Tolle Lage, Tolles Hotel
In New York ein bezahlbares Hotel zu finden ist nicht einfach und die Zimmer sind meist sehr sehr klein. QC ist eine guter Mix und ist toll gestaltet. Die Lage könnte besser nicht sein. Die kostenfreien Wasserflaschen und Kaffee waren auch super. Sofort wieder.

Leider alt und unsauber
Leider, auch für New Yorker Verhältnisse sehr abgewohnt. Der Teppich und die Möbel könnten mal Ersatz vertragen. Obwohl von der Rezeption beim einchecken bestätigt, wurde das Zimmer während des Aufenthaltes nicht gereinigt. Auch waren die zur Verfügung gestellten Badutensilien schon offen und es lagen überall Haare herum. Das Zimmer war nach innen gelegen, die Klimaanlage war so laut, dass man mit geschlossenem Fenster nur schwer schlafen konnte.

Unterkunft war sehr laut da auf den Dächern der Umgebung die Klimaanlagen durchgängig und somit auch in der Nach gedonnert haben. Da die Fenster nicht dicht und lärmreduzieren waren, hat man dies die ganze Nacht deutlich zu hören bekommen.

First night I was on the 6th floor. All night there was a lot of noise caused by the fan outside, even when the window was closed. So I could not really sleep. After I claimed this situation I moved to the 7th floor which did not change the situation a lot. On my third night I moved again, this time to the 12th floor which made the situation a little bit more acceptable. On Sunday 22nd May I wanted to watch TV once because of the NBA Playoffs. But the TV did not react after hitting the power button. Also an associate who came to my room could not solve the problem. Further on often under the shower the water almost stopped for a couple of times, also during washing my hands. During washing my hands sometimes dirty, brown water came out of the water tap, which was really disgusting. Summarized that is not what I expected on that price level and that is not what I expect from any decent hotel. I booked my stay in the hotel already in November and I paid a lot of money in advance. Very disappointing that there is no intention by the Hotels staff to come to an agreement with the guest. The only thing they offered to me is 1 free night at a Club Quarters Hotel. They refuse to issue a credit note that I asked for. Never again any Club Quarters Hotel! That got nothing to do with customer focus.

Im Großen und Ganzen ein gutes Hotel. Exzellente Lage, quasi "mittendrin" und Zimmer und sonstige Einrichtungen sind auch in Ordnung. Es war bereits unser zweiter Besuch dort - zuvor schon in 2019. Leider sind aber seither (vielleicht auch nur vorübergehend?) diverse Annehmlichkeiten weggefallen/gestrichen worden! Vorher gab es in der Lobby immer diverse Softdrinks (Dosen) und auch diverse kleine Snacks (Obst, Müsliriegel, Nüsse, ...) zum mitnehmen und für die Gäste kostenlos. Dies wurde nun alles, mit der Begründung Corona, nicht mehr angeboten. Dies könnte ich auch in sofern vielleicht noch nachvollziehen, wenn dies dann auch wirklich auf alles Andere zutreffen würde. Kaffeemaschine und Wasser (in Form eines Zapfhahns) gibt es aber noch. Was daran dann, in Bezug auf Corona, hygienischer sein soll, wenn jeder die Kaffeemaschine bedient und insbesondere seinen vorher vielleicht schon benutzten Wasserbecher am Zapfhahn wieder auffüllt, erschließt sich mir leider nicht. So macht es eben leider den Anschein, als ob die Softdrinks aufgrund von Sparmaßnahmen und nicht wegen der Corona-Auflagen gestrichen wurden! Leider wurden wir bei der Buchung auch nicht über den Wegfall dieser Annehmlichkeiten informiert, sondern erfuhren dies erst vor Ort, dass es dies eben nicht mehr geben würde. Schade!

Das Hotel hat eine perfekte Lage für einen New York Trip und das Personal war auch perfekt. Das Zimmer allerdings war ziemlich schlecht und wir hatten schon eine teure Kategorie gebucht. Alt, abgewohntbund ohne Fenster. Das hatte ich noch nie. Ich möchte nicht wissen wie die einfachen Zimmer ausgesehen haben.

We booked the standard double and were given a glorified box room, bed pushed up into a corner with a wardrobe at the foot so not easy for person sleeping against the wall to get out at night. Tiny window onto internal column of the hotel with all the air on units attached. Wash basin cracked and would not hold water, if the toilet flush was held to give a long rinse then water stated spraying out the back, this was reported but nothing done. Expedia shows this hotel as having a restaurant and bar, there is no restaurant and the bar was not open everyday, no explanation. When in the bar area a member of staffs iPad sits on a ledge streaming basket ball, hardly professional. A general air of couldn’t care less hangs over the hotel.

staff was excellent. Check in process was a little weird with the tight kiosk but not complaining because the staff was super helpful and ready to answer any and all questions. cozy and very convenient location.
