Wir hatten zu dritt ein Doppelzimmer mit zwei Doppelbetten für sechs Nächte. Die Unterkunft hat vor kurzem erst geöffnet, daher ist die Einrichtung in einem Top Zustand und man kann daran nichts bemängeln. Die Betten bzw. Matratzen sind von sehr guter Qualität. Wenn Housekeeping gewünscht ist, muss man am Vormittag des Vortages an der Rezeption Bescheid sagen. Hier ist Nachdruck empfohlen, da bei uns zweimal nichts notiert wurde und somit erst am letzten Tag gereinigt wurde. Am Housekeeping an sich gab es nichts zu bemängeln. Handtücher haben wir auch zwischendurch bekommen bei Bedarf. Supermärkte, Restaurants, U-Bahn-Station alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Kann die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

I have booked the Standard room, but they give us standard accesible room. How come they get to know that i need accesible room, I am 6 feet guy and some things were not according to my height. This room was allocated to me without any communication which i never requested.

The room was nice and clean, but everything else didn’t look like a hotel. Barely any lobby, hallways look like a hostel. Weird checkout process! After a long flight, you stand by a tiny counter and verify your identity by with scanning your documents - 5-6 step —- required process :((( the people at the reception don’t really do anything not even smile or try to be welcoming. All they say, check your email, complete the process….

One of the best experiences, I love how the hotel is being eco-friendly, only providing refillable and good quality of amenities. Using compostable coffee capsules, providing filtered water stations in the common area to save single-use plastic bottles. And it’s only a couple of minutes walk to Queensboro Plaza 7 train, and everyday it only took us 15 mins to 34 Hudson yards, easy to go to Manhattan. It’s quiet at night and spacious room. Highly recommend if you are here for business trips.

Great property location near the trains and it relatively quiet area. I would recommend for extended stays near the city. The only thing is that there was someone else hair still left in shower so it was a bit iffy but overall the staff was very nice and very easy to get in.

I was very concerned about staying at this location. However, I will say that this is definitely where I will stay again when I return in a few months. Hotel staff is awesome. Room very clean. There is no breakfast like at most chain hotels but the deli around the corner has that covered. Restaurants are in walking distance and I felt very safe just walking around enjoying the NY city evenings. No parking at this hotel if u have a vehicle. I think there’s a garage a block away but i Uber’d so it didn’t matter. Enjoy Sonder the Dutch. Great place to stay at a very reasonable price.

お洒落なホテルでした。 １時だけ早くアーリーチェックインするのにも$25追加でした。すぐにお部屋に入りたかったので支払いましたが高いですね。お部屋の掃除がリクエストしないと来ないのはメリットもデメリットもありました。 従業員の方はみんなとてもフレンドリーで協力的で良かったです。周辺にはバーやレストラン、スーパー等なんでもあるので便利でした。

I stayed on business in Oct 2022. The location and price are so so, decent distance from the subway. I was trying to save some cash, because Manhattan hotel prices are insane. So the compromise of a little extra time on the subway and a no-frills hotel felt worth it for me as long as it was clean. There were a few fatal issues that make it highly unlikely I would recommend Sonder the Dutch, namely the cleanliness of the room - which is something management has full control over. First, the room was unclean on check in - dust all over the surfaces and under the bed - which is exposed - was full of dust and hairballs. Plus, the kettle was full of mold. Super gross. I just decided I wouldn’t use it, and would wipe down the desktops myself with a wet facecloth. Fine. Housekeeping does not come unless you request them 24 hours in advance. I requested a cleaning after three nights. I came back to my room at the end of a long day on the 4th night, looking forward to my room being clean and fresh - the cleaning staff had not come. I talked to customer service and they said I was on the list, but they were backed up. At that point I was in for the night (and it had been 36 hours since the request). They showed up three hours later and I told them not to worry about it as I was ready for bed and wasn’t going to leave my room in my pjs so someone could clean. They only give one of each towel.Also the shower sprays water all over the floor. Wish this space were longer to review - avoid!

The room was ok. Spacious and the organizing shelving system equipped. But, you may hear hissing noise from the AC all the time. Annoying. No outlets around the desk so if you are planning to work from the hotel, be prepared.
