Dearest Anna, as you have checked out with a big smile on your face and full of apraisal towards our hotel and team: Is it possible that you have mixed up the scale using "2" (pretty bad) instead of "9" (almost perfect)?If this is the case, we kindly ask you to correct your marks as a "2" is really not what reflects our offerings and harms our virtual reputation enormously. Dear Anders, first of all we want to thank you for taking the time on reviewing your stay with us. We are very proud to read that you have enjoyed our customer service as well as our breakfast and dinner choices. In terms of the given temperatures within our (and probably all old) castle(s): We are totally sorry, that we weren't able to meet your expectations here. Not meant as an excuse, but more as an explanation to you (and others) reading this: Our estate, 175 years of age, indeed does not meet modern insulation standards you may be used to. After your complaint at reception in regards to the given temperatures inside we have messured your guest room with 19,5 degrees - which in fact isn't super warm, but fairly sufficient in terms of an old castle you have choosen to stay during very cold weather conditions outside ... but most defintely not "ice-cold" as you may have experienced it. Additional bedding upon your request, our warming logfire in our restaurant & bar ... and maybe a warm pullover from your side ... would had been the measures to keep you comfy throughout your 1 nights stay. Having said that, we most certainly apologize that we weren't able to meet your expectations and look forward seeing you again in - warmer - summer times.All the very best,
