

I can't say enough good things about the Window on Rome! Luigia is an amazing hostess and the staff are exceptional. Especially the cleaner! It was a convenient location with restaurants galore right outside the door. The apartment is an easy walk to all the sites but if you've already been walking for 12 hours there is a taxi stand about 100m away. This is convenient because the whole taxi system in Rome is very different compared to how it works in North America. I would definately stay here again.

Not a US style chain! What a lovely property. Just across the Tiber in Trastavere. Top floor with beautiful views(hence the name). Bonus rooftop patio with 360o view. Would be wonderful in warmer weather to enjoy coffee or a glass of wine. Generous size room with comfy bed. Well stocked with complimentary coffee/tea and sweet snacks. Very friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to just about everything in Rome you want to see.

The senior couple managing the property are very nice, that is why it is a bit difficult to write this review. We stayed for only one night at this B&B, so I don’t know if my review would be helpful to other travelers. But here it goes… The property is clean, modern, and close to the historical area. But, there is no second B in this B&B. There was no hot water, it was not only I having this experience, as other guests complained about the same issue when I was checking out. I reserved the quadruple room for the extra space, but, the room seemed very small for four persons and not much bigger at all than a regular room by Rome standards. The air conditioner could never get below 26C/78F. which forced us to open the window as the temp. outside was 21C/69F. My room had a window to the street which was very noisy and there must be a hospital near the property as ambulances passed by every 20 min. with their sirens on. Moreover, there is a church with a bell tower in front of the property and everybody knows what bell towers do….

Dear customer,Thank you for the review, even if it was negative, because we can analyze what you reported.You are right, it is not a B&B, in fact it is a Town house accommodation and it is clearly stated several times that breakfast is not included. In any case we provide a free small kit and coffee machine. That day, unfortunately, ACEA which is the water manager of the city of Rome, had a fault and closed the water supply for a couple of hours. During that time there was no water in the whole area. The air conditioner works correctly: the display shows the room temperature, the desired temperature is on the remote controller. If you felt that the air conditioner was not working well, you could have asked for help to the reception so that the problem could have been resolved immediately.Trastevere is a tourist district, full of actractions and that is its charm.Central Rome is full of churches. The windows are double glazed but there certainly cannot be absolute silence. If you are looking for tranquility, the center of Rome cannot be the solution.To conclude, your score does not reflect the high quantity of excellent reviews we receive every day from our customers. You probably did not choose the right structure for your needs. We try to be as clear as possible precisely to avoid situations like yours.

Täydellinen sijainti ja kaunis siisti hotelli.
Hotelli 5. kerroksessa, onneksi siellä oli hissi 😄 Sijainti on loistava! Hyviä ravintoloita ja kävelymatka kaikkialle nähtävyyksiin. Hotelli oli todella siisti ja kaunis. Henkilökunta oli ystävällinen. Vastaanottotiski oli öisin kiinni. Saimme avaimet jotka käyvät kerrostalon ulko-oveen, hotellin oveen, huoneen oveen sekä kytoterassin oveen. Hotellin vieressä/lähellä oli pari ruokakauppaa. Huoneessa oli ilmastointilaite ja siivous joka päivä. Suosittelen ehdottomasti tätä hotellia!

The unit was as represented online and slept 5 conveniently. Nicely updated for an older building with a small but adorable lift/elevator. The small kitchen suited our needs for a two night stay and is located and a very walkable and beautiful area in Trastevere with plenty of restaurant choices, especially Soninno’s across the street for pesto ravioli.

Best Window in Rome
The stay was amazing. We were welcomed with open arms and the hosts were very sweet and accommodating. They even provided a private transfer to the airport for a reasonable price. So clean, modern, and the view was absolutely amazing! They even have a rooftop with a 360 degree view of Rome! I highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

The hotel had a beautiful view of the city, from the rooftop terrace. Provided a little breakfast of snacks and assorted coffee,tea, and jams. The staff was friendly and helpful. The best part was taking the lift!!!

We stayed in the ‘Trastevere’ 2 bed suite, great size for our family of 4 with well equipped kitchen and dining facilities. Comfy beds and powerful shower. Amazing views and great location in walking distance of all the sights. Recommended!

This is a great place to stay because of its location, close to restaurants and transportation to go elsewhere in Rome. It is run by a delightful couple. It was nice having a washing machine. There is no clothes dryer and as we were there when there was some rain, we could not use the rooftop clothes line. Having a kitchenette was nice but we wanted to eat out and taste the local food. The hairdryer was a little tricky.
