Es war unser zweiter Aufenthalt und es war wie immer top, alles ist gepflegt, das Personal ist super freundlich, gerade die Butler vorm Hotel haben immer einen lockeren Spruch und sehr gute Insider Tipps. Die Zimmer waren jeden Tag immer sauber. Hier fühlt man sich wirklich wohl.

The staff was incredible! We felt cared about by almost everyone who worked there: the front desk, the bell captain, the women who cleaned our room, even the person who got taxis for people! We will stay here again! Also, the room and bathroom were very nice and clean!

I haven't stayed at the property in nearly 20 years. My room was smaller than usual. It's okay. My final night i could hear the next door guests in maybe room 705. I was room 704. They were horrible. Additionally, while the front desk and bell hops were great, the hotel failed to live up to it's text messaging invites. I received a text mentioning "rooftop", "honey", "herbs" and "cocktails". Not one staff from The Parlour bartenders to bell hop to concierge to front desk, etc knew anything about it. We wasted our time on a goose chase to even purchase drinks with honey, herbs and spring celebration. The additional text for a music vibe after a checkout was simply asinine after the day before. And even if THAT event went on, we were long gone and on the highway to attend such an event.

Just a quick overnight stop on this trip. This is a beautiful hotel with a great lobby bar offering live music on Saturday evening. Guestrooms are spacious and well appointed. We had a corner room and it was surprisingly quiet for NYC. Comfortable beds and great in-room coffee. The bathroom walls and ceiling needed to be wiped down and cleaned better, but the heated floors are a nice touch! Also could use a second set of slippers and bathrobe for a room with two guests noted in the reservation. Well located midtown, we picked it to be close to Lexington shopping and our favourite restaurant walking distance away. Would definitely stay here again.

The place is historic and very beautiful. It is also in a great location for doing a lot in NYC. With that being said; The included breakfast buffett is not great and the service is terrible. Also we drank some bottled water from the minibar and for some reason that could not be refilled no matter how many times we asked or who we asked. We finally had to order a replacement bottle from room service and the front desk told us that was the only way to get this. Also on the day we were checking out (a sunday so we planned to sleep in a little). The chambermaid came to the door and rang the doorbell at 8:30 to check when we might be checking out. Very strange attitudes and not what we normally get at other intercontinental properties around the world

Paying this price I could definitely find some place else better than this. Phone is not working, no sleepers, no tooth brush… I have to go down to lobby asked for it. Booked and paid via Expedia adding breakfast fee x 2, when I checked in the staff said “no, breakfast is not included “, I insisted I paid for it, then she said ok it is found. But it includes one breakfast only… I don’t want to argue anymore. On the second day I found the proof and show her, she said ok. It’s not a matter ok or not, what happened during your communication with Expedia? Anyway, $450 is definitely not worth it, so many nice hotel surrounding. Will not come here again.

Hidden resort fees when you check out. At your arrival you get $25 food and drinks amenities credit per day, but at the check out you get to pay $39 fee taxes on top of the fee. Don’t even try to ask for a glass of water after the bar opening hours, you’ll get a rude “no service” answer before you get the chance to finish your sentence.

Great hotel location for Grand Central, Rockefeller Center, Central Park etc with a classy bar, very comfy beds and clean refurbished rooms. Downsides are thin walls…you can hear a lot in the next room…and high floors don’t give you a view.

Amenities charge of $40 per day is not optional. It should be listed as part of the room price. The breakfast buffet was not as good as the average highway motel provides. For the quality, it should be included in the room price. It's not a restaurant, which was disappointing.

Enjoyed our stay! My daughter attends school in the area, and I’ve tried four different hotels nearby. So far this is my favorite one. Recommend.

Excellent hotel overall with recent remodel!
I was pleasantly surprised. Excellent rooms, clean, new, well furnished. Excellent staff. I didn’t try foodservice, however.

There were works going on at the hotel which is why we have given a lower star, as when we tried to mention to the receptionist, he didn’t want to know…. We’d been woken up at 5am every day of our stay, which of course wasn’t great. Other than that, everything else was superb!
