Also nice being able to walk to the Explorer bus stops to access Acadia park trails and sights without parking issues if you come during busy season (bus only runs certain months, did not use this visit but have on previous visits and LOVED the easy access)“

„We loved this house. Sure, it is rustic (as the title says), but we loved the vibe. The architecture, exposed wood, and white floors felt like a 60s surf bungalow. The house is interesting and there are some quirks, but nothing that had any impact on our stay. It was clean and well appointed where it mattered- the linens were clean and fresh, the kitchen and bathroom were clean, the mattresses on the twin beds seemed new. It was walking distance to the little town, beach, playground, Sconset ...

„Very nice property in a quiet neighborhood right across the river from downtown Salem and most attraction. Very walkable when the weather is nice. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space for groups traveling together. Communication with the host was easy, Meg was very responsive. Decent sized outdoor space with a grill and patio furniture. Really enjoyed our Salem experience and would rent again the next time we come here. Only suggestion I have that would be a nice enhancement would be a hot ...
