Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft empfehlenswert. Was besonders hervorzuheben ist, ist die sehr gute Lage des Hotels. Fast alle Hauptsehenswürdigkeiten befinden sich in der Nähe und alles Andere ist schnell mit der Subway erreichbar. Das Hotel ist modern und stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Gänge in den Stockwerken sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und sehen etwas mitgenommen aus. Die Zimmer sind sauber, allerdings wirklich sehr klein. Da sich das Waschbecken inmitten des Zimmers befindet und lediglich die Dusche sowie das WC durch Milchglasscheiben abgetrennt sind, sollte man sich der eingeschränkten Privatsphäre bewusst sein, wenn man das Hotel zu zweit bucht. Beim Check-in werden etwa 450€ auf der Kreditkarte belastet, knapp die Hälfte wird am Ende des Aufenthalts rückerstattet, da dies nur zur Absicherung seitens des Hotels dient. Die andere Summe ist die zu zahlende Hotel- Steuer/Gebühr welche für alle Personen, die in NYC in einem Hotel nächtigen, anfällt.

Staff is friendly. Rooms themselves are clean and tidy. Area is very noisy and you will need earplugs. Air conditioning is barely functioning is the room, so if you are a hot sleeper, this hotel isn’t for you.

We loved how close we were to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, subway, Central Park and restaurants. The only things I might suggest is providing eye masks! The lights from the billboards were constantly flashing all night. Also, we were given $10 off per day for the on-site restaurant and bar but with prices so high, $20 might have encouraged us to eat there. The hvac does cycle off and on a lot—should’ve used the earplugs provided! Appreciated the water bottles. There is a refrigerator but no microwave but not a big deal to us.

Location is great for Times Square. Staff was very friendly and the room was clean. Room was very very small though and the walls were very thin. Shower and toilet have no walls. Just a sliding shower door. This might not be good for people who want privacy.

The room was very small, but I expected that because every hotel I have stayed in in New York had small rooms. The location was excellent, just a few metres from Times Square. What I didnt like was the restaurant. The breakfast menu was really odd. Instead of conventional breakfast items the chef had gone over the top with wierd dishes and ingredients, apparently trying to go cordon bleu. Plus it was very expensive. We found a great diner roind the corner where we went for all our future breahfasts

The attitude towards me (Asian) and other white customers is clearly very different. Makes me very uncomfortable and ruined my stays. First thing, do not trust the hotel’s response and waste your time on replying to the by phone. I saw their reply to my review requiring more information, so I called them at the provided number but the person who answered just simply disappeared after I spelled my name to her. Definitely not respectful. And you can feel they don’t care about the reviews. Second thing, more details on the attitude thing. I arrived at the hotel for check in and a male receptionist assisted me. I saw how he treated other white customers with big smiles and very patient and very passionate. However, he was not very happy in face when he talked with me. And he did several things that make me very uncomfortable: 1. Never explained how to use ‘destination fee’ to me. I heard some pieces of information about it when he and other receptionists talked with other customers and asked another receptionist next day for more details such that I can use my $30. 2. When he explained how to use the elevator to me, he kept asking if I have questions about the elevator even after I told him I understood and have no questions. He treated me as if I was an idiot. Rude and disrespectful. 3. His happy face( towards another two white customers) changed at the first second when he started to talk with me. It's definitely not my duty to tolerate his attitude.
