The room was very cozy, breakfast delicious and the owner very kind. Would recommend going by car though, it IS located rather far away from public transport.

Unfortunately the heating didn`t work in our room, after a wet and cold day in the Burren. But other than that everything was nice, great breakfast, friendly host, thanks!

Direkt an einer vielbefahrenen Straße gelegen. Der Check-In durch ein junges Mädchen war sehr kurz und ohne Smalltalk. Liebevoll eingerichtet, aber alles etwas eng. Das Bad unseres Zimmers war leider so winzig, dass man sich auf der Toilette sitzend, die Hände waschen kann, weil man sich die Knie am Waschbecken stößt. Besitzerin Mary beim Frühstück aber sehr freundlich und bemüht.

Sehr schöne und zentrale Lage des B&B. Super Ausgangspunkt um das Connemaragebiet zu erkunden. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und sauber eingerichtet. Ich kann es nur empfehlen.

sehr freundlich aber stark befahrene strasse
Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Wir hatten das Bad nicht direkt im Zimmer sondern ausserhalb, was uns jedoch nicht gestört hat. Negativ ist, dass das Haus direkt an einer sehr stark befahrenen Strasse liegt. Ist also nichts für Menschen mit einem leichten Schlaf

Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in Hillview. Unsere Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und gesprechlich. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, das Frühstück lecker. Die Lage an einer Hauptstraße war ein bißchen laut, aber uns hat es nicht so sehr gestört.

Perfect in almost every aspect. Maureen was the ultimate host. Transport to town is required. Highly recommend the local Porter House for food and Renville park for walks.

Galway visit
Our hostess Maureen was just lovely. It was at the top of our list of places we stayed in Ireland. Home is clean and inviting. Beds are amazing and you can heat them too. We stayed for 2 nights and very comfortable and cozy. Maureen in also a good cook, we enjoyed our breakfast very much. This is a great place to stay and the next time I am in Ireland I will book here

Lovely B&B close to Galway city.
Maureen was a lovely host who greeted us with a handshake on our arrival and departure. Conveniently located just outside of Galway City without all the hustle and bustle of the city. The full Irish breakfast was delicious and a good start to the day. Would stay again in a minute. Best regards.

The property was lovely. The owner was friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Irish Breakfast sensational. Rooms a very small and one of our bathrooms a real struggle to use (couldn't!). Go for the larger downstairs rooms. Close to Galway. Morning traffic horrendous!!!

Like most Irish properties, there is no street number, a bit hard to find. Someone suggested input post code in GPS, may work better. This place was on the Wild Atlantic Way - the other side of Moneymore Road ! Most friendly hostess who served up a substantial breakfast. Book a bigger ground floor room is you are staying more than 1 night !

We had the best stay! Maureen makes you immediately feel like family. This place exudes warmth and love. The owner even customizes your breakfast preference (which is delicious!) We booked the Hillview for two nights for our trip to Galway. We were not surprised with it as it was publicised as a home from home and it certainly was. Very comfortable with a great breakfast. Lovely host who made us very welcome.

Cheapest place in the Galway area. It's basic but not tastefully basic. Mattresses and sheets seems like they got it from a flea market. Every door squeaks when used. The breakfast is ok and the hostess serves it professionally. The private bathroom was outside the room which defeated the purpose for privacy.
