Oporto Home Apartments es un alojamiento turístico que funciona en el centro histórico de Oporto desde hace más de 12 años. Somos propietarios de nuestro alojamiento y los gestionamos directamente. Nuestro equipo trabaja a diario para brindar un excelente servicio. Logramos el reconocimiento por nuestro trabajo en la satisfacción de nuestros clientes que en la plataforma Expedia nos dan una puntuación media de 4,7 sobre 5. En 12 años de trabajo, nunca se nos había ocurrido recibir a un cliente que insultara a nuestros empleados con términos inapropiados y descorteses. Nunca antes un cliente había escupido comida en la cesta del desayuno, destruyendo toda la comida y esparciéndola en la cesta. De la misma forma que los establecimientos deben saber recibir clientes, los clientes también deben saber estar en un establecimiento. Estas personas no deberían poder alojarse en hoteles. No saben cómo comportarse y claramente no se recomiendan como clientes en ningún lugar del mundo.

Dear Rachel, As we had the oportunity to tell you before, we are very sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay with us. However I must say, in spite of having works in the building next door and of you considering that that was dissapoiting to you, we don't understand the tone and content of your review. Why do you consider the works of renovation of a store will keep going for the next 2 months and with disturbing noises? Also I don't understand how do works of this kind can keep going every day, 7 days a week from 8h00 am to 18:00 am with noise during those 2 months? All this information is incorrect and purposefully misleading. And the only reason for that, that I may find is because you didn't apreciatte your stay during 2 days. Having said that, in Portugal, this type of works are made from monday to friday. Workers take off at 17:00. We now spoke with the restaurant (because as you know the works were in a restaurant that was just doing a low season refreshment to the establishment) and they want to open again for business in 15 days. And of course, all the constructions works are ending because the last weeks are to do the finishings (painting, cleaning, etc). We made all we could to do you stay more pleasant. We were responsive, and always present, taking care of issues you had with for example the internet at 21:00 in the evening. As you said, we can not do much about these kind of works of neighbours that happen during the day, when most guests are visiting the city. With our best regards

Dear Kathleen, We thank you for your review and took notice of the issues you mentioned. I'm sorry you misunderstood the organization of hotels.com. You stayed in the apartment you chose, which was a partial river view apartment as mentioned in the name of the apartment when you choose it. Hotels.com has 114 pictures of all the apartments. When you click in the apartment you choose you find only the pictures of that specific apartment. The parking is 70 meters away from the door of Oporto Home, 2 minutes walking distance. Oporto Home has a lift in the building (which is very rare in this secular historic city centre) and no stairs from the entrance to the lift and from the lift to the door of the apartment in each floor. This makes it much easier for elderly people to visit us and to carry luggage. We are 40 meters away from the taxi stop and the hop off hop on bus stop. Walking distance from almost every main atraction of the city. We are glad to know, that our staff helped you with the luggage, however not surprised for that is our regular service. We are here to help our guests in every way we can. We thak you for your preference and wish you all the best.
