W Wir waren 14 Tage mit einen Mietwagen in Zypern unterwegs,davon waren wir 4 Nächte in diesen Hotel. Obwohl es mitte November war. hatten wir herliches Wetter und wir konnten immer im Meer baden. Das Hotel bzw. Essen und Zimmer (Meerblick) waren ausgezeichnet. ir waren mit einen Mietwagen 14 Tage in Zypern unterwegs,davon waren wir 4 Nächte in

Übersichtliche nette Hotelanlage
Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig gelegen, weg vom stinkenden, lauten Stadtverkehr. Ein wunderschöner gepflasteter Weg führt vom Hotel entlang am Wasser bis in die Stadt zu den antiken Ausgrabungsstätten und dem Hafen. Die Lage unseres geräumigen Studios mit Kochgelegenheit, das zu einem Rabatt angeboten wurde, war etwas enttäuschend. Direkt gegenüber ein Wirtschaftsgebäude mit Anfahrtsrampe für Lieferanten (laut). Das war in der Beschreibung nicht erkennbar. Aber da wir uns eh nur zum Schlafen im Zimmer aufhielten, und angesichts des günstigen Preises, war das für uns kein Problem. Was wir nicht wussten, man braucht einen englischen Stecker/Adapter. Konnte man aber kostenlos ausleihen. Keine mehrstöckigen riesigen Apartmentgebäude, was dem Hotel einen familiären Charakter verleiht.

A wonderful place to stay. From the friendly check in staff to the staff around the facility, everyone was helpful. The dining options are wonderful, with a full breakfast buffet to delicious meals in the restaurant. The pool is clean and beautiful and the beach offers beautiful sunset views. There is also a nice walkway on the beach to go into old Paphos or you can easily walk to the main road for shopping and other venues. We will be back.

Clean, safe and affordable.We liked this hotel for its easy walkability to nearby restaurants and bus stops. You could walk to some of the nearby attractions, which will only become easier once the ocean walk is fully completed. The room itself was clean, though dated, and the ocean view was very nice. The air conditioner worked well during very hot weather and was quiet. Some things to think carefully about if you want to book here: 1) The beach is pretty poor in front of the hotel. There are only small areas that aren’t rocky and weedy, so going into the sea is not a popular activity, but it certainly can be done. You can also walk a few minutes along the water to a nearby public beach which has nice sand. 2) There is not a lot of space around the pool, and what is there doesn’t offer much shade. There’s a lot of demand for beach chairs. We chose to sit in older chairs under smaller umbrellas on a grassy area facing the sea which is adjacent to the pool deck. It’s not as crowded and still allowed for a quick dip into the pool whenever we were so inclined. 3) This is not a quiet resort. They run a poolside bar/nightclub that is noisy until past midnight. The noise levels seemed to vary depending on crowd size and the type of entertainment. Of 6 nights we stayed I was only kept awake by the noise one night, but we did hear it every night. If you’re into nightlife, or coming with a group or family, I think it would be great, but it’s not really a romantic getaway.

On the one hand I enjoyed the hotel, and yet if I returned to Paphos I probably would try someplace else. The good: the bedrooms are big and well equipped with kitchen stuff. Nice sea view, nice little porch. Bathroom ok (so much mould in the shower head, actually made me feel sick). Air con worked well. The pool seemed way too small and crowded and the beach was pebbly, but ok to swim. Nice views. Liked the little shop outside the hotel. Didn’t try any of the food or drinks, so can’t comment. They arranged a taxi for airport pick up, that was good, and good communications before arrival. The not so good: we were in a room near the restaurant and bar, so the evening entertainment, which goes until midnight, kept us up. Irritating! Either put party animals near the bar or get better insulation. Reception staff were a bit odd - they’d ring your room with a relatively unfriendly attitude. The games room was ok, but there was no chalk for the cues for pool. The really bad: The health club was only open 11am to 6pm, a ridiculous window, really not at all suitable as it implies that guests are staying put at the hotel instead of out and about (should be open at least 6am to 9 or 10pm). Add to this, the towel swap time was only 10 to 12, and 2-4, again completely unsuitable. As I tool tours out every day I never managed to use a towel and had to use bath ones and the ones I brought with me for tours instead. Again, careless consideration for guests needs.

Great price for lovely hotel
Great hotel and very friendly staff. Nice swimming pool and beach. Great dinner. Nice size of room. Supermarket on site with reasonable prices. The beds were not so comfortable. Pool towels available only on limited time of the day.

Strange Requirement
I have stayed in many hotels over the past 40 years and this is the first time I came across a hotel where the front office requested 10 Euro deposit for the TV remote control. This is a very strange requirement. If one were to forget to return the remote control then you will lose the deposit.

We have stayed at Kefalos Beach many times and it is always a pleasure. The apartments are well maintained, very spacious & well equiped. Staff are generally very friendly & helpful with the exeption of the guy who hands out the pool towels. We found him quite rude and on occassions rather aggressive towards guests. This however did not ruin our overall good experience

The hotel is overall good. Professional check in, restaurant good with full English breakfast in the morning and buffet in the evening. Would have been nice to have more local food items for breakfast. Room nice bright and spacious. Pool very nice and not too busy but it’s off season so that was great. Bar is ok, large screen but picture froze all the time.

Dejligt sted lige ved vandet. Små hyggelige "gader" mellem lejligheds-blokke. Stor pæn lejlighed med soveværelse der havde gode faste senge. Eneste ulempe var sovesofaer i stue/alrum. De kan måske være ok til små børn, men bestemt ikke til store teenagere. Generelt gode faciliteter. Vi havde "side sea view" ud til pool og hav, hvilket var ok. Pool var stor, med god dybde og vandet var altid rent. Massere af solsenge ved pool og på græsplæne ned mod vandet. Godt at snorkle fra stenmolen lige neden for hotel. Der er ingen rigtig sandstrand lige ved hotellet. Vi tog bil ca. 10 min. til Coral Bay beach som var dejlig sandstrand. Entertainment team var alletiders og engageret. Der var forskellig underholdning hver aften, med artister ud fra. Sidst på ugen, lavede personalet selv et rigtigt godt show. Stor morgenmadsbuffet og aftensmadbuffet. ikke gourmet - men i den gode ende for buffet.

Great place for great value
It was really good. The breakfast was rich and the crew was refilling all the food. We got a room 50 feet from the waterfront. The kids club was great, and we lucked up on the weather. Great place and great value!

Great hotel
I have stayed at Kefalos Beach a couple of times now and really love it. They have great facilities, the shop onsite stocks most things you need if you can’t make it to a supermarket. We had breakfast included which was lovely. There was so much choice that for the four days we were there I had something different. It is in a great location, we hired a car as we were visiting family but you can easily walk to the local restaurants and bars.

Good location, easy walking to beach, walking, food and drink, shopping and tourist attractions. Fair room standard - slightly tired bathroom and furniture, but big and quiet. Service in the snack bar/restaurant was very poor on both occasions we decided to go. Mainly waiting almost three times as long as you would expect to both order and get our order after that. Dinner took close to 50 minutes after ordering and ordering lunch we waited 10 minutes just to get a menu. Food quality was good, drinks are very overpriced with a latte at €4.10 and a bitter orange juice at €4.20. Good pool area and some charming cats.

Wonderful Beach hotel in Paphos
Highly recommend. The only negative thing about the hotel is the additional charge for WIFI in the room. The extra WIFI charge is also per device! Not for the room. However, they do offer free WIFI in the lobby.

Amazing relaxing vacation
We've been in Kefalos this march and had a fabulous time. The hotel is wonderful and the surrounding is amazing. Everything was so clean and the staff went out there way to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was complete and tasty, the pool area was very fun and the room was spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed every second of this vacation

Hotel op loopafstand van diverse restaurants. Wij hebben meerdere keren heerlijk gegeten bij Zeus. (Rechtsaf op Tomb of the Kings Road, 50 meter. Daar véél betere kwaliteit dan in haven paphos. Wel leuk om met bus 615 naar haven te rijden. Kost maar 1,50 euro (na 2100 uur 2,50). Hotel met eigen strand (rots en zand). Neem waterschoenen mee. En een verloopstekker

Everything was great .. There are a couple of things that I wound suggest 1) it would be nice instead of, or as well as wine and fruit in the fridge to have a bottle of mineral water when arriving very late night , with everything closed . 2) wifi cost is expensive

infrastructure et maintenance insuffisantes
1ère affectation face au parking et à la route, dans une chambre sentant mauvais et où l'on dort dans la cuisine( salon , cuisine, lits télé, tout est là mais sans séparation, bref chambre sans aucun cachet) nous demandons à changer de chambre mais ce n'était pas possible, on nous demande de repasser 3j plus tard à 10 h pour refaire le point entre temps, il a fallu appeler la réparation en raison d'une défallance de l'air conditionné nous nous présentons à ce rdv pour d'entendre dire qu'il fallait revenir à 14h, on huasse un peu le ton et c'est là qu'on nous promet une nouvelle chambre pour l'après-midi : dommage de nous bloquer ainsi à l'hôtel car nous partions les matins en excursion la nouvelle chambre s'est avérée plus conviviale mais c'était une chambre communicant avec une autre ( simple porte de séparation)ce qui nous a valu d'être réveillés toutes les nuits par nos voisins très bruyants il a aussi fallu faire appel au service de maintenance pour un problème de chasse d'eau abords de piscine très glissants spectacles ne commençant qu'à 22h ( et encore quand ils ne sont pas reportés à minuit)donc trop tard pour des enfants

we had room overlooking swimming pool and sea. lovely balcony from where we could watch the sunset. kitchen was basic. needed maybe a wine bottle opener. gardens were maintained very well and the entire complex were clean. food at the snack bar was good. big portions!

The location is great, although we felt some of the staff were a little confusing and gave us wrong information. The tour reps who came to the hotel to help us with the tours were very unfriendly and appeared blunt and unhelpful. Hence we had to find tours outside the hotel.

Excellent for viewing the ancient sights
Food was excellent, the only negatives were the charge for wifi. 3 euros an hour! The rooms are poorly sound proofed. We could here every word said in the next room , even when they talked quietly.

Kafalos was near the harbour and mall, walking diisteance. Location near the sea. I had 10 days good time weather was nice and, I had nice walk on the costal area.
