Renovierungsbedürftiges Hotel
Für eine Nacht ok, aber für länger auf keinen Fall. Unser Zimmer müsste dringend mal renoviert werden, so wie das ganze Hotel. Zimmer sind zudem total hellhörig.

Best Location Hotel.
This older well facelifted Hotel is enjoyable for ist style, ocean views and best Location at the cap with short walks to beaches and cap. The Food is good and here we got also our only acceptable Continental breakfast in 16 days, Restaurant was always a bit windy and chilly but on request this was improved by closing Windows. After all: a good stay with a Family at a perfect Price to Quality Balance.

Bitte nicht dort nächtigen!
Dieses Hotel entspricht nicht dem gwohnten deutschen Standard....die Zimmer sind klein, wenig sauber, die Einrichtung ist alt. Die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig und auch die Lage ist entfernt vom Stadtkern, der auch nicht sehr sehenswert ist. Auch das Frühstück kann niht unbedingt weiter empfohlen werden....dieses Hotel war der Reinfall unserer Reise....

Only stayed the one night in a single room. The room had everything needed for a comfortable stay and was clean. It is an older building so you could hear noise from the above room and the winds were whistling around the headland whilst I was staying. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The car park is a bit tight for space. Overall the owners have done a good job trying to keep an older hotel upto date. Perfectly ok for a nights stay.

If room size is an important consideration, perhaps for a longer stay, our large sea view doubles or our Endellion rooms (with seating area) make a comfortable choice. Although I have only used it as a "base camp" for coastal explorations, it has great location outside the busy areas of Newquay - but still close to the coastline, with lovely ocean view from the room I succeeded to book earlier this year. Breakfast starts at 07:30, with a considerable menu of cooked options, too - so it is ideal for early risers looking to depart for their trekking. Overflow car park at the back helps, too in case the spaces in the front are taken.

Dirty and badly maintained
Lobby and bar/restaurant looks okay but the rooms are horrendous. Smallest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in, mouldy bathroom door, stained carpets, awful tile job, bathroom flooring peeling away. Obviously haven’t spent any money to keep the rooms even half way decent, felt and smelt so grimey and disgusting in there, wish I’d have thought to take photos as my description doesn’t explain how awful it was. The guy who severed us on the bar was lovely! Prepare to take out a second mortgage if you get a drink though!! Reception staff are very very rude and unhelpful. One overweight women at reception was especially awful, hopefully it’s her day off on your check in if you do stay! Oh, and the room wasn’t even ready on time for the 4pm check in either, no sign of an apology or anything for this, just treated like we were in the wrong for being there….

We're shocked and upset by the tone of this content. We also have a zero-tolerance policy towards any guest who believes it's okay to make offensive and highly personal comments about our team. We have closely inspected this room, and while we have identified some small spot staining (possibly from a tea bag missing the bin) we find the main points of feedback exaggerated and misleading. That said, we are extremely proud of our team and if we ever make a mistake, we always hold our hands up and apologise. It's just the right thing to do. As this guest didn't raise any point of complaint with our team at any stage during their stay, we encourage guests to let us know at the time. so we have the opportunity to resolve, investigate or rectify.

Thank you for offering feedback with pleasant service and breakfasts as a highlight of your stay. In compliance with our Green Policy, we do not offer a daily bedroom refresh. However, we do provide additional fresh, clean towels, bathroom sundries, or tea/coffee top-ups at reception, which is manned 24 hours a day. For guests staying 4 nights or more, we offer a mid-stay room refresh.

The lovely view of the bay from the bedroom window. Nice to watch the surfers, sunrise and sunset. Also with our stay the lovely rainbows. The staff were always friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

Stay was ok
Location great from fistral. Issue with car park, apparently not enough spaces front and back car parks were full and had to wait for space to become available to park. Issue with the temperature in the rooms, heat was too high and not possible to fully open the window to cool it down. Staff really friendly. Room clean.

Thanks for your feedback, with highlights including really friendly service, a clean room, and a great coastal location for easy access to Fistral Beach. We are completely transparent about our free-of-charge parking and only advertise this as being limited and offered on a first-come basis only. During peak periods, alternative on-street parking may be found, and there is also a public car park located at the end of our avenue. The UK experienced a heat wave and the hottest week of the year during September. We appreciate that warm nighttime temperatures can be uncomfortable for everyone. May we assure you of our very best intentions and wish you all the best.
