the hotel is good and i would probably book it again. the staff range from very good to well... (do another jop if you don't like it). the better are good just very narrow for swiss standards. the cleanliness could be improved. the roof terrace is sensational with a beautiful view of downtown and uptown

We were lucky and had a great view from our room. The water pressure in the shower is not great. We enjoyed the location close to China Town, Little Italy, Brooklyn Bridge and the Financial Disctrict. Soho and the villages also in walking distance. Nice rooftop bar and good coffee in the morning.

They should train there Staff members
Unfortunately the staff at Frontdesk destroyed our time in NY completely ! The unfriendliness is unbelievable ! I will never visit a Hyatt Group hotel again ! So rude. Music at club was unbelievable loud

Never never again - worst experience ever !
I travel a lot for work, but I have never experienced such a bad service ! The team at front desk is the most unfriendliness I have ever seen so far. Friday and Saturday the club is open until 3 am - so on floor 2-6 you won’t get any sleep. They couldn’t check us in because of international system problem. They didn’t accept company’s cost allowance. So super unfriendly!

Sehr zentral gelegene Unterkunft. Man kommt mit der Grand oder Central u-Bahn überall super zurecht. Alles sehr sauber, Zimmer neuwertig und geräumig und ruhig. Badezimmer hervorragend. Rooftopbar ist klasse. Tolles Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Ich würde es sofort wieder buchen. Das einzige Manko war die Gegend. Wir hatten über 30 grad und in chinatown liegt überall der stinkende Müll auf der Straße und es ist dreckig. Da gibt es eindeutig Schönere Stadtteile in NYC. Das Hotel aber war spitze auch für Familien sehr geeignet.

Empfehlung
Das Hotel liegt am Rande von Chinatown, womit man schnell in Little Italy, Soho und Tribeca ist. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, der Loungebereich im 2. Stock mit Kaffee/Tee/Äpfel und die Rooftop Bar The Crown sind ganz klar eine Empfehlung. Wer ein Zimmer mit City view nimmt, hat einen tollen Ausblick auf das Empire state building und Co. Das angebotene Lieferservice für Frühstück, Mittag-/Abendessen funktionert problemlos und ist lecker. Obwohl das Hotel in einer lebhaften Gegend liegt, ist das Hotelzimmer ruhig. Und so viel netter als in oder um den Times Square. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Super schönes und sauberes Hotel. Alle waren sehr freundlich. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und hatte eine fantastische Aussicht. Verschiedene Haltestellen liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Die Zimmer sehr modern und vom Platz ausreichend. Das WLAN war sehr gut. Der einzige Kritikpunkt waren die Mitarbeiter, die sowohl beim Check-In als auch beim Check-Out sehr gelangweilt rüber kamen.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel 50 Bowery. It was easy to find and very easy to get a cab / Uber. The closest subway entrances are a 7 to 10 minute walk depending on where you're going. We felt the rooms were good size considering its NYC. They were very clean and housekeeping came every day except our last, but we didn't leave the room until around 12:30 that day so perhaps we just missed them. We were happy to get a room on the 20th floor (top) with a great view. We could hear some noise once in a while but overall it was very quiet and we had no trouble sleeping. The front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Checking in and out was quick and easy! The only cons were minimal and more of a personal preference vs an issue with the hotel: - the bed and sheets were a bit stiff but again that's just a personal preference - would've been nice to have some hooks around the room to hang things. There's a small closet with hangers but some hooks would've made things more convenient (esp for coats and bags) - the ledge in the shower is teeny tiny so not really any room for anything except the little travel size toiletries they provide. Biggest pros: - awesome staff, friendly & helpful! - decent sized room & bathroom for NYC - clean / daily housekeeeping - quiet! - good location relative to ease of getting a cab & walking distance to subway stations

Love staying at this hotel. The staff are always wonderful, especially James at the front desk. Location is great, right in the heart of Chinatown and close to all kinds of restaurants and shops. Not far from multiple subway lines.

Staff was excellent …. I booked this for the view and it stated “city view” we did NOT get a city view we got the Bowery view … we paid extra for it and the staff said they had 2 kindred suites and they were both Bowery views …thhe tried to get us a new room but the beds were sooooo small and we are a 6ft and above family … the pull out in the suite everytime you moved it was like popcorn popping and the pull out was very uncomfortable… for the price we paid the view and comfort were very important and fell short …. The hotel room was very nice and we did have alot of room … very clean too …. But again we paid for a city view and did not get it …..I will be in touch with Hyatt regarding this …. Not the staffs fault they were great !!!

Overall, this was a nice hotel for our stay in NYC. The biggest issue I have is the “Manhattan Bridge” view we booked and paid extra. The view we got was just of the entrance ramp to the bridge and not the bridge itself, so definitely misleading. Our room probably did have a view of the actual bridge back before 1975 when the large building blocking the view was built.

Hotel and staff were amazing. Would definitely stay here again if ever in New York again! Roof top bar has an amazing view and great drinks but management there was awful and unpleasant. I would recommend going up there for one drink to see the view of the city and then leaving because they do not treat customers well.
