Great hostel, central, quiet, privacy also in dorm
Liked the beds with curtains and boards for stuff a lot, even though the room itself was small, it gave a sense of privacy and it was possibe to not disturb others while reading. Big boxes underneath the beds to lock stuff, nice kitchen and central rooms, clean showers. Maybe a bit more toilets would be helpful (could be I jist didn‘t find them!). Location quiet but very near to QT center. All good, liked staying there.

Super Lage. Super Ausstattung. An Sauberkeit hab ich noch kein besseres Hostel gefunden. Bei nächsten Besuch, komm ich wieder vorbei!!!

Was not the best place I ever was. They have just four small carparking places in front of the hotel, but many more beds. So mostly, all spots were full. And to park somewhere else in Queenstown is quite expensive! My room had a large window directly to the parking places. So everyone could have a look inside my room. Not so nice. Room was also very small, just the bed and one chair inside. Quite disappointing. Bathroom was not very clean. There was to much wather on the floor, so my socks got wet. All in all, not my favorite place to stay while travelling through NZ.

Schönes Backpacker Nahe des Zentrums. Die Bäder hätten sauberer sein können - einige Gäste haben leider abends ein ziemliches Schlachtfeld hinterlassen. Die Doppelzimmer sind recht klein.

Glad you enjoyed your stay with us! We aim to check the bathroom facilities 3 times per day so I'm sorry to hear that they were not up to scratch. Some of our economy double rooms are a little on the small side but we hope you found them value for money, & we are thinking of ways to add a little extra storage space. Safe travels!

Klein und fein!
Wir haben zwei Nächte in der kleinen aber feinen Lodge verbracht und es hat uns ausgezeichnet gefallen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, das WLAN gut und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend.

Zimmer zu teuer
Ich hatte ein privates Zimmer mit shared bathroom gebucht, fuer 53€ . Das Zimmer bestand aus einem Bett, einem winzig kleinem Nachttischchen und einem Sessel. Das wars. Keinerlei Ablagemoeglichkeit. Ich hatte nur eine Zwischenuebernachtung, daher gings. Wuerde hier aber nicht laenger bleiben wollen. Ich finde das das Zimmer einfach zu teuer, da nuetzt dann die farbenfrohe Bettwaesche und schoene Bilder an der Wand auch nichts. Habe fuer das selbe Geld in Neuseeland deutlich geraeumiger und komfortabler gewohnt. Auch in den Waschraeumen mangelte es an Ablagemoeglichkeiten.

Top Hostel in guter Lage
Offenbar ist das Hostel noch recht neu, oder renoviert. Das Zimmer was wir hatten war sehr schön. Insgesamt war das Hostel sehr sauber! Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich! Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

It was very difficult to find the lodge as there has been construction around. Took us 20 mins to find that place at night. When we got in, we spent another 30 mins trying to figure out why our power points aren’t working. We tried ringing night shift manager and it goes straight into the mail box? We were exhausted at the time and just wanted to relax and CHARGE our phone!!! Turns out the main switch on the switchboard WAS NOT turned on… HOW COULD A GUEST KNOW THIS??? The bathroom. Again, shower does not work. We did not take a shower that night!! On top of that when we got into bed. Bedsheet has the previous customers hair!!! HOW GROSS. THEY DID NOT EVEN CHANGE THE BEDSHEET! I’ve never left a bad review. This is my first time and I will never go back again. The only good thing about the place is. Easy location. Very central.

I didn’t realise check in was until 6pm was stressing out that we wouldn’t be able to get in because we were travelling over, my cousin was in Queenstown and she called them up got everything sorted and gave us the key and everything was absolutely perfect so thankful for that. The stay was awesome perfect sized room for me and my friend nice and tidy, really comfortable and staff in the morning were super friendly!! Definitely recommend staying here

Great place to stay if you are looking for cheap and quiet accomodation within Queenstown . The facilities are great, have more than 4 toilets and showers, 2 kitchens and a lounge room. Staff are nice and helpful, security is ok, cleanliness is good- staff always vaccuum floor, clean kitchens and toilets. The only problem is noise insulation, I can always hear moving noise from other lodgers while sleeping. Generally deserves 4.8 out of 5 stars in my opinion.

The stay was completely no fuss. Good view over the town and walking distance to all local attractions. TV ( only free to air - but, you don't go there for the TV) Heat pump in the room - all you need.

Cheap and central
Good place which is very central to most things around Queenstown. Everything look very clean just the bed was a little bit uncomfortable. All in all I would consider staying there again

Decent and cozy
The room was clean and surprisingly cool even during a very hot day. However, there's a distinct smell in the room - smells like sweaty shirt. The bathroom is very clean and the towels are fresh. For sure it's not a luxury hotel but it's bang on for its price.

Good and bad
The location is great and the facilities good too. The manager was friendly and helpful but that was it.. the staff didn't seemed interested when I tried to clarify things. I stayed in a six bed dorm... It wasn't big enough for six people. It should really only be a 4 bed. Only 2 people could be on the floor at once and that was a squeeze.

Stayed in 6 bed mixed room for 4 nights. I requested a lower bunk due to hurting my back which was granted but after having to really make a case over a telephone call, almost beg and assure them i wasn't lying. The allocated bed had a curtain with white stains a bit like sick or something so I took another bed. The bed I took had hairs on the black duvet cover and also the curtain rail hooks had come off. I asked reception to rectify which they did. Lady at check in was friendly and apologised. As we had window open in room to avoid smells I was cold and next morning asked another reception lady for a blanket to which they said I could use the communal lounging blankets. I asked when if it was clean and said once a week. I decided not to take one due to hygiene reasons and the receptionist offered no other alternative to assist me to feel comfortable and not cold. Asked the same receptionist for bus times for arrow town and was misinformed. The bed locker lock was damaged although working, but had to be pushed hard into place to lock and made noise. Personally I found bed and bedding uncomfortable. The bathrooms were clean with good shower pressure. Bathrooms on ground floor smelled of damp. Bathroom on first floor near lounge didn't. Kitchen was clean other than food storage boxes being dirty and mouldy, male staff washed one for me to use. Lounge looked comfortable. Nice outdoor seating. Two staff helpful, two not. It's ok for somewhere to sleep in expensive Queenstown

We had been receiving lower bunk requests from you from the time you made your booking almost 6 months prior, we had informed you then that whilst we cannot guarantee it, we would do our best. The lounge blankets were cleaned on the day you asked us for one. I apologise for the curtain rail and curtain not being to standard, these have since been fixed. Our staff are always happy to help, and we would never give incorrect information on purpose, unfortunately this time, the information given was inaccurate. I hope you enjoy the rest of your travels. The property was great. Staff was nice and accommodating. Everything was clean, the bunks were private and had curtains. The only thing was that there was no dish soap in the kitchen. Could have been an over site. Overall a lovely hostel.
