The drinks were very weak and I believe their alcohol was watered down. Our A/C didn’t work and it was hot. We reported it frequently. They arranged a dinner to make up for it. When we arrived it wasn’t ready and had to wait 20 minutes. I did like it was my birthday and they had a banner on the door.

Great vacation celebrating our anniversary. Weather was amazing with a nice breeze. Staff was super friendly. Entertainment by pool all day and night shows were fun. Our Butler Billy Joel was great. He made sure we were happy and having a great time. He made our anniversary so special. Restaurants were great also. A lot of choices. The Diamond Club lounge staff were also very pleasant. We would love to return again soon. We recommend this hotel Royalton CHIC to anyone who is looking to relax and have a good time. Rooms are very modern and clean. We were in a diamond club presidential suite and it was very nice and roomy with two balconies. The grounds are beautiful and hotel is just the right size. Rooms were close to restaurants, pools and beach which was nice. Had a wonderful stay at the Royalton CHIC. Will return soon.

I spent 4 nights at this property and was completely disappointed. Paid for a private dinner and was served spoiled lobster!! The head chef came out to smell it and said “it’s not that bad”! I was in complete shock. The resort manager did not want to reimburse for the cost of now a ruined dinner and instead served us food from a restaurant that we could have eaten from for free. The entire trip was a blow. We paid for a presidential suit with balcony. The balcony was facing the back of the building with no view of anything. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone. A complete waste of money.

The resort was great and all of the staff was great. We were Dimond Club guest that came with a butler. Our bulter Gabriel was Great he absolutely made everything easy and made sure we didn't go without. Made all of our reservations and checked in on us often both in person and text. Definitely above and beyond.

Very slippery floors due to the humidity. Mold was found on our mattress. But over all a nice resort. The staff are friendly funny and accommodating. The housekeeping staff are amazing. Our room always smelled fresh and was very clean. We did encounter a bartender who was rude to my husband and I. But the bartender Torres was fantastic and made the best drinks! Angel was our butler and kept us informed and made dinner reservations for us. He was also kind enough to send a birthday cake to celebrate my birthday. The concierge made sure we always had what we needed and were very professional. The sports bar has awesome food and great music. I would just suggest putting AC in the sports bar. Although we had fun we were extremely hot. They will try to sell you a promotion and the heavy white guy with the blue suede shoes was nice at first but was kind of rude when we didn’t accept his offer. We probably won’t be back but we would like to Thank the Royalton Chic for their hospitality.

Marie would be the only reason I return if I came back. She was absolutely amazing and attentive! She welcomed us with a smile and kind words every day ALL day!! It was a blessing to have her as our butler! The room AC did mess up a lot so we were hot at night and the sheets were damp every day. The food was always cold except at Munchies. Munchies and diamond club area were the only good places to eat. Everything else was not well prepared or seasoned.

This was by far the worst place i stayed. Wish for better had high hopes. I read reviews having this place pretty high did not jave the same experience. Food was not good at all pretty sure my stomach issues forntqo days in a row was food poisoning. The staff is real pushy about upgrading to diamond service qhich is real.annoying to me. The pool had scum visibly floating in it wvery day. Now for the good the pool attendants the ladies gwtting drinks and such were awesome. They dont clean room everyday unless specifically ask for it which is weird to me.

Food very limited and boring Diamond club constantly being required for amenities. Staff always harassing you to be a diamond club member or fill out surveys and selling excursions A lot of begging on beach and if you go off property Tv connections are always in and out in several rooms booked Several Bartenders were very rude and ignored you standing there for a drink. Beach equipment for non water sports was non existent No in room bar Scum floating in pool along with food and no one was ever scene cleaning the pool even at night or early. Requested area clean up and never saw anyone

This vacation was our fourth stay in a Royalton Dimond Club resort Let's start with the DC check-in. The experience was slightly disappointing. We had to wait in line and our room was not ready upon arrival. This, despite the fact that the Guest team enquired about our arrival time the day before. This being said, we must emphasize on the staff at the Royalton Chic. Everybody was amazingly friendly and attentive. Whomever we came across with made sure we got everything we needed. Our butler, Garlier was perfect and he went beyond our expectations! He was very devoted! The main pool was crowded and noisy. We spent our days at the Diamond club beach area. The staff there was also very nice. A special mention to Olvil, German, Firmin and all the team. The Diamond club pool, sitting on a rooftop, next to the main pool looks dated and would need some love and care. The resort being very small, we didn't feel the exclusiveness of a Dimond club client, compared to other Royalton resorts we went to. The food at the buffet was very good and offered variety. Special thanks to Kelvin, Maicol and all the staff there. The food at the 4 restaurants à la carte was also very good but the experience was not up to our expectations: too noisy and that felt like a cafeteria ambiance (except for the Indian one). Overall nice vacation. We would say that Royalton Chic is a party resort for groups. The staff makes the resort more than the property.

I was skeptical because I’ve had bad experiences at resorts but I can’t express enough how friendly and helpful the staff was from the front seat to check in Pedro was amazing and so were the guys out front made us feel very welcomed. I will be returning to the resort and any of the sister resorts . The food and restaurants were amazing I could keep on going. Only thing I didn’t like was how short of time we stayed. Thank you guys for making our vacation amazing.

Several delays with service. Initial things that we asked for were not done, which dampened the experience (birthday celebration.) Communicating through whatsapp was slighty inconvenient also. You do not have a Butler around the clock so after hours not much gets done. Things really get quiet by 10pm. Diamond club was decent, probably not worth what we payed to upgrade. Food was ok. Construction going on, so pretty noisy in the morning. The beach was beautiful however, and the weather was amazing.

Our butler Junior was wonderful. Most of the bartenders are friendly and a joy to talk to. The room was very clean and the poolside staff wonderful. The diamond club beach staff were awesome. The steakhouse staff were not friendly or attentive and the room was too loud and noisy. The food overall was average. The evening show schedule changed last minute so packing according to the online schedule didn’t work. The nighttime DJ yelled and played the same music at the pool. Way too loud!! Loved the live band that played 80s rock, disliked the silent disco with headphones…no vibe or energy. The daytime activities could be more plentiful. The spa was fantastic. Loved my message and hydrotherapy. Long drive from the airport so a private transport was pricey. Met a lot of nice people.
