Frust total...Da bekommen uns keine 10 Pferde mehr hin...

Our room was five star beautiful room clean wonderful ocean view oceanfront...overall condition of the outside of the property is very poor hardscape needs a lot of work landscaping is marginal bar and bar help are very poor condition garbage cans exposed to the path leading to the most expensive villa on property??limited food choices and limited quality of food is poor...property has a potential to be a five-star property and it is not living up to its potential would not recommend it until significant changes are madeday make some changes

Had an amazing stay at this property. We had the 2x bedroom beachfront villa that had a private pool. It was absolutely amazing having the view of the ocean from the room, verandah and the private pool. Breakfast option was adequate and even on arrival they were generous to provide us complimentary breakfast as we arrived a little earlier than check-in. The restaurant was also great - we had the seafood buffet along with live entertainment. The beach was beautiful but a little rocky and shallow to go snorkelling. You’ll need aqua shoes and go out far from shore to enjoy the snorkelling. Overall, had a great time at this hotel and highly recommend!

This is a beautiful resort with bungalow's right on the beach. The beach is beautiful and the reef area is an amazing experience. The bungalow was big and very pleasant. Wifi in the bungalow's was awful, spotty, slow, and would drop in and out. Think 90's wifi. AC in the bungalow was great, but they don't heat well at night.

1st time in Rarotonga and Crown Beach Spa Resort made it extra special, staff are friendly and accommodating, the facilities are AAA and the food is top of the line. The Island night is a must do while you are there. Loved it and will be definitely returning.

My wife and I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the Resort, Lucky and Ruby were simple the best and the beautiful lady who looked after our housekeeping matters was terrific. A major downside for us was the slow turnaround by the kitchen staff. One hour and 35 minutes for a simple Pizza is not good enough. On another occasion we waited some 45 minutes for 3 identical entrees because that is all be wanted to eat Another couple sitting with us simple gave up and walked out. The Thursday evening dinner and show was the high light of our stay

Fantasic Villas - roomy, clean, air conditioned and comfy beds. The resort is well maintained. Fantastic location - walk straight onto the beach. The restaurant has lovely meals. I recently stayed at Crown Beach Resort and was disappointed with my experience. The Expedia website had advertised two bathrooms for my five night stay but when I arrived they can only offer a one bedroom villa. The website mentioned two restaurants, but one of these facilities were closed for renovations without any prior notice. Additionally, the staff had a do-nothing attitude towards the issues I faced during my stay. I had complained about the wrong info of my room at arrival and they promised me to give me an answer to it, but no action was taken to resolve the issue through my email complaint after the trip. Furthermore, the room itself was not up to the standard I expected from a resort. It was outdated and some amenities are out of order eg bin and toilet seat, which added to my disappointment. Overall, I would not recommend Crown Beach Resort to anyone due to their misleading information and their lack of concern for the comfort and satisfaction of their guests."

Great room with private pool. A decent amount of the hotel staff don't really care too much about their job. The bar staff in particular. Your big lad on reception with the hair needs some customer service training urgently. We arrived early and expected to just leave our bags at reception & check in later. All we got was "check in is at 2pm". We had to ask if it was possible to leave out bags & come back later. A seriously terrible first impression of your resort. I had breakfast at 7:30am one morning on a table closest to the beach. Someone had discarded a wet wipe in the middle of the path leading out onto the beach and was in clear site. At 10am it was still there!! The shorter lady who was behind the bar most mornings did NOTHING unless she was asked. Super lazy and not what we expected from your 4.5 star rating. We experienced this lack of service from her for the entire 5 days we stayed with you. She seemed to just stare into the computer screen behind the bar endlessly leaving dirty dishes & glasses for long periods until one of your other staff collected them. You seriously need to have a chat with her as she clearly doesn't want to work for you. Mold all around the pool in our room as well as a little disappointing. Room 31

A special place, easy to recommend!
I would strongly recommend the Crown Beach Resort. The staff were the highlight, along with the setting. We enjoyed the sunsets (along with the reasonably priced happy hour cocktails) and nearly daily view of whales. Food was nice, and also reasonably priced. Some excellent restaurants not far away (i.e., walking distance). Appreciated the adults only nature, sitting by the pool in the afternoon, and some swimming in the lagoon immediately beside the resort. The resort location was not as exciting for snorkeling, but a short public push ride south was easy to do, and that was an excellent location for that. Our unit looked a little dated, but very well maintained, very comfortable, and very large. We stayed a week, and would have been happy to stay longer if we could have.

Absolutely perfect for honeymoon. Nice and relaxed with a beautiful beachfront area. The splash pool was delightful on hot days in such a private walled area.

Beachfront villa was nice enough, spacious. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful. Massage was great. Maintenance and cleaning good enough. Cultural night fun but buffet not a patch on the Edgewater’s last June. Resort very overpriced for the standard. Apart from the Villa that housed us well, overall it was disappointing. We cancelled the 2nd part of our holiday and booked in elsewhere. Food and breakfast very average (bacon once in 7 days). Bland and limited variety. Cooking not cheffing. Pool okay. Dirty sun beds need re-painting and too few. Beach not very usable. Simple to fix as they have done at other nearby resorts. Rocks/coral & foliage need clearing and sand raked. 3 sun beds only for use on beach and always taken so nothing to sit on. It is supposed to be a beach resort. Can’t understand why they didn’t sort all this during lockdown, ready for opening up.

This is our third stay at the Crown Beach resort and spa. Our initial suite we were taken too was by far below the standard we had come to associate with the Crown Beach resort. The initial suite we were given was not suitable for guests. The pool was full of insects, the garden was unkept and the bathroom and toilet were still unclean. When flushing the toilet the water was black. There was also an Ant problem with large ants outside and inside the suite. Contacting the front desk and asking for another room as we advised about the shortcomings of the room. Instead of offering another suite suitable, they sent the maintenance crew to try and rectify the room. Upon arrival, the maintenance team advised they will speak to the reception area as the room was not ready for guests. This took over 2 hours to complete. on 18th Feb, we were placed in forced quarantine. For 3 days we were left with no clean linen, no laundry services or any other services which we pay for. upon exit, our refund was undercalculated with the amount received being far smaller than what we paid. While isolating, the GM tried to placate our stay with a gift of cheap wine and a magazine for attractions to visit on the island.... WE WERE ISOLATING which was insensitive and frankly an insult. Overpriced for what you get in terms of quality and service provided. The ONLY saving grace was the hand-full of staff that have remained from previous stays. Very disappointed guests.

Property and service was great, food poor. My wife and I have been going to Rarotonga for the last ten years and the food on the Island has been steadily improving. Unfortunately the food at the Crown is still where it was 10 years ago.

So when we stayed here 5 Years ago it was a beautiful well Maintained resort, we ordered the Courtyard Pool Suite again and I was less than impressed with how run down these have got, including the gardens and also the general upkeep of maintenance in the Suite itself, it is so tired. For the price you pay to stay in these suites is out the gate. Also I coul never use the guest laundry after informing reception to let me know when it would be available, resort washing of towels ect. was always being done, ended up hand washing our clothes in the suite. Positive was the Bar & Restaurant staff they were awesome. This resort needs some work.
