Schönes Hotel im Paradies
Das Hotel ist sehr unkompliziert, sehr ruhig gelegen und bietet jeglichen comfort um den Alltag zu vergessen. Herausragend ist die Freundlichkeit des Personals und die Bemühung alles richtig zu machen!

wunderschöne Unterkunft, ruhig und abgelegen, absolut traumhaft, um ein paar Tage zu entspannen. Tolle Poolanlage, alles sehr gepflegt. Sehr freundlicher Service, gutes Essen im Restaurant mit fairen Preisen. Ausflüge vom Hotel mit eigenem Fahrer sehr zu empfehlen, da man tolle Einblicke über die Kultur und Natur erhält.

Ursprpnglich und authentisch
Das Resort ist sehr sauber, sehr gepflegt und die Bungalows sind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet mit tollen Aussenbadezimmern. Das Essen in den beiden Restaurants ist gut, cocktails und sonstige Getränke (Bier, Wein) anständig ind nicht teuer. Die Umgebung jm das Hotel ist sehr ursprünglich, eher Fischer und Reisbauern. An Freizeitaktivitäten wird neben yoga, zwei Swimmingpools und massagen sehr viel geboten, Schnorchelausflüge, Surfunterricht und Ausflüge mit Fischern aufs Meer. Das Meer ist leider sehr wild (nichts für kleine Kinder), deswegen kann man nicht immer baden.

Sehr ruhig für Erholungssuchende
Wir waren 17 Nächte hier und haben die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sehr genossen. Die Lage, landschaftlich gesehen, ist traumhaft. Es gibt viele Zimmervarianten mit unterschiedlichen Preisen. Wir haben unser Zimmer upgegrated (Zuzahlung ca. 25 € / Tag). Das war es aber wert!! Die Lage ist geeignet, um lange Strandspaziergänge zu machen und einfach das Nichtsmachen geniessen. Das Personal ist sehr hilfreich und freundlich, die Küche sehr gut und sehr flexibel. Die Preise sind im Vergleich zu gleichwertigen Restaurants in Ubud 10-15% höher.

Kein Schwimmen im Meer möglich
"Eingangstür" zur Villa ist ein elektrisch betriebener Rolladen. Wg. Stromausfall war ich im Dunkeln eingesperrt und musste mich befreien lassen. Wenn jemand Platzangst hat, dreht er dabei wahrscheinlich durch. TV und Zimmersafe funktionierten nicht. Habe nicht reklamiert, da ich wg. Stromausfall und Rolladen die Hotelhandwerker bereits oft genug ungebetenerweise zu Gast hatte. Sonnenschirme gibt es nur fuer die Liegen am Pool, nich fuer die Liegen auf der Wiese. Weststrand ist wg. einer Flussmündung eine einzige Kloake. Personal behauptet, der Oststrand sei wegen Felsen und Stroemung zu gefaehrlich. Ergo: Kein Schwimmen im Meer möglich. Strand vermüllt und stark durch Motorradfahrer frequentiert. Tag und Nacht Beschallung durch zwei Moscheen in der Nähe. Der "Fruit Juice" (Sirup bzw. Brause) zum Frühstück ist eine Frechheit. Das "home-made bread" schmeckt noch scheußlicher als das Toastbrot. Der Fairness und Vollständigkeit halber auch etwas Positives: - Kostenloser Airporttransfer bei mind. 7 Nächten - Leiser Deckenventilator - Guest Relationship Management sehr bemüht aber hilflos gegenüber der miserablen Strandsituation. Wer 17 Stunden nach Bali fliegt, nur um im River-Pool zu baden und das lautstarke Sylvesterfeuerwerk zu bewundern, der wird hier womöglich sogar glücklich.

Dear Sir Thank you for your feed-back, always useful in terms of improvement of our service. We are sincerely sorry that your stay with us did not completely reach your expectations. It is very rare that a power breakdown happens. Fortunately the issue has been fixed in a few minutes by our maintenance department. We also checked the status of the TV and the safety box in your room. Both are working well but it is true that their usage is sometimes complicated for elder people. Sorry about that! Many parasols are at the disposal of our guests everywhere in the property. If not in the right place, our staff is always happy to move them according to your needs. After checking the Dajuma description on Agoda (text which is by the way out of our control), we could not find the "private beach" you are mentioning. For your information, in most countries around the world, these private beaches have disappeared and for those which are still existing they are just illegal. Concerning the status of the sea, we are now in the raining season. In Bali, raining season means it is raining a few hours everyday often during the night. The positive consequence is an even more beautiful nature, flowers blooming everywhere with this alternance between sun and rain. Less positive, like everywhere in the world, rivers are purging to the sea their organic and inorganic wastes, some of them being found on the beach with the tides and making the sea load with some mud for a few hours, but nothing to do with the "cloaca" you mention. Early in the morning, our staff cleans all the area while the villagers collect the organic waste (mainly wood, bamboo) for their domestic needs. Despite the raining season, many of our guests are pleased to enjoy our beach activities. During your stay, you probably saw every morning our surfing lessons as well as guests enjoying swimming

Wonderfull Place to be
A small Hotel with a gorgeous garden. Nice Food, friendly staff. A lot of places to lay around. No fighting for sun lounghers. On the Beach in front is swimming not possible at low tide. But a few steps away is another Beach.

Very peacefull place straight at the beach with beautifull bungaloo's and nice pool. Its very close to Medewi beach, a perfect spot for surfing. We spent 10 nights there and won't miss any moment. If you are looking for a garden eden far away from all the tourist crowded places in the south and east...this is the place.

waren 5 Nächte in dem Hotel alles sehr schön angelegt. Abends kann man zwar nicht auf andere Restaurants ausweichen da es zu weit entfernt ist von der Stadt aber nachdem das Restaurant hervorragendes essen bietet ist das auch nicht so schlimm.

Could not have been better!
For the type of place my wife and I were looking for, Puri Dajuma was excellent. The southwestern part of the island is already less touristy than the south east and we chose this location simply to get away. The staff is super friendly and authentic and best of all non- intrusive. Just the right balance. There is a nice little beach to the right of the hotel where you can swim and is quite clean. Balian beach is a 30 minute drive and Medewi only 10 minutes away if you're into surfing. Snorkeling tours are also easily accessible and organized from this location. If we find ourselves in this part of the world again, I would go back to Puri Dajuma.

Paikka oli aivan ihana, olimme varanneet ja maksaneet "deluxe mökin valtamerinäköalalla". Mökki oli iso ja hurmaavasti sisustettu, mutta merinäköalaa emme kyllä saaneet. Tästä kävimme respassa keskustelua heti saavuttuamme. Hotellissa oli todellisuudessa VAIN kaksi kuvatunlaista huonetta, joista toinen oli vapaa. Sitä ei kuitenkaan meille annettu, koska "siihen tulee huomenna asukkaat". Mitäs me mahdoimme olla? Toimi ilmeisesti logiikalla parempi yhdet tyytymättämät asukkaat kuin noin neljä tyytymätöntä asukasta. Majoituimme hotellissa poikkeuksellisen pitkään, muut vieraat majoittuivat 2- 4 vrk, me 9 vrk. Eli hotelli myy majoitusta, jota sillä ei periaatteessa juurikaan ole. Näyttää myyvän noin 9 huonetta "valtamerinäköalalla", mutta kahta lukuunottamatta muut huoneet/villaget ovat upean puutarhan piilossa.

It is true that the view of the sea from our rooms can sometimes be partially hampered by the luxuriance of our garden. By taking a few steps, however, you find this panoramic view of more than 200 degrees on the sea and its unforgettable sunsets. Puri Dajuma is incredible from the point of booking to the end of the stay. My first time in Bali. Not sure where to stay and had seen tons of reviews about Bali in general. We wanted some serious rest and relaxation and I was drawn to choosing Puri Dajuma. A little nervous as the description had shown “3 hours” drive from the airport. After 20 hours of flying, we had to mentally prepare for that. We booked Puri Dajuma and communication was a breeze via WhatsApp. Arranged a driver upon flight arrival and that went perfect. The driver was waiting for us and ready to roll. The drive was in fact 3 hours and it was raining. Perfect. Upon arrival at the hotel at approximately 8pm, we were met by staff at the car, brought in quickly, checked in and escorted to our villa. It was dark and I couldn’t see a thing. We ordered room service, ate and passed out. When we woke up in the morning to see where we were, we were amazed. The 2-story villa was incredible, the ocean views amazing, the pool was about 10 feet from the villa was also amazing with an ocean view. The food was incredible and cocktails also. Incredible exposure to culture included. The most amazing part about this trip is the staff. This may be the best place I’ve EVER been to in respects to hospitality. We visited 3 resorts in 3 cities to experience different parts of Bali during our stay. This was our best for R&R. I will definitely be back for a longer stay. Chris D

First visit, but certainly not the last!
Absolutely beautiful surroundings with an amazing view over the ocean and a very well kept garden area between all the pathways and buildings. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and will help in whatever way they can. We were surprised this wasn't a five star resort as the quality and atmosphere is top quality luxury. Cannot recommend enough and on our last day we were already discussing going back again.

Thank you for your comment. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. Next time, don't be afraid to ask for a blanket or aim the AC at the ceiling instead of the bed. During the wet season as it is now, it is a daily struggle to fight plastic waste on the beach which is carried by the rains into the waterways. Luckily, we have a well-functioning glass and plastic recycling process in place. We hope to have the pleasure of seeing you again soon!

Great food!
We made a 1 night stop at this hotel on our road trip from Denpasar to Mount Ijen on Java. Very nice hotel. The food (local and international cuisine) was of excellent quality, compared to similar hotels in Indonesia. Tranquil hotel but offer some nice entertainment like surf boards or tours Highly recommended!

A very nice place to stay!
We had a wonderful stay here. We extended our stay to a total of 7 nights, which was good if you like lazing around, walking on the beach and hanging by the pools. My husband was able to surf the right break which was about a 5-10 min walk up the beach for a few days, then the swell decreased and there was not much to do after that. The staff was very obliging with driving us into town to shop (Pekututan) or to Medewi beach to surf or hang out. The facility is gorgeous and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Overall the service was fantastic, some days better then others, depending on how many guests were there. We had 2 different rooms while staying here, the first was one of the cottages that was very comfortable although the bed was a bit bouncy, our second room was one of the villas which was rather magical! No bouncy bed! You could hear the roosters in the village behind starting up at 4:30am however, earplugs worked well and were provided!! The food was very good for dinners, very spicy and flavorful and a good variety. The Balinese crepes for dessert rocked!! I would recommend this resort.

Ultimate relaxation, away from the crowds
Puri Dajuma is a beautiful place. The gardens are particularly stunning. All rooms are steps from the beach, which stretches for miles in both directions. Besides local fisherman and a few others and the other tourists from the resort, you won’t see many other people. It’s the ultimate getaway in Bali, for the time being until it gets more popular. For now, it’s the opposite of busy Canggu! We loved how quiet it was. As for the resort, they take great care to make your stay as comfortable and special as possible. Everything is clean, stylish and well looked after. The staff are friendly and professional, meals are pretty good and the overall impression is that we highly recommend a visit.

Fantastisk perle i total fredeligt område
Utrolig dejlig og fredfyldt sted m en skøn have ad snoede stier. Værelse i top m gode lænestole såvel ude som inde. Morgenmad meget alsidig. Personalet yderst hjælpsomme og taler godt engelsk. Kan virkelig anbefales. Dårligt gående skal bede om bungalow uden trappe.

Wonderful west Bali retreat.
We loved our stay at Puri Dajuma. We just enjoyed being in our cottage, watching the waves and swimming in the pristine pool overlooking the Indian Ocean. We had a complementary cooking class and found it fun and informative. The buildings are all beautifully crafted and this added to our enjoyment. Yes, we’d love to stay again.

Amazing experience. The food was superb, the cocktails great, the staff beyond helpful and friendly. The pool was a ton of fun, the black sand beach breathtaking. Will definitely come back.

Fantastisk flot sted god ro og god service
Meget skønt sted og langt væk fra alt det overt-uristede syd og vest-Bali, her er der ro. Jeg var af sted med to børn på 10 og 13 år (drenge) og de nød også stedet da poolen har en lille ruchebane (støbt ind i klipperne, så man ser den ikke rigtig) og de kunne hoppe fra den ene pool til den anden. Fedt sted. Uden badeværelset var fantastisk. Fantastisk service med sodavand og drinks mens man lå i poolen. Vi boede i et 1-rums værelse og det var fint til os tre Da det ligger så afsides har hotellet en gratis shuttel service der med 15 min varsel kan køre gæster til markedet og den nærliggende by Medewi (surfer-sted, men hyggeligt og lidt lavere priser) Eneste minus er at alting er meget dyrt. Massage x 3 dyrere end resten af bali. Transport x 3 dyrere end resten af Bali. Ex ville vi til et vandfald kun 30 min kørsel derfra og de ville have 1.050.000 Rp for os tre. Idet jeg kendte priserne tog jeg til Medewi (2 km gang på stranden) og fandt en chauffør der kunne køre os for 350.000. Dertil var der også billig massage i Medewi (100.000 Rp kontra 350.000 Rp på hotellet). Jeg synes det er ærgerligt at de skruer priserne så meget op, for jeg ville gerne støtte den lokale massør på stedet. Andre dejlige steder jeg har været på Bali var priserne ca 20-30% dyrere på hotellet men ikke 300%. Dertil brændte naboen en dag affald af, så hele vores hytte stank af røg hele natten.
