A great holiday in a lovely resort, fun and relax, outstanding staff, greatest service ever, beginning at the check-in, Blanca is doing a great job, the housekeepers, the bartenders and all the other friendly service people. The beverages and the food are high quality. Great shows at night, we will come back for sure.

Nicht berauschend
Wir waren vorher im Pearl - der Vergleich fällt daher negativ für das Rivera aus. Die Zimmer wirkten ein wenig abgewohnt .Hatten eine Passionsvilla - Whirlpool funktionierte erst nach Reparatur. Die Badewanne war nicht benutzbar - da das Wasser permanent ablief. Das Jazucci ist viel zu klein - am Pool großes Gedränge. Die Vergabe die Poolliegen hängt nur vom Trinkgeld ab . Hier werden große US Dollar Tips gefordert , sonst ist die Liege nach kurzer Abwesenheit weg. (mafiös) Der Strand ist sehr schmal und sehr viel Seegras. Das Personal ist großteils bemüht. Der Transport zum Airport fiel aus - weil wir nicht rechtzeitig die Flugnummer bekanntgaben. Publikum bei weitem nicht so viel Niveau wie im Pearl.

tolles Hotel für Paare mit Toleranz
Lage ausgezeichnet; Strand sehr sauber, feiner Sandstrand, keine Steine. Beachbetten einfach super und einmalig. Bedienung hervorragend, sehr freundlich; excellenter Getränkeservice auch am Strand und am Pool. Essen sehr gut, von bester Qualität., dem Hotelniveau absolut entsprechend. Zimmer immer sehr sauber; Anlage sehr gepflegt, FKK-Anlage. Kleidung optional. Immer freie ungezwungene Atmosphäre. Das Niveau der Gäste als tendenziell hoch einzustufen, im allgemeinen saubere gepflegte niveauvolle Leute. S. Aktivität neben der Disco ab 22.30 Uhr möglich, am Whirlpool unter freiem Himmel bei Beachbetten ab 13 Uhr. S. Aktivität meist unter Paaren, immer niveauvoll, keine Spinner -- . Da das Hotel teilweise aus Swingerhotel betrachtet wird, ein Wort dazu: Es wurde in Einzelfällen S. zu viert beobachtet, aber immer stilvoll. Den Anteil an Swingern würde ich schätzungsweise mit 20-30% bezeichnen. Wir selber sind keine Swinger, deshalb ist folgende Beurteilung mit Vorsicht zu werten: Wer an das Hotel fährt in der Absicht, Swinger kennenzulernen, könnte enttäuscht sein, denn nach unserer Beobachtung waren im wesentlichen schon vorab bekannte Pärchen zugegen und eher keine/sehr wenige, die ggf auf Swingersuche waren.

Tolles Hotel für Life Style Paare
Die Zimmer könnten langsam mal renoviert werden, Ansonsten gab es überhaupt nichts auszusetzen. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und zu keiner Zeit aufdringlich. Essen ausgezeichnet. Bespaßung am Pool vorhanden, wers mag, wer nicht wird in Ruhe gelassen. Musik und Unterhaltung am Abend super. Musik in der Disco könnte sich evtl. ein wenig mehr an der Altergruppe 40 - 60 J anpassen.

Atmosphere has changed, could be good or bad depending on personal preference. The new addition has added extra capacity and the interactions with staff which we loved have deteriorated considerably because they are taxed for time and energy. Good luck to the property, we won’t be returning any time soon.

Our suite in the new Eden area was wonderful! All the new areas of the resort are excellent and a welcome addition! The resort needed some renovation, and the new areas are spacious and decorated well. The jacuzzi area is nice and big, MUCH better than the old space. Overall the resort is clean, and well maintained. The staff does a great job- from the service at bars and restaurants, the playmakers, the housekeepers, butlers, and front desk staff- good people and well trained. We appreciated the action during the day at the pool and at the bar and disco at night, but the best thing is- you can go to your room and it is quiet:) We also really appreciate the quick check-in and check-out AND not being bombarded (at all) about buying a membership. Well done DRM, we'll be back again!

We did like our stay, just were not "wow'd" enough for the amount paid. Thankfully we got an upgrade (btw - elevator was broken) into a room in Eden, which was very nice, but without it I would've felt very disappointed with garden unit for $1K/night. New entrance/lobby is not impressive, weird "naked"/not decorated, drop off circle on the hill... The absolute best part of this establishment are the employees, all of them, from gardener to concierge, to cooks, cleaning people and servers, literally all workers are very nice and attentive, they create very comfortable atmosphere. Food is great, drinks - not so much, while the liquor variety is good, the mixes and juices used are poor quality. Separately about the disco club. Not sure if its done purposely, but the music gets very very bad around 12.30am and then club is completely cleared by 1am. Huge disappointment. Really a dealbreaker. Now, "playroom" at the disco is another disaster, whoever designed it and didn't prioritize upgrading it in years, has very little understanding of what "lifestyle" is. Having many available and unused spaces on property, they should definitely convert those into various playrooms. Overall the resort has a disjointed feeling.

The staff are special people. They went above and beyond to make sure that you felt at home. There was construction going on and we lost power and hot water a few times. However, the staff were wonderful in up for it. Some staff have been there over 15 years and they remember your name and what your likes/dislikes are. That is special for us.

The service from staff is amazing …above and beyond. The private dinner on the beach was so delicious and elegant. Amazing music selection at dinner and parties We were told of a room upgrade that didn’t happen. The spa is a little pricy …same as in us…alcohol selection is also expensive then in US. Good wine selection.

Desire es un lugar de sueños, donde he vivido experiencias increibles, una vez más esto se ha cumplido gracias al personal que ahí labora, a la actitud de los huéspedes y a esa necesidad que tenemos todos de saber quiénes seríamos si pudiéramos dar rienda suelta a nuestras fantasías. Quien no conoce Desire tendría que conocerlo y darse esta experiencia una vez en la vida, tal vez este sería un nuevo comienzo para esas personas. La comida fue muy cuidada para mi que no puedo comer comidas condimentadas y eso lo agradezco. Si de algo he de quejarme es de que se han contratado personas nuevas que a veces están algo lejos de dar el servicio que nos tenía acostumbrados este lugar, tal vez eso fue lo único incomodo entre mis experiencias, por lo demás claro que volvería.
