We did have a little trouble with the stairs but that was due to the age of my mother not the property. „Spent three nights in early May 2024 in this new house located in a quiet community of new homes. Pristine condition and perfect size for our party of four, in town for a funeral. Within a two mile radius of Lafayette’s main thoroughfares like Ambassador Caffery Pkwy, and Johnston street. We ventured out to nearby restaurants for local delicacies: Lagneaux king of seafood- for crawfish boil, and Don’s seafood- for Gumbo. Some in my party reported scarce toiletries ( Towels, washcloths, etc…) ...

„Looks new and very clean. Uncluttered but surprisingly has everything you need from coffee maker to bath bombs. The owner was very gracious to work with and even suggested places to go for dinner. The town has a young laid-back personality and overall good vibe. The food and bar options within a 5 minute walk are outstanding. We heard the train go by but after a couple times it was no longer distracting. Great deck to sit out in privacy and enjoy the morning newspaper and cup of Joe. Two minute ...

„We enjoyed every moment at the very special Blue House. Being equipped with all modern amenities, it still maintains its antique and historic character. The Downtown area and many good restaurants (we very much liked the “Bon temps Grill’) are in walking distance, so we explored most of the area on foot. Not far away there’s a natural habitat (Lake Martin, where we went on a beautiful swamp tour) and the nice little town of Breaux Bridge, worth being visited. We would definitely stay again at ...

„As advertised. Comfortable with plenty of room in a quiet neighborhood. The pool was a nice addition. It was a little chilly to swim but we had a picnic lunch on the deck. Our daughter and her kids were staying at a nearby RV park and came over several times. Only negative was the playhouse that was in poor condition and maybe a bit unsafe. I would recommend fixing or removing it.“
