„Wonderful petite cottage just right for a lovely relaxing escape. Our fur baby loved it the most I think taking full advantage of the safe expansive gardens and the toasty warm nights in front of the roaring log fire. Highly recommended“

„We had a rewlly lovely relaxing stay, the kids enjoyed every minute and our border collie had the time of his life running in the paddock! The farm fresh produce was a joy to cook with and everything you need to create delicious meals is at hand.“

„A cottage well off the beaten track. No TV and wifi for 2 nights. Then it rained and the cloud was low so sightseeing was out of the question. Spent the day blobbing out reading and DVD watching. Best possible place to spend a day doing this.“

„Host did not greet us or leave milk for tea & coffee. Host 2 dogs were the only friendly ones at the property although first night they barked all night and one was very thin and was looking for food. No firepit, which we were looking forward to at night. Outlook was disappointing as main view was looking at old shed and old machinery and timber lying around. No WiFi and poor TV reception. We would not return 😒“

Sweeping views of the hills, cosy fireplace with plenty of fire wood, plenty of space, lovely cottage garden and lawn, great location, friendly and kind hosts who were very responsive, and a very friendly sheep called Flossy! You can tell that a lot of effort has gone into creating a perfect stay and it has paid off. We’ll be back.“

„We had a lovely stay for 4 nights at the Modern Victoria. It is located in a great spot, walking distance to cafes, pubs and shops. The home was well-equipped, spacious and very comfortable. Often it is hard to find accommodation suitable for a young family and dog, but this ticked all the boxes.“

„The property was perfectly warm & comfortable for my husband, my granddaughter and myself. Paper towel & tissues wld be a good addition. The wifi password being available instead of having to contact the host. Greater care cld be taken with cleaning behind furniture etc. but all up a very comfortable & enjoyable stay. “
