Nice hostel, friendly staff
Hostel is about 10 minutes from Port and large supermarket. A mini market is 2 minutes away. The hostel and rooms are ok, but have seen better times. Furniture, rooms, bathroom are very old and there could be more light / lamps. Windows and doors do not seal, so air condition needs to run constantly to cool down the room. We had a deluxe room with lots of space.

The location is perfect if you want to go to Tortuga Bay, Laguna Las Monjas. There are several restaurants very close and the boardwalk is about a 7-minute walk away. You have tea and coffee 24/7.

The Hotel is small and very beautiful It was done tastefully. There is an empty lot at the corner which is bad, it is in the market area of Puerto Ayora... a place for those who wish the local flavor of the local people. It is not in the touristic zone. It is seven blocks from the Port and about 30 blocks from the small beaches ... there are many travel agencies where they sell tours... most of the guests are very nice people from Ecuador with small children. Noisy for adults... there is a very nice swiming pool and the kids play there until 7pm. The receptionists are very nice and helpful... The staff in the kitchen is not well trained... the Breakfast is good for eggs and coffee.... and the bread they do not have a toaster... not good. Sorry but details matter... Nice huge tv... good ac machines... I would recommend it for young people ... stairs are high.... with children and again to be with the nice Ecuadorean people, The towels and linen are good... rooms ok... shower good... soap available...many electical outlets... I love plants and this place has beautiful plants handled with love

El hostal es apropiado para ir a dormir, cuenta con lo necesario (A/A, agua caliente, camas cómodas, ropa blanca apropiada); la ubicación es buena, esta en la calle Baltra que hay muchos locales para adquirir medicinas, pan, etc...; tambien esta cerca de Tortuga Bay. En lo que hay que mejora del hostal, la presion del agua del lavadero del banio (parecia danado) pero cumplia su fincion; lastimosamente habia una construccion junto al hostal y hacia bulla en la noche inclusive, pero luego de un dia largo de actividades, uno llega cansado y a dormir sin que esta bulla moleste mucho; si deben mejorar un poco en la atencion, no esperar que uno solicite algo, si no, abordar y preguntar como estan o que necesitan...

Clean and spacious. We liked the upper deck. It was a nice spot to hang out at sunset. There are stalls nearby called the kiosks after 6 pm that sell fresh empanadas that are delicious.

Personalen var aldrig i receptionen. Talade inte engelska, men försökte inte heller hjälpa så mycket i kommunikationen. Myror på rummet och stenhårda kuddar. Städningen var bra, varmt vatten och ett fint rum i övrigt. Skulle välja ett annat i första hand.

Staff was friendly and helpful and was a good location. They cleaned the room every day but There were a lot of ants in the room, the shower made the whole bathroom wet. The air conditioners were leaking outside so there was big puddles on the floor and I could hear it dripping all night. The room was also very damp smelling and humid so they would open the windows but there were no safes and it would be easy for another guest to climb in, so we had to ask them to leave it closed via google translate since no one spoke English

The owner, Kenya and the manager, Jennifer, are lovely, hospitable people. We are a family of 4-we had a spacious room with 2 queen beds which were very comfortable. We enjoyed the inner courtyard with the small pool. There was coffee, hot water for tea and filtered water in the lobby. Wifi was unpredictable as it is everywhere in the Galapagos. We especially loved the location. Very easy and pleasant stroll to the main port area, but far enough away to be quiet. Right in the heart of it gets very noisy at night as each restaurant is playing loud music. Several good restaurants and shops literally around the corner. Jennifer was very helpful in booking our ferry and helping us plan excursions. I forgot my sandals in the room and Kenya asked a friend to drop them off at our hotel on Isla San Cristobal. I highly recommend staying here, I would stay again.

Por este medio hice reserva y contenía pago incluido impuestos más desayunos, pero cuando llegue me indicaron que era error en el módulo que reserve y no me dieron ni factura ni desayuno me parece una falta de seriedad tanto del hostal como de la página hotels.com yo hice la reserva y pago por esos servicios

Lamentamos que el proceso de su reserva no haya sido muy claro para usted, en las distintas aplicaciones tenemos diferentes tarifas que seleccionan finamente el cliente, en la información general dice que el hotel tiene servicio de desayuno, pero antes de concretar su reserva se les brinda las opciones y terminan eligiendo según su presupuesto lo que es mas conveniente; en el caso de usted, seleccionó una tarifa que no incluye desayuno, no fue un error del sistema, fue un error en el proceso de reserva que usted seleccionó, sin embargo eso no es mayor problema porque igualmente puede contratar el servicio directamente en el hotel, en muchos casos es mejor así porque pueden pagar por el servicio de acuerdo a sus programas turísticos ya que muchas veces sus actividades empiezan mucho antes que el servicio de desayuno. De igual manera en las aplicaciones se especifica que hay cargos por impuestos locales y eso no se carga en los cobros directamente en las aplicaciones.Somos muy respetuosos de los procesos y compromisos, tanto con las aplicaciones como con nuestros huéspedes.Una vez mas lamentamos su malestar y esperamos que la información brindada le pueda ayudar en futuros procesos de reserva.

Completamente recomendado
Realmente un hermoso lugar. Las habitaciones tal como de muestran ennlas fotografías, el desayuno delicioso, la piscina para mi hija y esposo lo mejor, las camas muy comodas, siempre se mantuvo el agua caliente y el tv cable. Aire acondicionado en buen funcionamiento. Y la atencion de su dueña hicieron que nuestras vacaciones fuesen inolvidables.

Totalmente recomendado, apenas llegamos nos ayudaron con un mapa y una guía de la isla, Kenya nos ayudó con lugares en donde comer y otras recomendaciones, nos ayudo coordinando muchas cosas fue de mucha ayuda, el lugar súper limpio y con aire acondicionado, cuenta con desayunos súper buenos!!!
