„The property is absolutely stunning! There is wildlife galore on the property and you feel like you’re in the middle of the rainforest. We had perfect weather and it was a little cooler but, if it wasn’t, the lack of air conditioning may have been rough! Love love loved this place and so did the whole group. 10/10 would recommend.“

It was well placed for exploring the Arenal area but be aware that the road from Nuevo Arenal is extremely pot holded and the 8 km takes 35 minutes to drive.“

„Our stay at Casa Karon was for 3 nights, sandwiched between our visit to Papagayo and then closer to the coast near San Jose. Seeing Toucans and small parrots and sitting on the bench on the deck overlooking the forest in the morning was my favorite. As in the description told: No AC but not necessary, it's cool during night time. Everything like in the description except the pool. Any private pool available. The predescribed pool isn't at the property but in the neighbours hotelnot far away.“

The food recommendations and ideas that they offer are on point. Please note that you'll certainly have to drive 45 - 75 minutes for most activities in and around the Fortuna area. „Very clean and well equiped house with good beds. The hosts were absolutly friendly and helpful. You should have a rental car, 'cause it's a bit outside of Nuevo Arenal, but with a car it is a very good starting point. We did several trips and nice tours from there. We had a good time at the house and there were fresh fruits and cool drinks for us when we arrived.“

Slightly bizarre with one red floor tile throughout and all kitchen and bathroom units matching. Kitchen sink in each bedroom. Showers good but no hot water in basins.
