Perfekt gelegen zu Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure und Volcano Bay. Man kann das Wasser Taxi nehmen oder zu Fuß gehen. Zu Volcano Bay gelangt man ganz bequem am Pool vorbei. Der Check In war schnell und freundlich- besonderer Dank an Yarelys für ein Room Upgrade mit schönen Blick auf Vulcano Bay. Ebenso an Britanney, die uns beim 2. Besuch ganz bezaubernd empfangen hat. Das Kingsize Bed-Zimmer war geräumig und das Bett bequem. Empfehlen würde ich ein Zimmer fern ab der Aufzüge ( die sind echt laut und man hört sie scheppern) und der Eismaschine. Beim ersten Aufenthalt hatten wir leider beides quasi gegenüber und damit unruhige Nächte. Die Frühstücksoptionen im Hotel sind prima und haben faire Preise (z.B. große Portion Oatmeal für 6$ 2$ für zusätzliches Obst). Man sollte unbedingt auf die Dachterasse gehen und den Sonnenuntergang genießen, das Essen dort war zudem sehr gut!

I chose this property based on the reviews I read, hoping for a quiet place to relax in the afternoons. I was okay with the minimalist look, but the rooms are very stark and there was nowhere to hang your hand towels. We had a view of the Volcano Bay but honestly didn't spend any time looking out the window. It was very clean and the staff very polite and helpful. Starbucks was very quick and convenient in the morning. The pizza and chicken wings were very good. The pool was smaller but there were fewer people so it was okay. But the music was strange and very loud, so we chose to go to the Sapphire Falls pool instead. And if you are a light sleeper, ask for a room further from the elevators, they make a lot of banging noises. We used the water taxi at the Sapphire Falls as well, which was very convenient. The Bar 17 Bistro is worth visiting, nice drink menu and beautiful views at night.

Compared to Cabana Bay which we stayed in last year we found the Aventura a much more relaxed. It has a proper hotel feel to it and the food court is amazing value compared to the theme parks. The only down side for us in the “techy” hotel was half the usb sockets in the room were not working , hopefully we just unlucky but with so many gadgets needing powered these day that could have been an issue. Transport to the parks was easy with a bus and if preferred a 5 minute stroll to the neighbouring Sapphire Falls to use their boat. Would certainly stay here again.

I had researched this property before staying and thought it looked quite nice on Expedia….boy I was wrong. The hotel itself isn’t in bad condition, lobby, parking etc but the rooms are another story. When we arrived our room looked like someone had just left. Dirt on the floors, hair on the bathroom walls, it was disgusting. The cleaning staff need to be more attentive or undergo training on how hotels should be cleaned. The sheets on the bed where dated and the overall cleanliness of the rooms was just not up to par. The only thing that made our stay bearable was the awesome view of the Univeral Studios and Islands of Adventure parks and the proximity of food/shopping etc, everything else was below average. Wouldn’t stay again or recommend.

Very nice hotel! Ammenities are all new! Love that you can watch youtube and other streaming devices on their TV and the ipad controls everything! Very clean and new! We come home to a clean hotel room after tiring days at the park! Love the floor to ceiling view from our room and waking up to a very nice view! Bed are super comfy! I slept like a baby! Would definitely come back!

Great clean hotel with not too many kids running around which makes it a great alternative to some of the other hotels. Only thing to note is the downstairs food options close pretty early and the Starbucks closes even earlier which i thought was a big miss for people coming back from the parks. Other than that the hotel was great and clean and was perfect for a few nights stay!
